How did you feel your transition from high school to Division I in Hockey East was? hard, easy? I think I adjusted pretty well to the game. The major difference would have to be the speed and the strength of the players.
How do you stay mentally strong? Just by taking each game one at a time don’t get ahead of my self and by practicing hard every day.
In your opinion, what is your strength in the game? Many people consider my strength as being a play maker I think my ability to see the ice would be a strength to my game.
Weakness? You can always improve on your strength and I’m working on my shot a lot.
How do you overcome your weakness? Just by practicing it day after day and you have to realize its going to take time its not just going to happen.
What is the best piece of coaching advice you have ever received?
Always play hard you never know who is watching
What is the most important skill for a forward to possess in your opinion?
I think the most important skill for a forward in my onion would have to be awareness and skating defiantly.
What was your path to Hockey East? Youth hockey on Long Island USA U17 NDTP (international tournaments-4) USHL Waterloo Black Hawks
What were you like as a youth hockey player? standout? grinder?
I would say I wasn’t a standout kinda in the middle.
