As a former NHL player and now a coach at the amateur level, the Pro Ambitions Battle Camp curriculum is hands down the best I have seen. The game of hockey is all about 1 on 1 battles and puck possession. The PABC< drills were designed with this in mind. I have been the lead instructor for 4 PABC camps and have seen each and every kid improve after just one week. The kids learn the skills necessary to play on both sides of the puck (offence & defence).

I am a strong believer in Jeffs methodologies and trust that jeff will continue to challenge players of all ages.
Thank you,

Former Chicago Blackhawk

Pro Ambitions is one of the best programs I have seen in the NY/NJ area. The Battle Camps are great, my son loves to attend as many as he can.

Great job boys!!

“Love the Battle camp and curriculum. The kids work hard, have fun and at the end of the day go home with great tools to utilize during their season.”

Tom Fitzgerald,
18 Year NHL Vet

“From what I’ve seen, Pro Ambitions camps are among the best hockey camps offered anywhere. The combination of a well-designed curriculum with a knowledgeable and experienced staff gives young hockey players the tools and training they need in order to prepare and achieve at their next level. I’ve worked at several Pro Ambitions camps and feel good knowing the camps always deliver on their promise.”

Tom Chorske
11 year NHL Vet

Jeff,

My son has attended several of your camps the last couple years and always looks forward to coming back. Your camps are fun, challenging and non stop action with great instructors who truly care about each player.

Hi Jeff

Just wanted you to know my kids had a great time at your camp. I really enjoyed the format and how the kids stayed moving. I couldn’t believe how much Ryan (forward) picked up on all the body position techniques.

If your in NY again we will be back.

Thanks,
Scott Gordon
Head coach of the NY Islanders.

P.S. I bought your video and incorporated a few of the drills in my mini camp.

“What impressed me most about your camps which my son attended (2 weeks) was the game situation drills you teach. Everyone needs to attend a battle camp at any age because it’s the meat and potatoes of what the game of hockey is whether your in the NHL or a mite player. Your angling drills, puck protection, pinning, timing, shooting drills under pressure, all skill drills and battle drills were fun, very creative and i saw big improvement each day in my son.”

former 15 year NHL veteran and teammate of Jeffs

Hello,

My son Evan attended the Kents Hill camp last summer and worked with Phil Russell (former NHL Captain Calgary Flames/Chicago), I wanted to have his mailing address so I can write to him and thank him for changing my son’s life. Evan came home from camp super motivated this year. My son has made huge strides in hockey and his season is off to a great start.

Thank you!
Happy New Year!

Sincerely,
Melissa M

“Pro Ambitions has an outstanding reputation and does a great job training the kids. Keep up the great work”

Marty McInnis (former NHL’er)

My kids and team love attending the battle camps. Great drills, lots of fun and always seems to challenge the kids. The kids are always moving and get great skill development.

Scott Young

My kids and I have been involved with Pro Ambitions Hockey for 7 years now and they continue to put out the best coaching/drills year after year blowing away any other camps we have attended. My kids look forward to these camps every summer and really improve.

Joe Sacco
Colorado Avalanche Head Coach

“Jeff, I can’t wait to send my kids to your camps. What a great experience these kids are getting. Too bad there was not a hockey instruction outfit like yours back in our day!”

Jeremy Roenick
NHL All Star

“I love the battle camp concept, great drills and very effective for the kids growth and improvement”

Tony Amonte (former NHL Star)

Just wanted to follow up with you.

I didn’t get a chance to chat with you at Hartland.
I wanted to Thank you and your team for the great job they did in both Hartland WI. and Middleton.

I have been putting my son in about as many camps as I can.
The result from those camps are all over the place.
Some of them are barely more than daycare on ice.
Too many kids and not enough coaches.
Coaches that actually want to provide feedback to the kids at the right time helping the kid to make the correct decision/technique.

At one camp I watched a trainer run a station with their back towards the kid running the station the whole time and they had no idea if they were doing it correctly or not.
Many of them were not. No feedback. The kids learned nothing.

In Hartland I talked with coach Jeff from Wyoming (I think) He had a 9yo son named Blake at the camp.
I really liked his style. He kept things moving and the kids in line. But always stayed positive with them and wanted them to have fun….even while making them do push ups 

I talked with several others throughout the week. All very helpful and seemed to want to help the kids get better.
I had a 1 on 1 coach in Hartland for my son (Frank). He did great. Provided feedback/advice in real time in most of the drills.
He kept it fun.

This was exactly what I was looking for and I think my son did get a lot from it.
Improved stickhandling, Shooting and skating.

We just wanted to thank you guys for having Tanner on the team in Sweden and Finland.  It was an amazing tournament, and such a well organized trip.   We are so proud of the boys for winning the championship to end this incredible trip!

Pro Ambitions is an amazing organization, we have been so impressed with the coaching at both the development camps and the tournament.  Tanner has learned so much, we look forward to more camps and tournaments in the future.

Thanks again for this amazing experience !

Tanisha

I wanted to let you know that Tommy and I had a great time on the Sweden/Finland trip. Both cities and the trip to Estonia lived up to my expectations.

I wanted to particularly call out our coach Henry who did a tremendous with both the boys and parents. This was particularly tricky in light of the broad age spread of the group (14-18) which resulted in some lopsided games against the true Finnish 18U teams. He struck the right balance between being competitive and having the drive to win, but also this experience as part of the hockey development process.

As a goalie, Tommy certainly saw his fair share of high-quality chances…

All the best,

Doug

I hope you had a smooth return back home.  We saw you in the scramble in Munich to get to the transfer flights on the return home, but didn’t have a chance to say hi and thanks.  I wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to join you in Prague.  Solomon learned a lot hockey-wise and had a great overall experience.  We hope to join you again next year.  Please let me know when you release your schedule for next summer.  We might consider joining Finland if it is earlier again and avoid the whole start of school issue.  And we’ll be on the lookout for any clinics and camps you may have on the West Coast.

Thank you again.

Regards,

Sam

We can’t thank you enough for such a great trip for Gardy, his mom Terry and Chip !

I think that you said before ..” a trip of a lifetime “..,you were right ! Chip loved the camp and tournament …

Safe travels !! Be well ! Kathryn C.

I wanted to take a moment to just express our appreciation to you for the opportunity and experiences we had in Prague. We ride an emotional rollercoaster with Reese and, earlier this year, we were told this trip was his last competitive hockey experience. Just prior to leaving, they added more people to his care team and discovered his level of fitness is helping his heart handle his activity far better than we expected. This allowed us to fully and thoroughly enjoy our experience with you all.

These experiences are far beyond hockey, which I know you realize. It exposes these kids to the experiences of others, teaches them history, and helps them realize the world is far bigger than their own little sphere. The hockey is just an addition of something they love to do.

Our family is already hoping that the stars align to allow us to join the Italy team next summer. We will watch your emails closely. Reese is too old for the Hockey East clinic in 2024, but would still love to be a part of the on-ice experience in any capacity you will have him. Henry – your words to Reese over this week have meaning and were not taken lightly by him, just so you know. Thank you for your kindness.

Jeff and Christine – thank you for the hard work you put into this. It is obvious you enjoy these experience as much as we all do. It was a pleasure meeting your daughter and I hope we get to join you in Italy. Reese really took to heart what you said to him, Jeff, and he will work on his confidence on the ice to bring it all with him next year.

Thank you is not enough, but it is all I have to offer.

Fondly,
Jada

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for organizing the incredible hockey tournament and tour in Sweden and Finland that my son had the privilege to participate in. It was an absolute thrill for him to compete against talented teams from different countries and experience the vibrant hockey culture in these beautiful countries.

The entire trip was flawlessly planned and executed, leaving no room for disappointment. From the top-notch accommodations to the well-organized transportation, every aspect of the tour was meticulously arranged. The cultural excursions and sightseeing activities added a wonderful touch, allowing the players to immerse themselves in the local traditions and create lasting memories.

Furthermore, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the coaches and all the staff members who dedicated their time and efforts to ensure the success of this tournament. Their commitment, professionalism, and genuine passion for the sport were truly commendable. The camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed by the teams made the whole experience even more enjoyable and memorable.

Once again, thank you for providing my son with an unforgettable experience. Your dedication to promoting youth hockey and fostering international connections is truly inspiring. We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity and look forward to future camps, tournaments and tours organized by ProAmbitions.

Thank you,
David McCloskey

We can’t thank you enough for such a great trip for Gardy, his mom Terry and Chip !

Hi Coach Jeff,

I want to thank you for organizing the fantastic Sweden/Finland trip! It provided a great experience for both the kids and adults and are very well organized. We all had a great time!

Best,
Steve

Hey Henry!

Hope all is well! Just wanted to reach out and mention it was another amazing camp last week over here in 120 degree AZ! ?

Titan had a blast once again! You guys really have such a great team/staff and organization. We are looking forward to doing more with you guys and traveling next time too to some you offer. Can you please add me to mailing list for all you offer/ as sign ups open etc. so I am in the loop?

It would be awesome if you guys came back sooner and did some clinics here during the season. We have plenty that would be on board. I had a few parents mention they wanted to do last week but school started for some and asked if anything before next round of camps. Most these kids get out of school at 3 everyday and all have the same Fall and Winter break. Anyways have a great rest of your summer and thank you again for everything!! Looking forward to seeing y’all soon! ?

Hey Henry! This is Taylor, Titans mom!

Thank you SO much again for everything.  Camp was amazing and Titan had a blast! Each one of you were rockstars with these kids and the camp was seriously AWESOME!  I was with some of the kids at dinner last night and they were just so happy, loved every single coach and everything you guys did. Of course, they said they got their butts kicked but they loved it and did not want it to end! Titan learned so much and he is pumped to continue to progress. He is already showing off some skills this morning on the ice!

We are going to sign up for July as Titan was very sad this morning to not wake up for Camp! I will get that in this weekend.

I hope you had safe travels back and hopefully we see you in July. The evals came our way so fast, love it, this is great info!!!!

Have a fun weekend and good luck next week at camp!! Also, the music was the best…. I swear we hear spice girls on repeat at the den with all the figure skaters so THANK YOU haha! awesome playlist!

My son took Battle Camp in Carmel IN, and the improvements we have seen out of his is incredible! He has scored 21 goals for the season so far, with 3 hat tricks and 4 goals in one game! We cannot begin to tell you how amazing that camp is! Thank you to all of the guys that were there.
Tori

Hi Jeff,

Wanted to share some positive feedback.
Luke is back in the ice for his two teams and he has come home with so much confidence and saying he feels like he’s a leader and is so proud of how well he’s doing. He’s very pumped up. We have your camps to attribute it to!

Thank you!!

Best,
Julie

Hey Pro Ambitions,

First, my son Ronan had an absolute blast at Battle Camp. Halfway through he told me that he could feel himself improving as a player.

Second, this evaluation is thoughtful, thorough, and appreciated. We read through it together, and he gave me context and stories connected to much of what was covered. As parents, we are over the moon at the attention and accuracy. I actually shared the eval with family members and they were also impressed.

Looking forward to having Ronan participate again.

Thanks,

Rob O

I am Thomas Gularte’s grandma and he was in the Scottsdale camp. I have been managing in Hockey for over 20 years starting with my older grandson. You bring a great energy to the kids and lots of incredible skills development to the sport. Just want you to know that Thomas and the other two kids that came with us all really liked it. Hope to see you again in the future.

Mimi B

Jeff,

The kids had a great week and we wanted to thank you for pushing them and keeping an eye out for them. Teddy won the dry land shooting competition today and was thrilled with his new Gatorade cooler and swag!

Rosie’s Team One squad had a great win in their tourney today and she looked more confident than ever, thanks in large part to the camp.

She’s already looking forward to West Rox next week with Courtney and we’ll probably pick up a few more sessions before the summer is out.

Thanks again and have a great weekend.

Ted & Jen

Hi Jeff,

Thank you so much for an amazing week, Bastiain loved camp and has learned a ton.  The coaches, kids, and program has been a great experience.   This is the second camp that Bastian has attended of yours and everytime he just wants to stay longer.

Best,

Megan

This is Gary Yacavino, I met you this past week in Atlanta, my son Nash participated in your camp. I just wanted to reach out and again thank you for the job you guys did this past week. Nash had an amazing time at camp, learned a ton of new skills as well as what it takes to play at a high level. It was an amazing week for him. I mentioned this to you when we spoke but out of all the camps i ever attended as a player, taught at as a coach or had Nash participate in, your camp was by far the best I have seen. I wanted to thank you and all of the coaches this past week from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work you put in and time you/they spent with Nash. You were all great with him and I could not have been happier. We will 100% be attending your camps in the future and when he is old enough would hopefully like to participate in the Prague tourney! Hope you guys have a great rest of the summer. I know Nash will be working hard and looking forward to attending your camp again in the future.

Thanks again,

Gary Y

We wanted to thank you so much for the amazing experience Alec has his first two weeks of summer!  He said this was his best camp ever.  The detail in his evaluation is so valuable to us and we take it to heart as we work on the notes. We absolutely love it!!!

In the last two sections I wanted to point out that there are a few things, that just don’t sound like Alec.  In terms of behavior.   We take all feedback seriously and have no problem holding Alec accountable, but just wanted to double check.

In the second to last section there is another kids name mentioned.

In the last section Alec is referenced as rebellious and asks like he know more than the coaches.  We apologize if he acted this way, it just does not seem like Alec and consistent with his typical behavior.   He told me he feels like he knows less than a pea size amount about Hockey vs his coaches. We are thrilled and thankful for his experience and what you have done for him.  He even told me he had to look me in the eye! How wonderful he is learning that from you all too.

We look forward to being at another camp as soon as we can.

Kind Regards,

Sharon

Jeff,
I wanted to thank you and your crew for a great camp last week in Atlanta. The first thing Chris said when he got in to car in our way back to Charlotte was “can I come again next year”?
We received the evaluation which I as a father felt was spot on and we as parents were impressed at how you could learn so much about a player in just a week. Well done.
This week Chris will skate 3 half days at Extreme Ice Center, then off to Buffalo for a tournament. We’ll be in Foxboro in July as well with Roc City.
We are interested in Czechoslovakia for next summer—this year we have family coming in from Europe.  Please send over more info and details if possible.

Seve (ex-Pen’s equipment manager) did remember you when we saw him today to get Chris ‘ skates sharpened and said “yes, yes, I do remember Jeff. Great guy”.

