The Mountain Creek Resort in the heart of the Kittatinny Mountain Range is a dream vacation spot let alone kids summer camp for HOCKEY AND MOUNTAINEER OUTWARDBOUND FUN TO THE MAX!  The accommodations are first class with all the creature comforts of central air and a fully equipped kitchen to allow campers to bring snacks and drinks.  The swimming pool overlooking the mountain range with lifeguard makes down time fun time to take a dip in the pool in the heat of the summer months-just soaking up the mountain air is a treat in itself.  Easy airport access out of Newark Intl Airport makes about an hour ride for airport transfers. 

The hockey portion of the curriculum is always Jeff Serowik’s patented and signature PRO AMBITIONS HOCKEY INC.’S BATTLE CAMP curriculum.  To learn more about this curriculum click on the BATTLE camp page of the day camp portion of the website.  In a nutshell, Jeff and PRO AMBITIONS HOCKEY has been known for specializing in this game situational curriculum that focuses on all sorts of battles all over the ice-hockey is a game of battles and we teach how to win those battles-little victories all over the ice makes the overall player and cements the win on the scoreboard. 





 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Parents no need to shy away from the word battle as battling is taught safely and effectively-one on ones, two on twos , three on threes, two on ones, three on twos and so on.  Little strategies to learn to do the little things right all over the ice throughout ones games.

Campers will skate in the morning and be shuttled from the resort to the rink for a two hour on ice session.  They will be shuttled back for lunch as well as some down time to relax in their room or swim in the pool or even watch TV.  Yes, kids may bring video equipment to this camp as we have tvs in the rooms.  This camp is resort based and once again has all the creature comforts of home.  Mountaineer Outward bound activities will take place in the afternoon from 330-530 then back for dinner.  This was another huge factor in choosing this amazing new location for PRO AMBITIONS to host it’s hockey fantasy vacation boarding camps…these outdoor activities and companies that we have partnered with are some of the best in their fields nationwide.

Mountaineer Outward Bound Schedule:

Sunday:
Check in from 3-5pm, no hockey, group team building games and informational meeting after dinner

Monday:

Tuesday:
Horseback riding or biking park/swimming

Wednesday:
-Mountain creek water park-right near the resort www.mountaincreekwaterpark.com

Thursday:
Guided hike the Kittatinny/swimming

Friday:
Check-out/swimming
