The Stratton Mountain School is host to our HOCKEY OUTWARD
BOUND camp as well. The campers will be bused along with
the OUTWARD BOUNDERS to Riley Rink for our Pro Ambitions
Battle Camp curriculum from 8:30-11am every morning. Next,
the kids will be tutored by some of Vermonts
top golf instructors lead by Steve
Shepardson, former Head Golf Pro and Director of
Golf for the Equinox. Steve head's up the golf curriculum
for Pro Ambitions and brings the kids to the beautiful
all grass driving range right next door to the rink from
1:30-4:30pm for some serious semi private lesssons. From
there
the kids
will be
bused to one of Vermont's Top pro golf courses, Gleneagles
Golf Course at the Equinox Resort in Manchester for their
daily 9 hole round of golf to work on the skills
learned in their lessons.

Here is the daily itinerary:
- 8:30am-11am Battle camp on the ice at Riley Rink
- 1:30 to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Practice Tee/Driving
Range (REAL GRASS Not Mats) group instruction (no more
than a 3 to 1 student to teacher ratio).
During this time groups will work on every aspect
of the full swing, as well as the fundamentals of the
short game. (This will also be worked on as part
of their on course instruction later in the day.)
- From 5 -7pm groups will tee off in foursomes at the
Equinox with their golf pro for
9 hole playing lessons. We will play 9 holes with
on course instruction from Monday through Thursday.
On Friday, we will have the students and their pro’s
play a "captain and crew" final golf match (again
at 5:00 pm).
Steve Shepardson will oversee all instruction and teach
a group as well. All teachers will follow the same game
plan:

- Grip
- Stance
- Posture
- Alignment
- The Equinox Resort and Spa is home to Gleneagles Golf
Course, the top public course in the state of Vermont.
- Approximately 8 miles from the practice tee to the
Equinox.
- Rental clubs are available if needed, top of the line
Taylor Made R7 irons with R5 and R7 Titanium
- Optional: Video of swing and lesson available upon request.