Dear Christine and Jeff,

The Haider Family had a terrific week in Falmouth attending your camp in Bourne.    Eric Williams was tremendously influential on Blake Jr. and it’s fair to say this was the best overall hockey camp experience he’s had.

Thanks for putting Travis and his teammates to work. They are having a great time working together and are already talking about next summer….thanks for giving them this opportunity.

I also wanted to tell you about a conversation I had with a lady who hired Travis a few years back. She said Travis stood out above everyone else she interviewed. She pointed out that Travis held eye contact with her for the entire interview and she was impressed with him because of his confidence.(The handshake/eye contact competition)

Thank you Jeff  for teaching my son this. You have no idea how instrumental you are in teaching these kids the life lessons that they carry with them…..it is not just about hockey…..it’s about teaching them to be good humans.

Thank you so very much. Safe travels my friend.

Hello, unfortunately we were late the first day and he missed check in, so he did not receive the Mr. assist. Getting him to and from camp last week proved to be a challenge for me because my babysitter became unavailable at the last minute, but we made it work and I just wanted to thank you guys because you and your coaches were so great help tying his skates for him and even hanging around when I ended up being late picking him up. On the last day I had no idea that camp ended early and I had to go pick my other son up from Zoo camp in Cranston not to mention all the holiday traffic, so I ended up getting there at 4:15 and when I got there he was playing street hockey with one of the coaches and I just thought that was so great, so nice of him to do that. I’m sure he wanted to leave and go home, but he hung around for Oliver. I have nothing but great things to say about you guys and your camp so thanks again and hopefully will see you next year! Samantha

Mike and Jeff,

I wanted to follow up on the camp in Panorama City last week (I meant to get this out over the weekend but it slid by way too fast!).

We mostly just wanted to say thank you for putting on the camp and for “powering through” trying times. It was really gratifying as parents to finally be able to tell our kid “It’s On” as opposed to “It’s Cancelled” for a change in these crazy times. Your camps have always been great but this one will be especially memorable.

We’re looking forward to seeing you again soon – perhaps out here later in the summer or next year or in Boston or somewhere in between – or maybe Prague next year.

On the drive back up to NorCal Friday afternoon, Jack said, “Those ProAmbitions guys are kind of honorary Borlands because they powered through, aren’t they?” (Our unofficial family motto is “We’re Borlands – we power through!”).

See you soon,
Scott

Hello. How are you?

I wish you can remember me.

Time is too fast.

We had such a great time in Praha , Thank you !

We’re happy with you and good friends.

I’m thinking about that Brian transfers his school in Canada to another school in USA.

If you don’t mind, could you help us?

I’ll be happy to hear any tips or information from you.

Thank you so much !!

sincerely

Hanna hyojung Kim

Jeff,

I’d like to take a moment and let you know how truly impressed my wife and I are with Brent Troyan.

My daughter, Lillian Sonde, who’s eight and just starting out as a goalie, participated in your goalie camp here in Maryland. Brent and his step-daughter, Anna, were amazing and went above and beyond what we expected. Not only did my daughter learn the basics of goaltending, but she also came away more confident and ready to start the season.

I hope Brent and Anna get the necessary recognition that they deserve. I also look forward to having Lillian work with Brent and Anna again.

Yours truly,

-David

Hi Jeff!

I just wanted to let you know what a great time Troy had at the session tonight. He came in a few minutes late as he has tryouts this weekend. We didn’t make it Friday night & unfortunately won’t be able to attend tomorrow. I don’t think he was signed in on the roster, but he was there ?

I was really impressed with the style, energy, and effectiveness of today. The coaches were top notch, the ratio PERFECT, and your attention to all groups was fabulous. We have been to many camps & training programs where everything is over promised and under delivered – what a wonderful surprise!!!

Troy will be coming up to the AAA Prolux boarding camp at BU (6.23) and then doing another week when we will be in Maine – at UNE.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the fact that programs like yours exist ? You put a smile on this ? mom’s face tonight!!

Looking forward to BU!

Kelly

Hi Garrett,

I want to thank you for getting my son into the shot doctor clinic in Marlboro this past February.  He learned so much from the clinic and it definitely helped him with his confidence.

I have to say he is a first year squirt and he was feeling somewhat discouraged this season.  He went all season without scoring a goal.  He has 17 kids on his team, so his playing time during games was very limited.  He would come home from school and shoot pucks and always try his best during practice.  After completing the clinic I saw an improvement in his confidence level.  We just spent this past weekend at state tournament and I have to say he went out and skated like a true hockey player.  His coach noticed the difference and Devin therefore got more ice time.  He finally scored the goals that he was waiting for all season.  His team won the state championship and I can gladly say Devin played a roll in the win.

I am so grateful he had the opportunity to participate in the Pro Ambitions clinic.  He will definitely be participation in more clinics in the future.  Thank you for your assistance in getting him into the clinic.

Best regards,

Erin

Garrett,

The Dedham Defense w/ Jeff camp was awesome (high tempo, well run, great drills and instruction, etc.).  My daughter Lauren loved it.  I’ll be recommending Pro Ambitions to her teammates’ parents.  I’m not sure how to get in touch w/ Jeff so would you please pass my thanks along to him.

Best,

Dave

Coach Jeff

Thank you for your interest in our son, Jake. When we met two days ago you used the word passion. Having watched you and your team here in Canton and last year at BU it’s obvious that passion is part of your culture and what makes ProAmbitions successful. Your attention to details on the ice such as moving players around for better battle match ups or calling kids aside to give them some 1:1  pointers are easy examples of the passion in action.

We very much appreciate and want to take you up on your generous offer to help Jake get ready for his next step- prep school. As we talked about, for parents that didn’t play hockey this process is murky at best. So having someone like you in Jake’s corner who knows the ropes and can facilitate his transition is just incredible. Thank you!

Many thanks again Jeff for your willingness to help Jake out.

With much gratitude,

Gene Johner

Hi Jeff-
It was nice to meet you this week in Canton. As a full time figure skating coach, I miss most of my son’s practices & a lot of his games. I really enjoyed watching the camp -made it to 2 out of 3! I LOVE all of the skating you do at the beginning -so important for these kids! The edge work, balance & coordination drills were awesome & Mickey loved it. This was the 3rd ProAmbitions camp/clinic that he has done. We did one at Endicott College a couple of summer’s ago, did the one on St. Patrick’s Day at the Garden & now this one.
As a parent, I love to see my kid happy, challenged & proud. Every ProAmbitions experience has been positive. As a coach, it was refreshing to see a staff of professionals run a program that was challenging, educational & fun. The youth hockey world has been challenging to navigate. So many teams & so many “coaches” who are not educated or passionate about their role as coach.
Mickey is signed up for a small group skills class in a couple of weeks at Boch. We are going to try to give him more opportunities with ProAmbitions. I would love to do the Europe trip …it looks like an amazing experience.
Thank you again & Happy New Year!

Hi Jeff,

We hope you are have a magnificent fall in New England.  The months of rain have made the colors here in MN spectacular.

I want to share with you, some of the effects that a concentrated, extended summer with you has had on the boys.  Both made the top teams in their new Association here in MN. Brand new club, 3 or 4 evaluators st each level.  None had ever seen the boys before.  This is a very tight community celebrating 65 years of hockey this year.  Reilly made Bantam AA as a 1st year.  MN goes by school grade not birth year.  He’d be a second year bantam in MA.  So making AA 1st try, is awesome.  This is a good club in a tough district.  Likewise, Hunzeker made AA squirt.  Tons of kids trying out.  The tryout process here spanned nearly 3 weeks with each kid skating 6 – 8 separate days including a formal referees scrimmage against another club.  Thanks so much for all the training, confidence, and joy you’ve given them over the years and especially these past months.

All the best,

Dave

Garrett,

My son attended the Las Vegas Camp Aug 24-26.  I wanted to reach out to you and say that it was an outstanding camp and we hope you do it next year at the same place. The venue was incredible and

2 hours of ice time with the amount of skating they did was perfect. I’ve already told a number of parents about the experience and highly recommended it to them.  Thanks for putting on such a great camp and I hope to be out there next year.

Jim Mattei

Jeff and Bill,

Thank you for an amazing camp in Saugerties NY, people have already asked if we are having it next season.

Attached you will find a group picture, the coaches were awesome and everyone had lots of fun.

Thanks Again

Shawn

Jeff,

I would like to say thank you for putting together the hockey trip to Prague this summer. It is an enormous undertaking coordinating all those teams and families but you and your team managed to pull it off. Our family really enjoyed the trip and it was a great experience for our son.  On the trip, one of the 2003 fathers, Tom Casey introduced us one evening and we talked a little bit about East coast prep schools.

I would appreciate any advice you could provide and want to thank you again not only for the week in Prague, but also the two weeks we spent at your BU camps in early July. Will really enjoyed the new friends he made and the opportunity to improve his game.

I look forward to hearing from you and wish the best for this year’s hockey season.

Thank you again.

Gary

Jeff & Chirs,

I have to say THANK YOU!!
What an amazon clinic these last 3 days!!
Jameson had a blast!! He spends most of his time in goal between private coaching and games but he knows to be the best goalie he needs to be the strongest skater on the ice! He is a ninja in the net but knows he has to continue to push on his player skills. He still gets quite a but of ice time as a “hockey player” but he doesn’t love it the way he loves being in goal. This weekend you ignited a new drive we haven’t seen in a while!! Chris (? Sorry! I’m the worst with names!) you have a gift with children! You worked with him the majority of the weekend and you made him feel as though he was just as strong as everyone else! You kept it fun! Which, as much as I would love to see my kiddo end up with a full ride through college with a hockey scholarship, he just turned 6 and fun is the most important thing right now. He left today and went straight to his game and was on fire!! We talked up your clinic after the game non stop!! It’s such a perfect clinic! 2hrs is a perfect amount of time to come in, skate your ass off and go. The energy from the start was ridiculous! That playlist!!! So many of the players parents were asking for your info. Most camps that come here are 1 day or 5 and all are 7-8 hrs. That’s too long for a 6yr old.
We will 100%! attend your next clinic when you come back to town and I wouldn’t be surprised if you had a new gaggle of 6 & 7yr old kiddos joining as well!!
Thank you again!!
I hope I’m now on some mailing list so I know when you’ll be back!!
Thank you again!!
Stacey

Dear Mr. Jeff Serowik

Thank you for a great week at Boston University for our boys Nino and Laurin.

It was a great experience for them and they could benefit a lot from the huge knowhow of your coaches.

It was a highly recommendable camp.

We wish you and your family all the best.

Greetings from sunny Davos

Urs and Monika Gredig with Nino and Laurin

Wanted to update Pro Ambitions on My sons progress after attending your summer programs. He took part in the BU Defense with Jeff camp in summer of 2017 and had some amazing results that showed up in his evals last year. He made his High School Division 3 varsity team as well as the AHSHA U16 Premier development team as a freshman. I didn’t think he would be able to top last years jump in progress. However, after attending the Santa Fe and Jay Peak camps this past summer, he once again showed some dramatic improvements. He was selected to his High School Division 1 varsity team as a Sophomore and was once again
selected for the AHSHA U16 Premier team. I can’t express enough how impressed I am with your program and your instructors. The experiences and instruction at your camps have resulted in some striking jumps in my sons level of play. Clearly others have noticed as well based on the results of his evals. Thanks again for the quality and value of your programs.

Hi Rob,

My son Josh attended your hockey camp this week in Simsbury CT.  I just returned from a business trip and he’s going on about how great a time he had. Thanks for running such a terrific camp!

Cheers,

Mike Bluestein

Hi Garrett,

I wanted to send a note that Ian really enjoyed the Battle Camp this week! Please pass this information to Coach Dave, in particular, because in Ian’s words, “Coach Dave was the best coach I have ever had!”

Also, Ian would like to attend additional sessions, especially if Coach Dave is coaching there.

Thanks,

Kathy

Hello,

My name is Andy Szilvasi and my son Gavin (a goalie) attended the recent Pro Ambitions camp held at the Red Bank Armory in NJ from July 16-20. I wanted to comment on what a great time Gavin had at the camp. Not only did he enjoy working with the coaches, especially goalie coach Mike Vishnevetsky, but he also learned a ton.

I was lucky enough to beat the rink for every session that week so i was able to observe how the coaches worked with the kids. They were professional, fun, and also strict when they needed to be. But above all they were great teachers. All the kids got progressively better as the week went on and it was because of the way each and every coach blended hard work with fun.

Regarding Mike Vishnevetsky, my son has worked with several goalie coaches over the last few years. He learned more from coach Mike in 1 week than he did from any of those others. Mike took time to analyze Gavin’s game on day 1 and worked every day to break bad habits while instilling new good habits. Mike also took the time to speak with me every day about what he was seeing with Gavin and what he was working on improving.

Pro Ambitions has a tremendous group of coaches working the NJ camps. Gavin will definitely be back next year.

Hi Jeff,

My twin boys attended the camp – Patrick and Michael McGuire (9 yrs old)

It was an excellent camp.  My kids are both skating and thinking about the game better as a result of attending the camp.  We were very impressed with the speed, focus, and discipline of the drills.  The off ice time was also excellent, and the instructions were well prepared.  Again, I am very pleased with the improvement in my kids game in just 5 days, and most importantly, they had FUN.  They want to return next year, and they have already started recruiting their friends .  We only signed out kids up for a ½ day, but after Monday, your team allowed me to pay the difference and let my kids do the full day for the rest of the week.  We were worried that a full day would be overkill, but they did not want to go home at noon!

I took time to chat with some of the coaches throughout the week.  They were very polite, respectful, and extremely good with the kids.  I can tell that they were making sure that each kid was getting the attention that they required.

Cheers

Go Leafs!

Hi Jeff,

My son Aidan Stys absolutely loved the camp. This is his first year, and he said it is very beneficial to him and was super fun, he already asked to go back next year!

Sveta

Jeff, Pro Amb Mgmt,

“I went to Battlecamp day camp in (Fremont CA July 23) with my two sons 7 and 9 as wanted to spend the entire week with them bonding.  Mission accomplished!  The fact their hockey improved significantly was simply winning with house money!  I encourage more Dads to take week off from THE MAN and spend the week with their kids at Battle Camp bonding instead of Disney World.”

1)THE PROGRAM:  Great program especially the 2 puck battle stations.

