BOSTON UNIVERSITY BOARDING CAMP

BOSTON UNIVERSITY INDIVIDUAL CAMP

This is another new add on to the Boston University boarding camp repertoire. After last year's inaugural summer at BU many campers requested a two week stay. This is a great alternative for those folks and/or for those who want only one week of camp to address specific needs for their individual game. This is a custom fit, tailor made camp for your child. Prior to arriving at camp, there will be a one step interview process with Jeff via phone or email. He will ask many poignant questions regarding the players strengths and deficiencies. Jeff will also narrow down the focus to individualize the camp for your child. We will capitalize on existing strengths and bring weaknesses up to par. Every hockey team is a recipe. Each player is chosen because he or she is an important ingredient. All players need to find their niche in the game. The individual camp is the best opportunity to find it. At the same time they will feel the hockey tradition of Boston University.

Highlights of the week:
  • 3:1 and 4:1 Coach/player ratio
  • Feel the BU hockey tradition living in the Terrier dorms and skating daily on their home ice.
  • Lecture from renowned NHL sports psychologist, Max Offenberger. Learn at an early age how to hone your mental toughness and how to maximize a child's confidence on and off the ice. Max works and has worked with many of the NHL's greatest-including Jeff, Cam Neely, Dominic Hasek. He is currently working with many NHL teams-Ottawa, Tampa Bay and more. Max is proud to have been given the Stanley Cup for a week this past September as he worked so closely with The Tampa Bay Lightning on their journey toward winning the Championship. The players and brass felt he was such an important component in their victory. Max is quite an inspirational speaker and has so many exciting hockey tales to tell.
