Greg Walters, better known to the hockey world as Wally is the next best thing to me as far as teaching and coaching defensemen. Wally is a former teammate and played many years in the AHL and IHL. Wally was a hard nose defense/forward/enforcer which is actually pretty ironic because he is a teddy bear and the nicest guy you will ever meet. Wally spent 8 years coaching with the Sarnia Sting of the OHL and has coached many superstars including Steven Stamkos but specialized in working with the defense. His passion and knowledge for defense is paralleled with mine and his infectious teaching style and personality will make him a camp favorite for years to come. This is going to be Jeff Serowik's defense camp curriculum taught by Head Coach Wally and our Pro Ambitions Staff.

Was a guest coach with Ontario’s U16 Program of Excellence during the 2006- 07 season ... Interim head coach with Sarnia for 41 games during the 2003-04 season, leading the team to its first division championship ... Player-coach with the Port Huron Border Cats (UHL) during the 2001-02 season ... Played 12 seasons of professional hockey (1990-2002) with the Port Huron Border Cats (UHL), Houston Aeros (IHL), Rochester Americans (AHL), Chicago Wolves (IHL), Brantford Smoke (CoHL), St. John’s Maple Leafs (AHL), Raleigh Icecaps (ECHL) and Newmarket Saints (AHL) ... Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round (80th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft ... Played three seasons (1987- 90) with the Ottawa 67’s (OHL) ... Captained Ottawa during the 1989-90 season