2)PEER GROUP:  Program drew some of the best skaters in region so peers pushed each other.

3)COACHES:  Coaches were all solid.  Not one in bunch was a problem.  All polite.

4)TEMPO:  Practice Tempo was next level training for my boys.

SHOUTOUTS:

1)Team Leader Kyleout of AZ ran a well oiled shop.  No wasted time on ice.  Scobbie Doo van always on time.

2)Kyle Bigos (Edminton Oilers 2009) was great guy you should think about retaining in higher capacity in your firm.  You hire guy like him and find a job for him later!

Thanks,

Jon

My son had an awesome experience at your camp at the Bowie Ice Arena.  Those were literally his words “it was awesome” when asked after his first day.  My son is 7, and very new to hockey, so almost every speed skating or hockey drill he did was new and different- but I have never seen him so happy playing a sport.   I watched him play here and there and know he was the least skilled of the entire group- but what I loved most about your camp was your staff of players.  Those young men were incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging to all the kids, but especially to my son. Coach Anthony and Coach Ryan particularly stood out in my son’s experience.  There was also a younger man (who my son couldn’t recall his name) who was just finishing high school and headed towards community college- wanted to play and coach.  But all of those guys seemed to be truly great coaches for these kids.  The program was organized, well run, and all the kids seemed engaged and happy to be there.  Thank you!  Looking forward to coming back to your camp in the future.

Best,
Becky

Hi Jeff – My kids LOVED it. I can’t recall who ran the camp locally in Reston, but he was awesome.  He ran a tight ship, but made it fun and a terrific environment to help grow the love for the game.  The first two days, my youngest son was with a group that seemed slightly less experienced and the counselors were very accommodating. Moreover, our boys looked great at the scrimmage so we could tell they got a lot out of the lessons. Finally, they came home every night looking forward to going back the next day.

We’ll sign up again for sure. Thank you!!

Hi Jeff,

As we are driving back to Long Island from Vernon NJ where my boys Jagger and Jett attended the Defense and Battle boarding camps, I had to write to you to tell you what an AMAZING experience they had at ProAmbitions camps this summer!

My son Jagger attended week 3 skating camp at BU and then both boys, Jagger and Jett attended week 5  battle camp at BU, as well as this past weeks Battle and Defense camp in NJ.

I could go on forever regarding the endless stories about the elite hockey skills they learned and practiced each day but also about the fun they had and the amazing people they met.

The ProAmbitions staff are  OUTSTANDING!  They were so talented, warm, kind, trustworthy, exceptionally hardworking and I felt 100 percent confident they would take care of my boys in my absence.

Becca was beyond wonderful!  Mark, Ian, Spencer, Jasper, Mike and countless others did an outstanding job running the program at BU.

Reggie, Ryan, Mark, Caroline, Mike, Matt, Charlotte, Beuk, Tim, Aaron, Adam, and many more……one nicer than the next and talented, patient, funny and just a wonderful representation of you and the ProAmbitions summer program.

I saw the results of their hard work at the end of each session……your staffs hard work and my boys hard work!  My husband and I were really “WOW-ed!”

It’s truly a blessing to have our children spend time with your team of great Counselors who are not only elite hockey role models but even better human beings!

Also, what really impressed me were the boys evaluations and how your staff nailed it!  They communicated their strengths and weaknesses very clearly and with such accuracy. Great job with taking the time to really watch each player and make a solid evaluation.

The smile on Jagger and Jett’s face each week was priceless. The team work with their peers on ice was truly beautiful to watch.

It was so moving that I actually teared up a bit. Not all Hockey moms are as tough as their reputation!!!!

So, THANK YOU very much for creating such a great program for youth hockey players. Please extend a warm THANK YOU to everyone who made those 3 weeks so special for Jagger and Jett.

The 2019 summer schedule can’t come out soon enough. We look forward to next year.

Fondly,
Tanya

“I could not be more pleased with Christian’s hybrid power skating clinic. Amazing instructor, amazing with the kids, and unique drills and techniques that he teaches not taught in most traditional youth hockey programs. Huge value.”

Gregg Jackson,  Father of twelve-year-old son Jake who loves Pro Ambitions.

Can you please thank Jeff for me for a great week of camp at PC.

And tell him my son Harrison had a lot of fun and said the off ice was tough.

He said to me he would definitely come back next year.

Regards,

Craig

Jeff-

Hopefully you’ll have time to read my note to Garrett. In short- absolutely thrilled with the BU camp. You not only helped Jake become a better hockey player, you helped my wife and I with our bigger goal which is to raise a boy into a young man. Having the chance to experience life on his own for a week and seeing what housing is like should he choose to do a prep school or college is a great experience for a 13 year old.

As for the hockey, little things that are huge can make all the difference. By that I’m referencing the coaches who took enough interest to see that Jake was out performing his peer group. They easily could have kept him in his age bracket – a no risk, no effort decision. Instead they moved him up a level or two so that he would be challenged all week in terms of the size, speed competitions, the scrimmages, the physicality. That’s a decision made by people that take an interest in developing kids and care about the experience they have the week they are at your camp. We are grateful to all the coaches as they were wonderful to our son throughout the week.

I’d be remiss in not mentioning Garrett. He’s a great asset to your company. He was always there for me by email and through phone calls. His knowledge and patience to answer my questions (I’m an auditor so I always have lots of questions) was what made me comfortable enough to send my son to your camp. We had never done a boarding camp and there was anxiety in our household about leaving a kid his age in Boston for a week. Garret helped me understand it all and we were actually excited by the time camp rolled around because we really felt this was going to be a growth experience for our son. And it was!

So thank you for everything and we hope to have Jake in your D camp next year. Probably as much as Jake, I’m looking forward to learning more about dots, DAP, and GAP control (his coaches yell “close the gap” but that tells him nothing about when, how fast, how far which would be far more instructive). Probably a great bar stool discussion.

With thanks & appreciation,

Gene

Hi Jeff,

I wanted to reach out and thank you and your staff for a great week at BU. Indy had a blast – it’s a special week for him and something he looks forward to all year. That MVP stick you gave him has been right next to his bed every night since he’s been home.

I can’t thank you and your coaches enough for making it such a memorable experience.

Good luck the next few weeks and Indy will see you in Prague.

Best,

Seth

Proof is in the Pudding! John went to skills night tonight with his old team and one of his last yearcoaches( who happens to be the boys father you let come for free with John)And he said after skills was over “Wow,John looks amazing after the week with proambitions camp “and he is going to send him with John on next school break AND next summer to BU! So another coach out here seeing all your hard work come to fruition. I showed him the D camp video you just posted and he could not believe how many coaches you had on the ice. I just smiled and said Yep and they all are really dedicated to their players!Have a great day!

Cindy

Good Afternoon Jeff.

Thank you for that amazing camp this past week in Bourne.  My player is so motivated to become a more complete player this upcoming season because of it.

Thank you,

Marcy LeBlanc-Turner

Garrett, just wanted to drop you a note regarding this week’s Power Skating camp.

My son started the week quite nervous and less than excited about the camp.  By the end of the first day he was fully engaged and enjoying the experience.  By the end of Day 2 he was asking if he could do the “sleep away” version next year.  By the end of Day 3 (yesterday) he was asking if I could make sure he could do another camp with the same coaches.

I have seen big improvements in his skating and stick handling.  His confidence is also way up.  Christian is running the camp and doing a great job.  The ratio of kids-to-coaches is great.  Also, JW really loves the off-ice activities and Christian and his team have made an effort to include JW with the kids who are boarding in post-dinner activities which he really appreciates.

Please pass along my accolades and thanks to Christian and his team.

Sincerely,

Mike

My son is having an incredible week and I see his confidence growing everyday. This kid is my heart so like I said words could never thank you.I think because he had a late hockey start at 10 he felt he never fit in. My husband and I both feel after these three days he feels like a “real” hockey player if that makes sense! My husband just told me he said he wants to also do a battle camp this summer now! I am so happy for him. I am not the most social media savvy girl but have tried to pass along on twitter and Facebook ( and lamely my 14 year old girl says!)
On Instagram my sentiments on you and your camp.I also reached out to my cousin whose son is big at brick stars hockey in nj and am going to reach out to some people I know play for u13 nj Titans Not sure what I could do to show my gratitude so just passing on my awesome experience to those I know.I think I just cannot fathom that you would be so kind to my son and feel so blessed by your presence with him. Have a great night.
Cindy

Hi Jeff,

I really want to thank you for going above and beyond. My son has been coming to proambitions camps for years but this was only my 12 year old daughter’s second time. She was the only girl and your staff was amazing. They made sure she had her own locker room and they sat with her at lunch. Furthermore, although I paid for a 2:1, she received 1:1 coaching.

Thanks for a great week.
Cory

We spent all summer last year traveling the country attending hockey camps with a couple of 12U players.  After visits to Colorado, Michigan, New York, and Massachusetts, this was far and away the best camp the kids had attended.  The quality of the week-long curriculum for the value was unprecedented.  All the coaches were amazing with the kids and the results we’ve seen in their games has been evident.  Great camp that we’ll continue to attend for years to come.

Justin Longval

Hello Jeff, as always another fantastic, motivating, reinforcing, thought provoking email!

You send out the MOST RELEVANT youth sports related emails that we get!

My 10 y.o. son went to one P.A. camp a few years ago and we are looking forward to having the opportunity to attend another one in Arlington, VA sometime soon.

GO CAPS!

Thanks, Peter Groves

Hi Jeff,

I just wanted to thank you for all the awesome emails that you send out!

I always look forward to receiving your inspiration messages about Hockey. They are clear, concise, informative and motivating. You put everything in perspective and it’s very refreshing.

My boys, Jagger and Jett are attending a few weeks of ProAmbitions hockey camp this summer in Boston and New Jersey and they are very excited. While this is their first time attending your program, I am fully confident they are going to have an amazing experience.

Thank you for your time, really appreciate it.

Tanya

The Woonsocket Northstars in their final game under this name ever (organization has merged) has won the EHF Bantam Elite tier 1 Championship today at the New England Sport Center.

Pro Ambitions summer camp attending and Jeff Serowik student Aidan Darlington had two goals and 5 assists to help his team win this historic victory.

Thank you to Jeff and the Pro Ambitions team.

Hi Coach Serowik,

My name is Kim and my son Davis has been to your Vegas defense camp twice and once to Tahoe to your defense camp. His first camp with you in Vegas he cried half way though the first day saying it was too hard and he didn’t think he could continue. Well he did and he continues to LOVE your coaching. He has brought friends to both camps and this year several kids from Park City are attending Vegas.

I just wanted to send you a quick Thank You for all the hard work you put into these camps for the kids. My son had the benefit of working one on one with you and Billy last year and it really helped him turn a corner.

He was listing his top 10 coaches and your name came up in the top 5. It’s strange when you think about all the coaches a kid, who has only been skating four years, has worked with. There are a LOT!! When you think that he hasn’t skated with you or had any interaction in six months and he still has you in his thoughts it’s a testimate to your coaching.

So, really just a big Thanks for your time and energy. It takes a village to raise a kid, but I think it takes more than that to raise a hockey playing kid.

I know he is looking forward to skating with you again in Vegas for the April defense camp.

All our best,

Chuck, Kim and Davis

Hey Jeff,

My daughter Summer-Rae Dobson now playing at Mercyhurst University (Freshman year) participated in you Battle camps here in Huntsville when she was PeeWee level.  It was

The best camp for our daughter because it has separated her from the other girls.  She can battle the puck out of any corner!

Again loved your Battle camp when it was here in Huntsville, Ontario.

Thanks,

Connie

Hi Coach Jeff,

I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to speak with Sean on Saturday. We really appreciate it and Sean really took it to heart. He went to practice right after the call with a ton of excitement and then played 2 games Sunday extremely well. Sean always skates hard, he is brilliant at forechecking / back checking…but Sunday he ended up with 1 goal and 4 assists….those were his first points so far this season (8 games in so far). I think your talk had a big part of his success Sunday.

Again, we really appreciate you speaking with Sean and looking forward to Pro Ambitions this summer.

Best regards,

K

2 years ago our oldest boy entered his first year of Squirts and was the last kid cut from the “A” team and sent down to the “B” team. He scored 62 points on the “B” team that year, but he wasn’t challenged and didn’t grow. The next year he was a strong “A” team player but wasn’t reaching his potential. Entering Pee-Wee this year nothing has changed in terms of the 2005 kids holding most of the slots leaving just a few for the 2006 kids. His week at BU this summer made the difference though. He made the “A” team as a 2006 this time around. He picked up the skills and confidence at camp that he needed to jump up the ladder. We don’t care if he plays A or B team, but we are happy he has learned that working harder can make a difference in the outcome. Pretty critical lesson for an 11-year-old. And selfishly in Montana this means the difference between driving him 6 hours one way for games and driving him 2 hours one way for games. They had a blast and they got better, thank you.

Hi Brandon,

I just wanted to thank you for the coaching you gave Cash at the Pro Ambitions camp in Andover last week. I feel your instruction helped him develop by leaps and bounds in just the span of five days, and I was also impressed by your very thorough analysis of not only his on-ice skills, but his attitude toward the game. Your report definitely gave him a confidence boost, and again, I appreciate the time you, Coach Jeff, and your other colleagues took to make him a better hockey player.

Best,

Mike Campanella

Jeff this the 2nd time I have been to a pro ambition camp. These guys and girls did a awesome job with the skaters in Chicago. This year was a great experience for my son. Please thank the whole staff. Coach John, Paul and Chris did an outstanding job both on and off ice. The communication was great also  hope I got the names correct

Thank you

John

Jeff,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for putting on such great camps, but more importantly for hiring such a knowledgeable, caring staff to run the. We have done your camps every summer in Scottsdale or Bensenville but this is the first time that we have done the shooting clinic. I am so impressed with the practical application of the shooting skills and drills. But again, the success of your camp is largely due to your staff. You are so fortunate to have Brendan, Phil and Christian. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids understand the instructions but more importantly make sure that the kids are practicing the new skills correctly.  Brendan in particular gave extra one on one time to the kids and my son owes the success of his new snap and slap shot to him.  He has a great way of working with kids and he has helped my son understand things that many other coaches could not.  I do not have enough words to thank you and your staff for the success of Landon’s Shot Doctor Clinic. I hope that the same staff returns next year!!
Sincerely,
Kirsten Wood

Dear jeff,

my son, gavin, just attended his second year of battlecamp and shot doctor clinic in bensenville, IL.  We came back the second year because of your coach there, phil bushbacher.  Phil has the ability to connect with the kids and remembered our son from the previous year.  He pushes kids to be their best and brings out their tenacity While UTILIZING positive reinforcements.  We will definitely be back for a third year!

Also we recommended 5 kids this year who all Fell in love with coach phil and his staff.  I am sure they will also be coming back next year.

My son has played at alot of Camps over the years and coach phil is one of the best out there.  He is a great asset to your organization and we hope to see him next year.

Thank you,
Joe

Hi Jeff,

Just a quick note to let you know we were very pleased with the camp last week.  We paid for the personal trainer for the second year in a row because Ryan was great the first year and we were hoping John would get as much out of it this year.  Turns out he got even more being a year older and knowing what to expect and Kevin Lind was phenomenal.  We had to pass on a tournament in Minnesota this coming weekend due to the amount of money we were spending on the personal trainer for last week’s camp and prior to going to the camp John was very upset about missing out on the tournament because he is a kid and wanted to play with his friends.  However, on the way home Friday, he said “OK that was worth missing out on the Minnesota tournament because Kevin showed me a lot mom!”  Not only did Kevin work with him but his constant feedback to me during the week was very appreciated.  Phil was once again very helpful and I’m sure you know he is a valuable resource.  We have to make quite a few concessions during the year to have the one on one benefit for John but so far it has been worth it.

Thanks,

Debbie

Mr. Serowik,

My son Luke just finished the week with your coaches. I was very impressed with the program and your coaches.  Unfortunately for my son, this will be the best coaching he will receive this year.  Your coaches were motivated and personable with the athletes. I watched all of the campers improve tremendously from Monday to Friday because they were willing to work for the coaches.  I could not ask for more.

Thank you,

Dan Jordan

Thanks for the info & your expediency! Super impressed with the operation literally the minute I pulled up. Bend over backwards type helpful, polite & thorough.

Grigson BU Parent

Hello,

My son attended the Battle camp in Reston, VA last week and I was waiting for a feedback survey but have not received one.  In the event Pro Ambitions does not send one out to the participants, I want to make sure you are aware that the staff did an exceptional job.  Head coach Ryan was amazing.  My son said that he was “good at teaching; he stayed with you and made sure you got the move/skill right.  He disciplined everyone and made sure they listened to the instructions and followed them.  He also corrected them right away.”

Ryan and all the coaches made the camp fun.  My son learned new skills and really enjoyed the camp.

Kudos to the coaching staff!

Laura Harris

Hi Jeff,

”Our son loved the ProAmbitions camps he attended. He rates them as the best he’s been to. Even though not a native English speaker he got well into the group and made many new friends. He cherished the professional coaches, the top exercises on/off ice, high tempo and that there were many coaches on ice. We recommend it to anyone interested in high quality camps (we’ve been to quite a few in Sweden and Czech Republic). A bonus is that the food was excellent at BU with many different choices.”

Wow, just completed one week of Defense with Jeff camp at Lake Tahoe. After 2 days my player was “sore to the core”. We loved the positive energy of the coaches and how they kept the players engaged and motivated with close up eye contact and encouragement. This is an elite camp and Talon will recover and we’ll be back. Thanks, Nick Langston.

Hi,

I am writing to say “Thank you” for the wonderful coaches you have for my son.

Yesterday my son accidentally left his lunch mondy in my car. When he called me at lunch I was in an meeting that I wasn’t able to leave to send him the money or a lunch. Coach Tim noticed my son didn’t have a lunch. He asked him and bought him one. We really apprciate his kindness and help! I did not have a chance to say “Thank You” to him in person today because my son wants to do it by himself (He is a big boy now). Please help me pass my sincere appreciation to the coach.

I am so glad that my son is with such a wonderful coach in the camp.

Thanks!

Xin Hepl

Jeff- Just got back home after a truly great week at BU.  I wanted to reach out and thank you for allowing Carter the chance to participate last week.  Your staff was truly amazing and he had the time of his life skating with those kids and coaches.  I stayed near by and popped into a few sessions to watch. The instruction and level of intensity was first class.

We live here in San Diego so he he and I will see you tomorrow at Carlsbad for the D camp this week.  I can honestly say the Hockey East week was definitely worth the time, travel and money we spent.  Just wanted to say thanks via email before we had the chance to meet you tomorrow.

Thanks again-

Scott and more importantly, Carter!

Jeff,
I just want to let you know how incredibly pleased I am with your goalie coach and staff! My son, Andrew, has had a fantastic time so far this week at goalie camp! He has learned so much! Your entire staff has been helpful, friendly, and professional!

Thanks,
Lyne Weir

Jeff,

For a while, I have been meaning to write a recommendation of your camps.  As it turns out, I’m glad I didn’t.  With the benefit of time, I’ve been able to see the huge impact these camps had on my daughter’s play and her development.  My strong and sincere recommendation of your camps and your instruction is more valid today, as I have watched her make tremendous progress as a result of her time with Pro Ambitions.

My daughter, who attended many of your Battle Camps, Summer Camps (BU, Kent), and her favorite, Defense with Jeff, made the USA National Development Team camp for four straight years and will be attending a top-ten D1 school to play in college.  Her development has been driven substantially by the fundamentals she learned at your camps over the years.  As I watch it all come together, now that she is almost 17, I can see the great and positive impact of the Pro Ambitions camps and instruction on her skills and understanding of the game.

Enthusiastically and unequivocally, I recommend Pro Ambitions to young hockey players and I highly recommend that they start with the camps early and attend frequently over time.  What they learn from you and your staff has become an immeasurable lifetime benefit, not just on the ice, but as a person and competitive athlete too.

Jeff, a million thanks to you and your staff.  Well done!

Thank you for letting George jump into the camp on Wednesday. He had a great time again this year. He really thrives off of all the hard work you push the kids to do,and enjoyed the week as a whole.

Your camp is very organized, and everyone can tell that you work hard at making it that way. Thanks again for letting George participate.

The whole program was a positive experience. You taught them things that usually you don’t think about – you just do it. If that makes sense at all.

You taught us (the parents) things as well too. During games for the boys they would pretend you were out there with them reinforcing things that they should do. Ha Ha I would definitely recommend this program to anyone – you really have a way with kids!!

I wanted to let you know that we are very satisfied and would recommend your clinc to everyone and we have, John has become a much better all around player since being tutored by you. I believe that the sunday morning sessions helped John make the N,H. select team and the Spartans. He has become a more defensive player which makes his mother proud, since he has always had more ability to play offense. John attacks the puck more and does not let the opponent have it. I appreciate your enthusiasm and your high energy for every early Sunday morning practice it made for an intense practice which kept John’s interest and he did not want to miss one Sunday.
I just hope that he remembers everything that he has learned and continues to incorporate into his play. I was wondering if next year John could possibly come back once a month or so and we could pay you by session? This would help him to continue to be a more rounded player. John will see you at Kent’s Hill this summe

Just wanted to let you know my son really enjoyed his week of Pro Ambitions at Pingree. I also wanted to extend my special thanks to Coach Vinnie for looking out for Kyle; his care was “above and beyond” and should be commended. I attended the final cup game, and despite the obvious exhaustion, everyone was having fun.

I hope to scrape together the money to send Kyle next year, but with my 3.5 year old daughter dying to be a “hockey girl” it may be tough. But rest assured that if we don’t enroll next year, it’s not because we didn’t like it, it’s a money thing.

My son Kevin Peduto just finished camp with you this week in Marlboro.

I just wanted to let you know that he had a great time. He said it was “awesome”! Thanks for making it such a great experience for hi

First I would like to say it was great getting to meet you up in Falmouth Maine this summer. I enjoyed talking to you. I just wanted to let you know that Garrett made the Pee Wee AA team this year at tryouts for our competitive travel league. This was quite a feet considering this is his first year at Pee Wee’s. I think your camp has been a great prelude to our tryouts.

Once again thank you,

My husband and I could not be happier that our son Matt attended your AAA camp in Kents Hill, Maine. It made an incredible difference in his understanding of the game. This has translated into a now incredibly aggressive and talented player. He is now on the Squirt 1 team and performing beautifully! We are thrilled to see the difference. We did not see this after any other camps – only yours.

We are very interested in having him continue to work with your organization. Please keep us posted on any ongoing camps. He will definitely be returning to Kents Hill. He loved that camp!

I just wanted to say thank you. Your clinic is awesome. I have never seen Christian so excited to go to a clinic. Usually I am having to drag him out of the house. He wants to go to your day clinic in August and his goal is to go to the boarding camp summer of 2005! I have never been more proud of Christian in hockey then I was to see him working hard in a clinic! It really means a lot to us to see him so happy and proud of himself!

Thank you again
Katrina and Ben Forgrave

Oh and Christian wants Joe Sacco to know that he thinks he is a really great coach too!

Just wanted to tell you what an unbelievable week my son joey had at hockey camp this week, he LOVED IT!! my husband stayed on monday & felt that it was the best he ever saw & that nothing could compare, Joey & his friends had a ball& learned a lot, they loved Chris, Kim & Dave, they had regular hockey practice after & the 4 boys that went to the camp had huge smiles on their faces till 7:30 tonight!!!! we are all hoping that you come back to superior next year we all really want to do the camp again, & we are telling everyone we see what an awesome camp it was, thank you again for giving joey a wonderful experience, please tell Chris , Kim, & Dave thank you for the great job they did, they inspired the boys!!! we hope to see you again next year!!!

Just wanted to let you know my son,Matt and I were extremely impressed with our first Proambitions experience.Matt recently attended camp #56,Dec.29-Dec.31,at Phillips Academy.I was thinking that 3-4 private lessons with you,in Middleton, would be beneficial to Matt’s defensive improvement-specifically defense directly in front of net (he may pinch in to close) and overall defensive game strategies.,with you!!!Your camp was awesome!!!

First off thanks again for this week.TJ has had a blast, and Ty has loved his couple of days on the ice as well. While talking to Kim she asked about Tyler and commented that he was a great player for his age.The question came up about his coaching thru the years.I told her that the only coaching he has had in the last 3 yrs is the coaching that he got from you and your camps. This is a true testimonial that to be the best you learn from the best.

I told her that he was a true product of Proambitions. For that i thanked her.The biggest thanks goes out to you.It goes to show that you never cease to amaze me that i don’t know how you do it but you get the BEST people in the world.Keep up the awesome work.See you soon.

Wanted to drop you an EM to let you know how much my three boys enjoyed the camp in Orleans. I was particularly impressed with the ability to manage kids of different ages and ability as well as the pace of the sessions and emphasis on skill development and fun.

Your staff did an incredible job this week. Not only prof. and structured, but extremely caring of the children. My daughter whom you blessed with this opportunity, blossomed before my eye’s she soon left my side on the ice and was off with your staff playfully and working hard to learn and better her skills which over the week she did!

Your camps are second to none and I will personally continue to impress upon other’s the benefits of learning from the best, YOU!!!!! Jodi Gourgouras-mother
and always ready to help such a group of professionals as yourselves. See you in Marlbourough!

My son attended your “Battle Camp” up in Falmouth Maine the last week in July, an I attended the whole week as a coach and a dad…and what a good job they did with the kids.

This is the third year in a row we have gone to a different camp, and this has been the best so far…even better than the Camp up in Toronto.

The off ice training was well done and hard enough to get the players attention. The on ice AM drills were very good and used the ice as a whole. While the group was not large, about 30, the instructors kept the kids busy and focused. All and all my son learned a lot and had a great time, good job..and we will plan on seeing you again next summer.

When will you have a schedule out for 2007..do the camps pretty much run about the same time each summer??

Thanks again.

Just a note on the recent camp my two sons attended in Clifton Park. It was outstanding! I had the opportunity to watch 2 days of it myself. The drills, staff and professionalism of the program were just what my sons were looking for. (High level hard training, fun and competitive) They were asking if they could come back for two weeks next year before it ended.

Your staff was exceptional! Their genuine interest in developing each player to a higher level was much appreciated. We will definitely be back next year. Please keep us on your mailing list.

My son Yasin attended your camp at Pingree last week.He had a wonderful time and plans to return next year.He is a veteran of many camps since he was 7 years old and he had only good things to say about the instructors and the program. He would have loved to have had another week.

Thank you for the great experience

Just a note to thank you for the great goalie camp our son, Ryan McQuaid attended this past August @ Kents Hill School. Ryan is from Scarborough, Maine and my husband Jim called you earlier in the year to explain to you that after a very disappointing year with the Huskies program Ryan was going to transfer to Casco Bay and try out for their travel program. In order to be his best and feel well prepared he attended your goalie camp. Ryan worked very hard and came home TIRED but feeling like he learnt a lot. He is a very determined and goal orientated young man. These traits along with your camp proved to help Ryan attain his goal as he made Casco Bay Tier 1 travel team. We as his parents are thrilled as we saw him so disappointed over and over again (almost ready to quit hockey his favorite of many sports) last year and promised to help him in any way we could have a better year. We took care of getting the transfer and he took care of the hard work to be the best he could. We want to thank you for having such a great camp which helped Ryan improve. Along with his passion and drive he attained much more than we anticipated. We look forward to a great year of hockey with Casco Bay. Just thought you would like to hear some positive feedback and our heartfelt thanks! Our best to you and your wonderful staff,

This is the best camp he has ever been to. I have taken him to several other full day camps in the past and really have not noticed a difference. After your express camp my son looks like a different player. He really enjoyed your camp. I notice much more confidence too. He loves the sport of hockey. You have made a great deal of difference. I/we look forward to your camps in the future. I will be sure to send my younger son next time too. Thanks to you!

Also, my son saw Mr. Assist at your camp and wanted one. Can I order this through the mail?

My son absolutely loved your camp. He worked his butt off, and loved every minute of it. His initial reaction was “everything was perfect.

Good coaching, good balance between skating, stickhandling, shooting, checking….just perfect. Can I go every week?”. He couldn’t think of any improvements at first. Then, when pressed, he came up with more hours, more days, add off ice discussion of the “why”, one on one evaluations/time with the coach, and video critiques.

I thought the camp, from what I saw and heard, was excellent. Your staff was upbeat, very good at reaching out and connecting with the kids (spying a hat – you play for the Jags? What position? How’s your season?) The drills were very well organized and executed, with good, immediate feedback to the small groups and real time corrective action, which is priceless. I’ve never understood why there isn’t off ice discussion on the whys and hows, but I know nothing about hockey.

So save me a spot for Pingree in the summer…….we’re fans.

Thanks for the feedback request, I was going to drop a note anyway. I had emailed a quick note prior attached to your snow policy.

Overall I think it was a GREAT week.

We had told other parents / kids how much fun and how good the defense clinic was that Dominic attended during Christmas vacation. (Jeff made room for us). For this clinic Nic was with 3 other 96 Outlaw kids from his team.
All our kids had a GREAT time, stayed at each others houses, played and practiced together between clinic sessions. They all learned a great deal, especially the toughness required and the physical aspect of the game. What they learned has been displayed in their game output since the clinic. It was very challenging, they all came off the ice soaked in sweat and with big smiles on their faces. Jeff and the entire staff was Great. I typically ask Dominic to shake hands and thank the coaches after practices and games. When Nic shook hands with Jeff and the staff, they called him by his name and responded very positively. This type of treatment is very instrumental in the growth of kids at that age I believe. Being a USA hockey level 4 coach and head coach, I may have more appreciation for how you conducted the clinic than some, but great job.

We will come back to every clinic possible.

Just wanted to let you know how much Jonathan enjoyed your camp. This is the first time he came home from a camp that he really enjoyed. He usually is not impressed and he usually tells me that he did not learn much from other camps that he has been to but, he had nothing but good things to say about your camp. He told me that he definitely wants to return next year.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how impressed I am, as well as, a number of other parents with the coaching staff and the camp that has been going on at Mennen sports Arena here in New Jersey. I am one of the Head Coaches for the NJ Colonials, Mennen is our home rink so there is a huge contingent of Colonials in the camp, and let me say the kids are getting a lot out of the camp. The Coaches are extremely knowledgeable, organized, efficient, and above all else….caring. They are making it fun for everyone. Already some of the kids, including my son, are asking their parents if they can do Pro Ambitions next year. Being a hockey player, Head Coach, and an instructor in a local hockey school I have to say I really like the battle camp philosophy and I think it seems to be taking hold here in NJ.

Good luck to you and your staff…..

My son Todd just finished your battle camp in NJ last week. I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you that the staff that ran the camp were the best I have seen. Todd skated with peter collins as his direct instructor and I believe brian ran the camp. The curriculum exceeded my expectations, and i believe that todd took a tremendous amount away from his week with your staff. I will be attending future pro ambitions camps either here or in mass. I would only hope that one day the owners of our rink are interested in hosting your camp at our home ice, the red bank armory, in NJ. I have already advised the people at red bank to contact you, but if you would like to contact them yourself, I would be happy to provide the contact information.
You have a great product, and Todd has already started to apply his newly learned techniques in his most recent hockey game.

Mikee chatted the whole way home and it took us 45 minutes just to get out of the airport parking lot! This is L.A..He had a great time. Wants to return next year. But aside from all that I wanted to take a minute and personally thank you for all the effort you gave my situation. I’m heartfully impressed with your work.

Thanks again. Talk to next summer.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, Although we have been to only two of your camps we have seen an improvement in Ty immediately. By far the one that has affected him most was the offense/defense camp.

I like that the boys are always been pushed, there is no “dead time” and no matter how many kids are on the ice no one is overlooked by the coach.

Ty has been in other camps were there has been a big turn out and he might gotten to interact with the coaching staff possibly once.

But, with your camps he has had the opportunity to interact with his instructors and be corrected on a one to one basis.

Thank you for everything you have done for youth hockey and we are looking to March.

My son, Erik Thomas, always thought that he was a good hitter, but Nick showed him how to have better balance, and he can’t wait to show his skill, I just feel sorry for his victim. I’m sure you will see him next year.

My son, Matt, just finished up the Progressive Skills Camp in Hingham last week. Your camp was excellent!

Matt skates a lot and has done numerous camps; however, your camp was different. Matt worked hard and had such a great time with Anthony Aiello. Anthony was such a great motivator and teacher. Matt left Pro Ambitions with a huge amount of respect and admiration for Anthony. As a parent, I could not have asked for a better role model for my son. In addition, my high school classmate (and your college classmate) Larry Rooney did an excellent job the final day. Both deserve huge pats on the back.

You run a first class operation Jeff. Matt can’t wait to come back next year. Below is a nice picture of Matt & Anthony. Feel free to use it if you want.

Henry just finished the Falmouth Maine Battle camp and really enjoyed it very much. The coaches, particularly the head coach (Graham) and Coach Mike L from the Portland Pirates were Excellent. Henry also liked the coach (Scott – I think his last name begins with M) who wore a Sacred Heart University t-shirt very much. Together they had the perfect blend of firm command with a smile!
Henry gave the camp an overall rating of “Excellent.” He even woke up this morning rather disappointed that camp was over. That said, we’ll definitely be signing up again next summer for another Pro Ambitions Camp.

Thank you again and please tell all of the coaches “great job.”

My son had a blast at your camp last week even though he said he had to work hard. I was not able to attend as much as I would have liked but he did tell me how much he learned and that Friday was the thrill of his life. He told me he broke his stick which was somewhat new and got to use yours. He bragged to all his friends and family about getting to use your stick. I want to apologize for that as he has been told to always bring 2 sticks. He was a little upset he couldn’t keep it ( ha, ha ) just kidding. I will tell you that I did ask a lot of parents who I knew that were able to attend and watch were very happy with the training that their children received compared to other camps that they had attended. I did mention yours may not be the best but it’s the best i’ve seen. I want to thank you and your staff for the special attention that they give to each child. I have always noticed that they are constantly correcting which you don’t get at most camps. My hats off to you and your staff. I just wished I could afford to send my son to more of your camps. He gets so much out of them.

I really don’t know what to say, but I’ll give it a shot.

The camp was outstanding and you exceeded not only my expectations but both of my boys. No bullshit, they came off the ice as different skaters, shooters and teammates. My wife was extremely tentative sending the “baby” there, but when she saw his face; tired but grinning, she was relieved. Needless to say both were asleep by 8:15PM.

Jarod, my 6 year old normally would complain about waking up at 6:30AM (The Shelton rink is an hour away), but he got up, not one complaint, and after 8 hours of “all hockey”, still smiles at the end of the day, he still wanted to shoot in the basement when he got home.

Manny, 9 years old, always loves any kind of hockey, but he truly loved this camp, no horsing around, 4 hours of ice time, 1 hour of off ice training and exercise, hockey skills movies and a talented and skilled group of coaches who understand how to handle and motivate even the cynic kid. By the end of the camp both kids were not only on a first name basis with the majority of all the kids (spanning all age groups) but with all the coaches as well. (They used “Coach” as a preface).

I wish there were more time in the summer to join your other battle camps. As true to your marketing material, what you promise, you get and then some. I would recommend your camp to anyone, except for players my kids would have to face. Worth every penny!!

Keep up the great work, and please thank all the staff from Camp #17.

My son Danny, spent last week at your battle camp at “POWERPLAY” in eagle pa. I wanted to let you know it was the best money spent on his hockey development yet. He worked harder and learned more about the game of hockey than he ever has in any hockey program. I was able to stop by throughout the week at different times and watch your coaching staff, JEFF, TODD .and MIKE work with each group and they were very intense and demanding of the kids, but also having a lot of fun . Danny who is 13 has been playing ice hockey for about 4 years and roller hockey for about 2 years before ice has learned more in 5-days about hockey, nutrition, and working out than ever before .Your staff spent all day with them and even explained what not to eat during lunch and snack break. You should be very proud of the coaches you sent down to eagle pa, to represent your company as they did a great job .Please keep us informed of any future camps or clinics you will be holding in our area and don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions or would like to use this as an endorsement for any camps you plan for our area.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your camp. My son Bryan, just finished your hockey camp at Phillips Academy in Andover for the defense camp. I have to say that when he heard that it was all day he was not happy about going, but he really enjoyed it in the end. He made a bunch of friends, even asked out one of the girls in his group ( I think that was peer pressure). We know he doesn’t really pay attention all the time so we told him after each day he would have to tell us something new he learned every day, which he did very well. I can’t wait to see him in a game and see if everything he was taught comes into play. And the group of coaches that you have working with you all seem like really good role models. Keep up the good work!!

Any information on the Fall/Winter Clinics yet? Just finished one in Marlboro last week in August, UNBELIEVABLE!!! My son really kicked it in gear! Great coach, great assistants, great training and messages from the gentleman who teaches in Cambridge. Thanks much.

My son Alex attended one of your Battle Camps this summer in West Concord. This is the second year that he attends, and both years have resulted in great improvement. I think it goes beyond just the skills that he’s been taught because now he has developed a sense for winning the little battles and not giving up. He better appreciates his ability for getting the puck whenever he’s around it. Some of that is probably maturity, but it’s also because it was a focus of your camp.

This season, after one particularly inspired performance, another parent asked me how many camps Alex had attended over the summer. After telling them he had attended just the one Pro ambitions camp, the parent said,”’Cause boy, he has really elevated his game.”

Just wanted to let you know that we’re very happy with the time (and of course $) spent on your camp. Keep up the good work.

I wanted to let you know that we are sooooooo happy with the results of this past summer!! The boys got so much better and it really shows. Alex got a hat trick on his travel game yesterday and Matt’s scoring too. We are looking forward to this summer.

I am interested in having my son attend your camp in Estero, FL again for the Defense camp. He will be 17 though and I know you have it listed for up to 15. I was wondering if he would be allowed to attend the camp again. It was the best camp he has ever attended for defensive players. Please let me know, so if he is allowed to participate I can book his spot.

FANTASTIC! Adam is a 2nd year pee wee and he’s feeling like he’s a little sick of hockey camps by now… except for yours!!!! He loves it and feels it is one of the few camps where he really learns a lot of new stuff. He will definitely sign up again this year. Thank you!

My son Ian attended your Battle Camp last summer when you were down here at the Ice Zone in Lake Worth, FL. Of the 6 or 7 weeks of hockey camps that Ian attended last summer, your Battle Camp was by far his favorite. I also think he got more out of your camp than all of the others combined.

Sorry for not getting this not to you sooner. I just wanted to thank you again for the attention that you gave Allie at your hockey camp. With her just starting to play hockey she could have felt really out of place and had a bad experience, by giving her one on one instruction she got a lot out of it and more importantly really enjoyed going. I know you didn’t have to do it, so I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated it.

Cam said he learned more at your camp in one day than he did over the entire hockey season and he does not want to miss the camp this summer. I am hoping that we can work something out so that he can attend a one week goalie session.

A lot of this has to do with your clinics and how much valuable information he takes from them as well as your notes. I cant tell you that countless dollars that have been spent on other clinics where I don’t see much come from them and furthermore, Kyle never really comments on them either. However, once your clinics are over he always makes the comments of how much he can actually take away from them.

This to me is worth every penny!

I can’t tell you how happy we are to have him go to your camp. We saw improvement in his skating after only a week of your summer camp last year. I wish he could do it year round

He loved the clinic he did over Christmas in 2006. Your camp was a turning point for him. He really started to want to play more and get better. Since I have been to practically every camp in North America, parents are always asking me where to send their kids. I am brutally honest when I assess the different camps and I always tell them that there are only 2 that I would completely recommend without any reservations. ProAmbitions is one of them. I really loved your camps and I hope to get back sometime.

Thanks for the email and all your help!!

Jeremiah came to your AAA Day Camp at Phillips Andover Prep two years ago. He also did a mini battle camp that same summer. We are coming to MA to visit family again this summer and I see the camp is in that same timeframe – 7/23 to 7/27.

Guessing you are full but any chance you might have room for an elite level 1994 west coast player who loved your camp and would love to attend again? He has said “best camp ever” and he has been to quite a few here in the Northwest and in Canada.

Thanks for hooking Karl up with the opportunity to do the D-camp and get the heartier challenge.
He had a great time as did his buddy Matt.

Matt’s father and I truly appreciated the attention they were given and admire your camps overall for their attention to detail. ProAmbitions always makes us feel that we are somehow a special customer and that keeps us coming back! This cannot be said for other organizations. I’m not big on referring hockey parents to specific clinics because, well, I’m sure you can imagine… but I always feel comfortable sending people your way because the quality is consistent and if there is a problem you fix it.

See you this summer at AAA, if not before.

Just a quick note of thanks, AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!! We were at the westboro rink the other night at yet another hockey game and a parent , who’s son plays with Tyler, asked how was it that Tyler was such a better skater and had a better shot than the rest of the kids he had seen. Of course I took no credit, except to say that we were blessed to have found such a great teacher of the game. He still works on those little things that will make him a better player in high school. Just as he was taught, now, many years ago. Deb and I say it all the time we cannot thank you enough……….. The father also added that he NEVER sees Tyler without a smile on the ice during a game. That too, was also something he has learned from everyone at any camp he went too.

PLAY HARD AND HAVE FUN

We don’t know how you do it year after year, you always have exceptional people In place . From instructors on and off the ice to every even behind the scenes they are all super people. Who to this day still say hello when we see them As the boys get older and continue to play at a high level , we will ALWAYS thank you for coming into our lives. As well as the many instructors and counselors who have made our boys into what they are today,

I was going to send an email as well.  Thank you very much for the positive feedback, it means a lot.  For the record, my kids have been raving about how much fun they had with you on the ice, in case you couldn’t tell from the grins on their faces when they got off the ice.  What a blast!! I will cut Mattie’s stick by the next session!  This is perfect, and exactly what we were looking for…

My son Travis just finished your camp in Lake Tahoe. Needless to say we were very pleased with EVERYTHING! Coach Dan, Coach Eric and the rest of your staff are awesome. They gave each athelete the individual attention they needed. Your hockey camp is by far the best Hockey Camp available. When the week ended, all my kid could say is “I can’t wait for the next Battle Camp!” He also said it was the most fun he has ever had on the ice. Thank you for giving him the hockey skills that he needs. I feel sorry for his competitors that miss your camp….thanks to you and Pro Ambitions, his opponents don’t have a chance!

“Jeff- The boys did an spectacular job at the Pelham, Alabama battle camp. Being from Walpole, MA, it was good to see some familiar “hard” hockey drills executed properly. Kids enjoyed it and Todd and his staff did a great job with all the kids!

You guys are the best, that is why we keep coming back – and we have referred at least 3 or 4 others who have now been to other camps of yours. Every one of them has thanked us for telling them about you and what you do. There may even be some new ones this year. We’re working on it. My business was built on exceptional service, results and word of mouth. I bet yours was too. Nothing beats someone telling you about a great experience they had, and we can certainly do that about Battle Camp, Defense Camp, and the Serowik organization in every way. There is no doubt in my mind that if we had not found you Ben would not be competing at the level he is today. We do appreciate it – more than words can say.

I wanted to thank you and your staff for a great camp.  My son Jake had a great time and learn alot.  I had the privilege of watch “on ice” instructions and  the interactions of the instructors and the campers.  I couldn’t have asked for a more complete program than what I witnessed from the camp.  Well worth the time and effort for that we spent during the week.  The biggest enjoyment that I got was watching my wife’s reaction to Jake going after the puck during Wednesday afternoon session.  She was completely surprised by his aggressiveness from skating to shooting.  Thank you again and we look forward to seeing your team again next year.

If possible could you extend congratulations from the Colacchio’s to both Anthony and Andrew (BC NCAA champs) from us……the boys have followed their college careers after meeting both of them through your camps…….and are proud to say they have been introduced and have worked with great kids like them. They deserve all the credit they deserve. On and off the ice they were both excited to see the success both have had at such a high level. Thanks to you and your remarkable list of instructors like Anthony and Andrew as well as a superb cast of talented and exceptional
role models we as parents are proud we chose to be associated with the Pro Ambition family….

I know that you have camp this week, but I wanted to send you a brief note while Vaughan’s camp experience was fresh in my mind. In one word, fantastic!

I cannot thank you enough for being flexible with Vaughan when he had to miss the Prep camp. Vaughan said that without a doubt, the BU camp was the best camp that he has ever attended. In spite of the fact that, “I think my legs are still over at the rink,” he said that he loved the tempo and intensity of the camp. Vaughan learned a ton and said that he feels much more confident and solid battling for the puck. In addition, he couldn’t stop talking about paintballing and going on the harbor cruise with kids from all over the world.

All in all Jeff, it was a fantastic experience that according to Vaughan, lived up to the write up on the net. Looks like you will have Vaughan back for Prep Ambitions at BU next year and now my 9 year old is feeling confident enough to go away to camp. You’d love him since he is planning to change his number to 33 when he is a Pee Wee so that he can hit and play like his idol Chara.

I wanted to say our son loved the Houston Battle Camp! Great coaching and I could tell all the hockey players enjoyed it!  Once we receive the evaluation I’m sure he will continue to improve on the areas needed. He looks forward to attend next summer..maybe at Lake Tahoe. Is there a place on your main website that we can put our recommendations?

Jimmy and I wanted to send you a note to thank you for such a great hockey camp experience for my son Michael and his friends.  They loved the camp!

We had such a good feeling from the moment we dropped the boys off.  The counselors you have were all more than welcoming.  And extremely helpful.  I personally met Evan – he was great.  Each of us heard such good things about your counselors from the boys.

Michael raved about the food.  Even giving me specifics on what he liked.  He told me the explosive training was hard though.

Since the camp, the boys skated together, we already noticed a difference. Will any of the same counselors be at the Rye Playland camp?  Will you be there? We look forward to sending the boys again next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience for my son Michael.

Thanx alot for the camp.  Molly said this was the best camp ever.  She came home and slept for two days.  Obviously she worked hard.  She will be back next year.

Just wanted to email you and let you know how good the camp was that my son (Matt Davis) just attended in Florida. Matt had a great camp and had the most fun that I ever seen him have before (he attends other camps all year around), we will definitely be back next year.  Jamie and all the coaches were real professionals and did a great job with the kids.
Job well done!

I just wanted to let you know that my son Jackson pronouced the Lake Tahoe camp the best hockey camp that he ever has attended (and he has attended quite a few).  Thanks for arranging such a great week for the kids.

Ian had a great time at your defense camp last week in Tahoe, and looks forward to attending another one of your camps in the future.

We were sorry to not be able to say good-bye before you had to leave. Ian was wondering if he could mail his Pro Ambitions jersey to you for your signature … he is very proud of having been on the ice with you.

Well, once again my son (Jonathan Spahr) had a blast! He was at BU last week in the defenseman camp and LOVED it! He said that after the first day he made lots of friends from all over the world and he learned so much! He said the food was awesome and his roommate was really nice. He said the drills were fun, the program was very well organized and he really enjoyed the paintball. He even saw one of the counselors from the Milton camp last year.

I am a single mom, raising two kids (they don’t see their dad at all), working 2 jobs and money is always tight, but it is so important to me that Jonathan gets every opportunity. It is paramount that he sees that he has options in life, that hard work pays off, and also through hockey he gets lots of mentoring from positive male role models (like the counselors at your camps). And last year he had so much fun at the Milton camp, and this year he had even more fun at BU. It was money well spent, and I am going to start saving now for next year! Its worth every penny.

Hats off! What you guys do is amazing! Keep it going!

Our 8 year son just completed this camp and was absolutely thrilled to have taken part in it. The ratio is exactly as stated in the brochure and this really makes a difference in keeping them focused – it was a hard grinding workout and that staff was absolutely awesome with those kids. Evan never complained once about the muscle soreness and couldn’t wait to get back on the ice each day. In his words “that was the best hockey week of his life” We will definitely sign him up next year and hope that Keith Kirley and staff are back next year.
The Torbicas

Jeff, just a follow up from the Girls battle camp at Marlborough, my daughter Avery was extremely happy with the camp, the coaches were excellent and the program well run, thanks for a great experience.

I wanted to write to you regarding the Pro Ambitions Battle camp my two boys participated in this past week at Phillips Andover (8/3 -8/7). I had friends who sent their kids through your camp and were impressed…so, I decided to try it for the first time this summer. Vincent O’Connor did a great job…as did the other instructors. My boys have tried many camps over the years. I was impressed with the level of energy and the constant interaction by the instructors. The skaters were put in groups appropriate with their level of skill and were challenged based on that level of skill. They were given feedback and made to start over if they didn’t understand what they were asked to do. The instructors always had a smile on their faces. I have been to too many camps where the instructors could care less about the kids…they were only concerned about passing the time by talking to one another and hitting the puck against the boards…which ended up being a waste of my time and the boys.

Hello – My daughter participated in this week’s Mini PA Camp in Andover, MA (Aug. 3 -7). She had a terrific time and I wanted to pass on myappreciation and thanks to the entire coaching staff for the great experience. Del was the weakest skater in the group but the coaches always gave her encouragement, extra help and a kind word when needed to prevent any frustration on her part. Her skating improved daily as did her confidence. We did not get to see all the coaches before we left so please pass our thanks on to Vince and his entire staff for the week.

Jeff your camp was wonderful! My son enjoyed it and at the same time learned a lot of great skills. Your staff was very supportive and set a great example for the players. We will spread the word about our great experience.

Just wanted to say that we have found your write-up/articles very informative and helpful. My son has read them and so have we and the “Keeping your Head in the Game” article has been extremely helpful and often we have Matt re-read before games. I have also passed it along to many other parents and they too have found it helpful. A previous coach of my son’s who also coaches high school hockey passed it along to some of his high school players and they too found it helpful. When kids hear advice from a person of your hockey stature it carries weight and at least in my son’s case he takes the advice to heart and learns from it, so thanks for all those great articles on your web site!

A BIG thank you to you, the counselors, the coaches at Pro Ambitions for making last week’s camp so successful for Maddie. I am very grateful and most appreciative to you ALL.

I just picked my Son Evan up from the Kents Hill camp yesterday. In just a few days I could notice a big improvement in his skating and I wanted to thank you and your other instructors for that. I wish I would have been able to keep him up there for the second week.

Greg just completed his week at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Faribault, MN. Wow, what a week. Do you have a listing of the coaches that participated? I have taken some photos and would like to properly identify them. Greg earned the jersey for his week of hard work and work ethic. We would like to personally thank the company for that also. Greg will be featured in our local newspaper telling his ‘hockey story’. You can be assured that the Pro Ambitions Battle Camp will be spoken of in high regards!

I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding Pro Ambitions camp that you and the rest of the coaching staff put on in Faribault this past week. It was without a doubt one of if not the best camps Braden has ever been to. Thank you once again!

Hope all is well…It’s been a while since we talked but I wanted to touch base with you following the Scottsdale, AZ camp last month. My son had a great time and learned a lot. He commented daily about the fun he had and how he thought it was making him better. Ron was great with him and offered me the opportunity to get on the ice with the kids. While only for a few of the sessions I enjoyed working with him and appreciate the opportunity.

Just wanted to say thanks and I wish you well this season.

My name is Andy and I thought I would take a minute to write you and let you know about the great experiences that my two children have recently had with one of your staff and his many camps.

I have a son and a daughter who have been attending Battle Camps since last February Vacation, in Norwood, MA! It was there that my two children met Coach Dave G. and they have been raving about him and his camps since. So much so, that both of my children have been doing private lessons with Coach Dave all summer and just last week they both completed the full week Battle Camp in Foxboro, MA! Jeff, I can not say enough good things about Coach Dave and his staff and they way they conduct things and interact with the kids. They have given so much to my children in the way of confidence, skill, patience, mentorship….It simply has been one of the best hockey experiences that we have had, and we have done many programs! I have and will continue to mention your programs and Coach Dave specifically, to as many hockey parents I come across!!

I cannot thank you enough for the week we had at camp! Kaden worked his butt off for the instructors, acquired new friends and a few blisters along the way. His improvement and love for the game has risen to a new level due to the camp. It is by far the most involved atmosphere you could ask for in a camp. To have kids aged 5-16 all on the ice and getting along is amazing. Age was never a issue for any of the kids. They all picked it up a ton.I also feel that I am a better coach for being involved which means a lot to me and my child. We were going to go to another this year, but our tryouts have approached us and we are off to the races with the Mite team.I look forward to a growing relationship with yourself and your staff and am a true believer in what you are trying to accomplish.

I want to thank you personally and let you know that I got a very enthusiastic report from my son, Michael about his experience at the Proambition Camp at Kent’s Hill. From what I hear, he improved and my husband said he feet were the quickest he had ever seen. I will lookfor more programs run by your group. Perhaps there is something that helps kids get ready for high school try outs? I am delighted that Michael had such a good time. He is already talking about going back next year and I hope that we will be able to send him.

I just wanted to let you know that my son, Wyatt Dilling and his friends who did your camp a couple weeks ago in Vail thought it was the best hockey camp they had ever done. Thank you, and hope you come back to Vail next summer.

Jeff – Good morning. I’ve been meaning to write you regarding my kids’ experience at the Battle Camp in Vail Colorado earlier this month. Peter Thompson from Providence told me about your camps and had said that his son Charlie gone to one or two and loved them. My two boys signed up for the day camp at Vail in mid-August and truly had a fantastic time. They both improved noticeably and they both had a great time. There were no mornings when one of the two tried to bail-out. I attribute this to your curriculum and the great job that Derek Lalonde did. He was fantastic – knowledgeable, supportive, approachable and in charge. On top of that the kids he recruited to help were uniformly great kids. Long story short, we’ll be back next year.

I just wanted to reach out to you say Thank You. My son Owen had a great time and learned a lot at your camp this summer. Coach Vince and his crew did a great job teaching the kids and running through your unique blend of competition based drills. It is exactly what Owen need going into his first year of mite travel.

Owen’s parting words to his coach were “I want to come back next year!” Your program did exactly what it said on the website. Thanks!!

I just had to write a quick email and thank your coaches at the Natick and Concord summer day camps for their incredible job coaching, training and teaching my 3 sons this summer!

I wanted to let Pat, and Kelly and the other coaches know that my youngest, Joseph (6 1/2 years old) made the local Mite A team!! His brother Robert, (8 1/2yrs old) also a Mite A, and a goalie for Assabet Valley, was a little shocked as were the coaches during tryouts! Joseph’s speed, skating ability, and stick handling shocked all of them, and he shrugged it off and told them “It was all the fun hockey drills at camp this summer!”

Thanks for teaching the foundamentals and teaching the kids to love the game, and be independent! Look forward to seeing you all next summer! My older sons are already trying to convinve us to send them to Kents Hill for the boarding camp!! Great job, you should be proud of your amazing coaching staff!

Thanks so much for this (“No Crying in Hockey” newsletter). It really shows that Pro Ambitions is more of a family than a business. You clearly care a great deal about the development of young athletes, so much so that you take the time not just to advise the kids but their parents as well. Sharing this personal story of your family connects those of us who participate in your camps more closely with you, though some of us have never met you. As a parent, I feel connected to something more than “just a camp.” I am connected to a very rare person.

My boy Peter is only 8 and plays in goal. He was a day-camper at the URI goalie camp and LOVED it. He has even started talking up the camp to friends on his two teams here in NYC.

Thank you for building a more meaningful experience for the parents and kids. Thank you for your time, energy, and concern for the development of all those who you coach.

I just wanted to take a minute and share some great news my son received yesterday. For the first time in several years we had enough kids to have two Pee Wee teams and try outs were required to determine the teams. Try outs were held Monday and Tuesday evening this week and my son received the news that he received the final spot on the higher level team. My son attended the Battle Camp at Kent Hills from 08/16-08/21. I truly believe this week of boarding camp made the difference between him making the “A” team and the “B” team. I should also note that my son played third shift defense on a 15 skater team during both his Squirt years. This year he will play second shift on the “A” team of 10 skaters. We hope to make it to another camp soon.

My grandson made the cut for the Eden Prairie, Bantam A team. Being a transfer from the South and being able to make this team is a big deal. I want to thank you for the training he received in your camps which without a doubt contributed to his current level of ability. I hope you will have a D camp in Minnesota sometime next summer.

Last summer, my son, travelled from Michigan to attend Battle Camp at Kettler Iceplex in Virginia. Of all the camps he has attended (and he has attended many), he felt that this one really helped to develop his skills the most. He would really like to attend again this summer but he is a second year Bantam this season. Is that alright?

I just wanted to drop a line and say Hi and hope you are doing well. I bet you are busy setting up camp. My son is going to do the skills competition in January, he is so excited. I loved Jeffs email about non-star players and star players, he has such a great philosophy. I sent that email to all our parent reps to share with their hockey parents and kids. I also got an e-mail from a mom I met in New Jersey and she mentioned how much more confidence her child has from just a few words that Jeff had spoken to him. Chandlers try-outs just finished he made the Pee Wee A team as a first year pee wee. What is surprising about that is when Chandler started checking at the battle camp it scared him so much he told me he wanted to be a goalie. During tryouts his confidence was through the roof thanks to the staff at pro-ambitions. Please consider me again this summer for camp, I look forward to seeing everyone again.

My daughter attended your Mini PA in Andover, MA this summer.  I constantly recommend the camp at her elementary school and our rink.  I cite it -and the great instructors – as the reason she was able to progress from ‘barely learning to skate’ to a Mite team in a matter of weeks.

My son attended your Phoenix, AZ camp last year and had a  blast.  There was a definite improvement in confidence and his  physical play is continually improving as the year progresses.  This  is first year as a Pee Wee and he has went from a Squirt B level to a  Pee Wee A level.  He has also made the change from forward to defense  because of his ability to play the body.  He shows no fear receiving a  hit and moving the puck and is an animal on the boards in a battle for  the puck.  You know something is going right when coaches from  opposing teams compliment his play.  This is a direct result from  attending your camp.

Thanks so much for your prompt replacement of the Battle DVD.  Not only is the DVD exceptionally useful, but your service is amazing too.  My son, Kabore, has watched the Battle DVD at least ten times in the two days since he got it.  Last night at practice I could see him using some of the techniques.  We’re both excited to get to your camp in August.

Paul misses your skill sessions.  My parents and I talk about that all  the time and how great you were to Paul and how much he learned and  developed.  The best skills program out there without a doubt.   Paul  truly looks up to you and myself and my parents will always be  grateful for what a positive influence your program was to Paul.

I just wanted to write you a short note and tell you home much my son. Zeke, enjoyed your ‘Defense with Jeff’ camp up in Andover a few weeks ago.

His coached had recently moved him back to defense and you can already see how his game has improved.

Thanks very much.

Jake has attended your camps the last two years in Tahoe…this summer he is bringing 4-7 of his teammates with him to the Tahoe camp in July.

Jake loved your camps, and has really bragged about you and the camp, so they all can’t wait to come!

Thanks Jeff,

Jeff you had emailed us a couple of weeks ago responding to an email we sent to Justin Nelson welcoming him to our rink and you mentioned possibly offering our team a discount to sign up for the Battle Program this summer.

My husband was hoping to keep this camp our secret another year, but I had to spill the beans when the other parents were asking me just what happened over the summer with my sons performance on the ice – they were all in shock and couldn’t believe that this was the same kid that played the prior year!

I’ve received your inspirational “messages” and newsletters over the years, and I have to let you know every time I read them I am grateful someone has put them in writing and forwarded them to hockey parents or anybody who cares about kids in general.  I truly believe in your philosophy.  Sometimes I think I’m the only person who actually thinks this way.  I am glad to see that I am not the only one.

My son has never played for Pro-Ambitions, but I’ve heard good things about you and your program from people.  For whatever reason, I get these emails, and I always pass them along to others to read.  And, after reading your messages, I always say that  I will have to email you and tell you that I appreciate your words.  So, finally I am emailing you.

Again, thanks for your words of wisdom.

First of all, I want to thank you for your emails.  Your dedication to the sport is outstanding but it is more than that I appreciate.  Your are into personal development of the players beyond hockey.  I love that.

My boys are Mites (6 and 8 years old).  They participated in your PA camp in Cincinnati last summer and I feel their development took off.  Yes, they both made the select Mite select team.

I am not sure if you send the tryout email every year, or to everyone, but I received one.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ! It was probably the best read in a long time !! You would think that having an older son go through this we would know what to do, but we were at a loss. Thank you for the guidelines. We appreciated it and again thank you ! 🙂

Thank you, Jeff, for your assistance and your quick reply.

I wish you had some way of knowing what a truly awesome adventure the camp was for my grandson. He had never attended a hockey camp before and from his stories and his progress, as well as the comments of other parents, I think he started at the TOP!

We just finished the Nashville camp (half day) last week and had a blast! His experience could not have been better. Ron did a great job with organization and made the camp fun for all the ages and levels – plus, I think that they all got better!

Hi! 2 things: My grandson, had a terrific time at the Pro Ambitions camp in Nashville last week. He had so much fun and learned a lot!! Thanks to everyone involved for a great camp.

Hopefully, Cam will be able to attend this amazing camp next year!

Just a quick note to let you know that we dropped off our son yesterday to your Vernon NJ camp (and mind you as parents… first time sleep away is a big deal) and we couldn’t have been happier with how smoothly it went!!!! Your team there was all over everything from the minute we pulled in to the minute we left!!! We are confident the week is going to be a great one!!! Thank you!!!

Just wanted to let you know that my son had a great time today at your battle camp. He said the coaches were fantastic and he learned more today than he did in the 3 days he did the “other camp” he went to last week. He is very much looking forward to the rest of the week.

I wanted to drop you a note and tell you what a great camp you’ve designed. My 9 year old son is in the Battle Day camp in Scottsdale AZ at the Alltel Ice den. Ron and the staff have done a marvelous job. As a hockey coach I can appreciate the amount of time it takes to plan, prepare and outline the on ice activities for 40 kids. After all that you still the proper execution to pull it all off. From the stands, the drills and stations were organized to perfection. I know it’s different at ice level, however I think USA Hockey should use this camp as example of the ADM in action.
I also asked Ron if you have your battle drills available to camp attendee’s? Are they available on a CD that I can purchase? Again I want to complement you and your staff for a great experience. My 9 year-old couldn’t wait to go to camp every day this week. That’s the true testament. We’ll be signing up for next year’s camp. Thanks for making learning the game fun.

My son is Joey is 9 as a squirt on a travel team in town. I have him at your camp in Scottsdale as we speak. He said to me on the first day of camp “dad this is the best camp ever!!” He has really enjoyed this camp all week.He and I are sad that it is ending today!! Your staff was very courteous/knowledgeable and the training SOOOO Valuable!! After a hard day of camp on Wednesday my son had a game!! As I am watching him play I noticed a change already of just 3 days in camp in his game. He was winning battles and getting to the puck faster and better than I have ever seen thus far. I hope this is just the start of things to come! Not to mention the hat trick he scored!! That was the least of it. I just think the exercise you guys provided and fun as well is very valuable to any young player!! Thanks and hope to see you next year!!!

Thank you for a GREAT camp this week at Skylands. David enjoyed the D camp and William enjoyed the Goalie camp a lot. The instructors were all top notch – they worked hard to teach and made it fun. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity and I’ll be sure to recommend your camps to hockey friends.

I am sorry, I forgot to mention how much he LOVED the camp and he is already talking about how he wants to come next year. Our younger son is also counting down the time he can go to your boarding camp because he has heard how much fun John had last week. By the way he had a ball with Coach Phil as well.

Thanks again, as a parent and this was Johns first sleep away camp you set the bar extremely high.

Thank you for all of your help with Peter….for the two weeks of camp….please pass on that he LOVED the camp…truly felt as though he tackled some of the skills that were giving him difficulty and seems more confident…..we will continue locally with some ice time so he can practice his skills…..thank you again

I just wanted to let you know that my son Luke had a great experience at the camp this past week.

The overall camp training was great and the instructors kept the skaters moving and working.

One particular positive should be noted for Nick Grassi. Lance was scheduled to play in a golf event and opted out to continue to skate for the last day of the week, and Nick was a large part of the reason.

Again, congratulations and thanks for a great week of skating and drills.

My daughter, participated in the hockey/surfing camp. She had NO previous hockey experience. She LOVED the camp, the counselors and the entire experience. Do you think the Kent Hills camp would have a similar feel?

Eric, Kevin and Colleen were extraordinary counselors and coaches. Eric especially went out of his way to help my daughter!!! You have a
great group there…. Before I sign Julie up for another camp I was curious of your thoughts…we are debating between Milton and Kent Hills…

I wanted to personally Thank You for an OUTSTANDING Camp. When I first signed Andy up for the Camp, I was impressed by the potential “Star Power” aspect of the Camp. My attitude rapidly changed after seeing your instructors working with the kids and especially my Son. Although the “Star Power” aspect of the Camp is a great marketing tool, it was your On/Off Ice instructors that thoroughly impressed me. The Bruins organization was a side note to what Andy actually got out of the Camp. I appreciate the time and encouragement your Staff supplied to Andy. On the way home, he asked me if he could do this Camp next year. I told him, if it is local, he will be there. Again, much praise to you and your staff as well as the effort put in by the Bruins Organization, especially Tom Songin.

Thanks again, I look forward to seeing you at Camp next year, and around the Rinks this Season. He feels this Camp has benefited him greatly and he hopes to lead his Team to the State Championships.

Thank you so much for a GREAT week, our son had the time of his life!!!! Pro Ambitions has a wonderful program, and having the Bruins get involved was so exciting for our son. I can not thank you enough for all the wonderful pictures from the week, this allowed us to feel like we were there.

I just wanted to Thank you again for ensuring Robert’s admission into last week’s Falmouth Battle Camp. It was a great week.He is a travel skater …2nd year Peewee. The counselors assessed that he should skate with the Bantam aged kids which was the perfect move for him.

He loved the camp and when he descibed the 1 on 1 competitive Battle skills …I could see why. He also received some great off-ice “core conditioning” that he is doing daily now. Hats off to the counselors. On Friday, I came to pick up Bobby and learned he received the warrior of the week award. He was very proud.

You should also know that he almost fell asleep at the dinner table on Friday night.

Thanks for a great camp.

My son attended your camp Defense with Jeff last week in Andover and it was fantastic! The drills were perfect for him and he really got so much out of it!! Thank you.

Jeff, I wanted to let you know that both my husband, and I were very pleased with the defense camp that was held in Andover last week. It was exactly the program we were looking for to have our nephew, Paul, attend. The instructors complimented the program you put together and knew what was expected of them. Both the instruction provided by you and your staff was very strong and applicable to game situations. We really feel this program has benefitted our nephew and look forward to him putting the info learned to use.

Just wanted to let you know that Jack really enjoyed your Defense camp. It was VERY challenging, and he got a lot out of it. At the end of Thursday, he commented that he could not believe the week went by so quickly, and he was sad to see it end.

Thanks so much for providing a great experience. I know I asked a lot of questions, but that was entirely due to a previous experience at another camp. This was certainly quite a different story. Jack and I were blown away that you drew kids from as far away as California and Alaska!

Hope to have him participate again.

I just had to say thank you again for camp recommendation (ProForma) and patience with my booking/cnx/new booking ..my son had a great time at Milton’s this past week.

Bonnie, you’ve been most kind and patient and I’m sure it’s a crazy time of year for you too.

Alden’s doing Battle camp next week and I’m sure he’ll continue to attend your camps..and we are encouraging others as well!

Jeff, just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for the opportunity given to Alex. He had a great week at the Proambitions performa camp at Milton Academy. He loved the instructors, he worked hard, had fun and made some great hockey friends! We look forward to next year.

Hi Jeff, My daughter Taylor just finished the camp at Milton Academy, thank you she got so much more than expected out of it. Taylor said is was an intense schedule but loved it. thanks

My son Halen just wanted to thank you for the Warrior stick he received the other day. He taped it up and used it at his first practice the other day. He said he could stick handle and shoot better with it. Thank you for the wonderful experience at the camp in Tahoe and we will definitely be doing it again. Take care and thank you again.

My son recently attended the Pro Ambitions Hockey camp in Verona WI. I a writing to let you know that it was the best camp that I have seen, and the coach was very inspirational, patient and took the time to TEACH the kids all of the drills. I will highly recommend this camp to any of the parents in our association. My son is highly motivated and excited for the new season, and we can already see an improvement in this years summer hockey program. THANK YOU for putting on a great camp! Please give my regards to coach Jamie, he is a wonderful coach and person.

As a side note, I am a coach for my son’s team and I was highly impressed with your drills and training program. I spoke with Jamie about possibly getting some copies of your drills, I feel that it would be extremely helpful to incorporate some of your drills in our program. Any information would be for my own personal use and I would not share any written data with any other people, as I assume it’s copyrighted.

Thanks again for your wonderful camp, and Kudos to Jamie (give him a raise!)

On a related note, he thoroughly enjoyed the camp. He said it was the best he ever attended. Thank you for understanding that having fun is important/necessary when teaching young kids. I enjoyed his enthusiasm every evening when he detailed his day at camp.

We’ll see you again next year. Thanks again

Thank you for the pictures and the wonderful experience for my 2 sons who participated. You know its good when a 10 and 12 year old actually tell you they think they learned a lot! And, the pictures have been such an added treat for us! Thank you!!!

PA/Bruins: Awesome camp!!!! My son did 5 camps this summer and this one was the best by far!!! You did an amazing job teaching great skills and keeping it fun!! Thanks!

It’s only three days into the week long camp, but I wanted to write and say how pleased I am with the Battle Camp here in Amherst, NY. My son, who is 8 years old, is raving about how much fun he is having while still skating and working hard. We has participated in many camps/clinics over the past two years and this is by far the best and most complete camp.

I also wanted to say what an excellent job Mark Mobus and the rest of the coaches are doing. They are well informed, energetic and are excellent with the kids.

Nice Job!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for providing such an excellent goalie camp in Andover. Ellis thought Mike and his staff were excellent and he wants to do it again next year. He is no the easiest kid to please and you should know that he was really, really happy at camp. He says that he learned a lot and is now applying it to his goaltending.

Thanks for the invite but Bryces travel practice is at that time; His skating has improved greatly because of the 2 camps he was in (Pro forma/Battle camp). Thank you. Please keep sending me the semi-private workouts he will start attending schedule permiting. Bryce has been to a few different camps and he always gets more from Pro-Ambitions. We know that this is the only camp for our son.

Thank you for all of your hard work to make this camp a success! Our son, Jake, had an amazing experience and will talk about the camp for the rest of his life! The pictures were beautiful and overall it was just a fantastic camp!

Thank you again for everything!

Thanks Jeff.

I have to admit — I am so impressed with how “hands on” you are with your organization. I have emailed you a couple of times now about little things, and you have always responded within a week.

It’s as if you are running a local camp or a mom& pop shop, yet your organization is huge — in just about every state in the nation. you must live on email!

Thanks so much for all you so for hockey loving kids (and their hockey loving parents!)

I just wanted to drop you a note. My son Colin attended your D w/Jeff camp at Kents Hill, ME last summer. It was his first boarding camp and time away from home. He had a blast at camp and bonded with you and the counselors. He came away with a great sense of playing hockey is much more than what happens on the ice. He made the top team in his age group. He is a leader on his team and is constantly battling. All the parents are asking what he did in the off season and say how great he looks. You may be a seeing some of his teammates next summer. He is looking forward to coming back to Kents Hill and maybe BU next summer.

I just wanted to drop you a note regarding the clinics.  My son enjoyed them very much and I feel he learned a lot, especially in the area of GAP control and body positioning.  When he took the ice in his first game after the clinic, I could see immediately an increased level of confidence and skill.

If he gained this much from the abbreviated holiday clinics, I can just imagine how much he would gain from a week long summer defense clinic.  We will be considering both the Battle and Defense this summer.

I hope the new year brings you and your family all that you deserve.

My son Tyler attended 3 of the five days last year in Brewer and had a great time. He never worked that hard in his life and improved immensely. This is the single best camp that I have seen. I hope we can skate with you in Alabama and Maine.

On another note, I meant to send you an email awhile back but it got buried in my memory bank. Cam really enjoyed your defenseman camp that he attended during Christmas vacation in Andover and he thought it was the best clinic that he has ever attended. He was worked hard and learned a lot. I can see that he has improved on gap control and his comfort level is higher when dealing with 1v1 and 2v1 situations. I just wanted to send on the good words and apologize that its 2 months old.

I wanted to say thank you for the great February vacation goalie camp my daughter attended last week. She loved it so much she jumped out of bed ready to go each day even though it was an hour earlier than normally for school. Her first game after camp (and only her third goalie game) the opposing coach told our coach she was the best goalie they faced all season. She learned a lot, but most of all had fun and enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thank you and your Phoenix (Scottsdale) team for having such a strong and positive impact on my son Ryan. He just returned home from his camp experience and he absolutely loved it. He made great and lasting friendships and developed a strong connection with his coaches. While he was dissapointed he was not awarded the ‘Warriors Stick’ it did not change his opinion of the program and he is eager to return next year.

He left his report in Arizona, but his grandparents are going to forward it so I look forward to seeing the coaches evaluations of his skill sets and the progress they felt he made over the week. Again, thanks for making the experience so positive for my son!

I wanted to pass on a quick note to Jeff. My son had a wonderful time at the battle camp in Hooksett, NH. Vinnie, Paul, Mike, Katie and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job at the camp. They were all great with the kids. They were knowledgeable, attentive , helpful and it was apparent that they enjoyed working with the kids as well. I have coached hockey for over twenty years , seen several hockey camps throughout New England and Canada and I enjoyed watching the system of teachings. In addition , I wanted to thank Jeff for the way he dealt with a situation that occurred with one of my older sons , in a camp in Maine a few years ago. Jeff brought something to my attention that I should have been more aware of. Both Colby and I are looking forward to our next experience with Pro Ambitions. If I can make it happen ,transportation wise, we are trying to attend the camp in Exeter, NH in another week. Thank you.

My 11 year old son, attended your defense camp in Lake Tahoe and last week and it was a great week for him! He already wants to come back next year! He will be a first year pee wee and has never been afraid of hard work, but this was by far the most intense training he has gotten! He was SOOOO tired the first day, but raring to go on Tuesday morning! We made this into a family vacation (we live 5 hours away) so my husband and I stuck around for the ice sessions. We were impressed by your talks during the time the Zamboni would be out on the ice, especially talking to them about grades. My son is an A/B student, but of course…hates to do homework just like most kids his age. But every time he hears someonebesides us telling him the importance of keeping up his grades, I know it only encourages our efforts and plants that seed in his mind for the future!

All the coaches seemed to be really good with the kids and we even pointed out to him that working for an organization such as this one could be a fun “job” if the opportunity ever presents itself! We have Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams in our town (Fresno Monsters) and have billeted 4 players so far and are planning for another this season. It’s been a great experience and is just one more insight into the world of hockey and what the future could hold for him if he chooses. That’s why taking advantage of camps such as this one (he did your Battle Camp in Fresno last summer also) is so important to his development and keeping options open to him.

Thanks again and we look forward to camp next year! Have a great summer!

I wanted to reach out to you and tell you what an incredible job John Varga and his team in Illinois did during the camp at The Leafs Center.

My son- is a 1st yr Squirt and we are very selective when we pick camp’s for him. I happen to come across Pro Ambitions this past winter while researching on-line. As I read through your website and watched video, I quickly realized your camp was different. For this reason, we decided to attend and we are so glad we did. My son learned many new skills, gained confidence and made some friends along the way. The instructors were skilled, patient and offered honest feedback.

Thank you once again for this incredible camp; we will definitely be back next year.

I thought I’d drop you a line and tell you how impressed we are with the Battle Campthat has been going on this week…very well run and very unique…it has agreat flow to it…..had we have known how good it was going to be we wouldhave scheduled differently and done both weeks….my son (Evan) has come home raving about the drills…..Thanks again

Just wanted to thank all of you, for the past week. Both Amanda and Brian have been having a great time, and have been very challenged!

Thank you very much for the extra time your group has been putting in with them, because they told me Wednesday night, that it was thebest day of camp, that they ever had, anywhere! And, yesterday they said they are learning some new stuff and really having a good time!!!!

Thanks again for putting in the extra time and effort with these two; and, if there is someplace I can leave a positive review for thecamp, please let me know.

Again, thank you so much!!!

Thank you again for another great week of Battle Camp. I just picked up Stav and wanted to let you know that he wants to do two weeks next
year….and that we plan our family vacation around your camps. I do hope you will be in the area in the Winter and Spring as in years past,
eventually I am sure you’ll see him as a boarder. He had a great time, I think he loved every minute of Battle Camp.

Thanks to you and all the coaches, they were really great.

My boys have come home happy and exhausted each day from camp. They have rated it the best camp they have ever been to. Both boys have Tryouts on Saturday and went to bed worried they are going to be too tired to perform well if they skate tomorrow. If they wake up tomorrow feeling differently I’ll bring them by. If not thank you for a great week! We hope to see you again next summer.

I just wanted to thank you and your team for the great experience that my son, had at last week’s Bruins Summer Camp. He has participated in a number of top flight summer hockey camps over the last two summers, but I have not seen such a level of improvement in his skills during the course of one week. He really embraced the battle philosophy and the extent of his improvement is a real credit to the camp’s structure as well as the high quality of all of the instructors. He is already calling Pro Ambitions his favorite experience, so we will look forward to future experiences at Pro Ambitions.

Best money I ever spent on this camp.
Your instructors are the best.

My kids attended the Battle camp at the Ice Vault in Wayne NJ last week. To spite their comments that it was the hardest camp they’ve ever been to, they want to return next year. Hats off to your team running the camp. They were very organized and professional and managed to make the camp fun even though they were kicking the kids butts. My kids have been to many camps —-this one is at the top of the list. Again, hats off to your team.

I just wanted to send a quick note to say that once again you guys ran excellent camps this summer… John Bowkus at LIC w/ the Prolux and you at the Defense camp at Bensenville.

Megan B. and Gehritt deserve special mention as well. Brett has now worked three camps with Megan and not only does he love working with her, but the ‘from the stands’ view it is clear that she is not only a talented hockey player, but has a knack for coaching that is evident. Gehritt also stood out…which is tough to do because all of the coaches are so good.

There was clearly an ice issue at Bensenville that was apparently sprung on short notice, but under the circumstances, I thought you guys did a good
job at dealing with it as quickly as possible.

I won’t spend a great deal of time commenting on the on ice aspects of the camp because it is clear that you guys know what you’re doing, and do a great job. But I wanted to take a minute to comment that it is also the small things and the off ice, non-hockey related aspects like having the kids sit in their groups at lunch to build a little camaraderie that also separates you from the other camps offered.

For what it’s worth, while at both camps I heard several that were observing and had not signed up commenting how good it looked and that they’d wish they’d signed up and will be next year.

As for us, we will definitely see you again next year.

Great job.

My son and a couple friends just attended hockey camp in Faribault, MN, and I cannot even begin to express how impressed we were with it. We would like to purchase some items from your online Pro Shop and were just wondering if the black t-shirt sizes are youth or adult.

Our son, attended your camp Pro Ambitions in Plymouth, MA last week.

What a camp! He loved every minute. He felt he got specific direction, encouragement, and development. He came home to Houston highly motivated and geared up for his upcoming season in Houston. He also won the Camper Warrior Award and just feels honored by the recognition.

We would love to thank Coach Jack, but did not get his contact information. Is there any way to get his info or email? He asked that Wes keep in touch with him but we neglected to get his info. We did get Mike Hoffman’s info, and he was amazing to Wes!

Thank you for all you do with these kids! Great camp and Wes will be back!

Kind Regards

Thank you so much for suggesting the New Jersey camp for my son. He has been working so hard to catch up since he stared so late for this sport. He had a great time, he loved Rocky and all the other coaches and said he learned a lot. We got home Friday night and he went to play pick up Saturday, he said he didn’t realize how much he learned until he was on the ice in the game. I think it is awesome that you do these camps and provide this opportunity for them to better themselves.

Thank you again and hope to see you in the future.

My son Nicholas attended the Hocrosse day camp in Kents Hill Maine last week.
Nick had a great time!! Also, his counselor – PJ (from Long Island) was a wonderful mentor, coach and counselor…
Thanks for providing Nick with great hockey+lacrosse instruction + lots of fun!

Jeff: my son attended tour camp in Maryland for the second year in a row and as the parent of a 7 year old mite who will be playing at the squirt level next year, I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with skills and approach that were conveyed throughout the week. As the coach of his team, I purchased your video in hopes of incorporating some of your drills into my regular practice plans.

Just a quick note to let you know what a great week my daughter Molly had at your camp in Maine 2 weeks ago. She is still talking about it and asked if she could do both weeks next year. She went to 3 hockey camps this summer. She said that Pro Ambitions was the toughest camp she has ever gone to and the most fun. She told me that she really improved and had a blast doing it.

Thanks for running such a great program.

My name is Fred and my son just finished your second session in Kents Hill. We live in Wisconsin, but I grew up in Maine. He has been to a lot of hockey camps. Shattuck St Mary’s, Andrews in Prince Edward Island, Planet Hockey, Total Hockey and Turcotte just to mention a few. This was his first boarding camp so I did a lot of research on what I thought would be the best camp. I know he was a little nervous as we drove to the camp, but that didn’t last long.

The instructors were great right from the start. My parents live 90 minutes from Kents Hill so I got to watch some of the skating sessions. When the week was over we both agreed that Pro Ambitions is the best hockey camp he has attended by far. It was a true hockey camp, that left him exhausted every night. He has had 2 years of PeeWee’s but this was the first time I saw him checking with the proper technique. It really made a difference the way he battled every time the puck went in the corner. Whether the kid was 5 feet tall or 6 feet tall he found a way to come out with the puck.

I know we all want our kids to have fun at camp, but to have a blast and bring your game to another level is a great thing. For next year he has all ready said this is the only camp he wants to attend. A lot of the boys were talking about the BU camp. That is why I wanted to send you this e-mail while its fresh on my mine. I know you only want the best kids in Boston for the AAA Camps, after this past week this is where he would like to go. He may want to return to Kents Hill, but I think if he had the chance he would pick BU. I know you set up interviews so you get the right kids, but who would be better to evaluate my son then the instructors who just saw him. His head instructor was Ryan Grant. Also Phil Russell who was great to talk to, then there was Eric who ran the camp, Evan Richardson and a few more.

I know next summer is a long way down the road, but he was so excited with the camp. We have a big tournament this weekend in Minneapolis it will be fun to watch how much his game has improved. Thanks for your time and bringing the love of hockey back to a 12 year old boy. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you

Thanks for running such a great defense clinic last week in Walpole. While I would never be able to get my daughter to admit she liked it, she never once complained and I actually saw a few smiles on her face as she mastered some of the drills. My son couldn’t stop raving about it and wants to do the Battle Camp next year. My husband and I were both impressed with the workout the kids were given and the fact that the action was non-stop really seemed to hold all the kids’ attention. I will definitely be recommending your organization to my fellow youth hockey parents.

I’ve looked on your website to check for any upcoming clinics being run during the school year but couldn’t find anything. I did notice on the New England Sports Center website that they have a three day Pro Ambitions Hockey Clinic booked during the December school break period. So my question is, now that we’ve attended one of your programs will we be included in notifications regarding upcoming programs/clinics that your organization will be running? I’d love to get my daughter into a clinic one more time before the high school tryouts in November.

Again, thanks to you and your whole staff of coaches for sharing your knowledge with our kids!

A few words from a highly satisfied Canadian family.

Our 11y.o. son, Thomas, was at his first camp experience outside Canada, by himself for two whole weeks at Pro Ambitions Hockey Camp in Kents Hill, Maine. As a francophone, he did not know what to expect from other campers, the coaching staff, etc. And regarding the hockey training camp, we initially thought that it would be just like any other camp…

The Pro Ambitions’ hockey program, the off-ice activities, the coaching staff, the support staff, the facilities…everyone and everything was beyond our expectations. Thomas had a great time, he made many new friends from everywhere in the US, his English has improved a lot and he is just not the same player anymore. He gained confidence, strength and speed…

Simply stated, Pro Ambitions hockey camp was our best camp ever!!!!

Thank you for two amazing weeks.

Thank you so very much for giving Michael the opportunity to attend your camp. It was excellent and the staff was great. He not only learned hockey skills, but emotionally he became a better person.

Our son did your camp in Bensenville the Edge this July. I can’t say how wonderful this camp was. My son learned so much and truly enjoyed everyone that worked there as well.
All the coaches that helped Jeff out were just great kids and my son really learned so much and gained many friends as well. It was run with such high marks and Jeff did a great job!!

PLease let us know when you get your schedule for next year.
Our son Nick can’t wait to have us sign him up again for next year at the Edge.
PLease tell your staff from that Defense camp they all did such a great job!!! Your skills and clinics were just super!!!

Thanks again!!!

Our son  attended your camp in Winnipeg, Manitoba this past July and it was absolutely phenomenal! He has attended numerous camps over the years and as the parents, we think that your camp is the best by far. We would like to register him for the 2012 Battle Camp coming to Gateway Rec Centre in Winnipeg next July and would like to know if there are any coupon codes for the 10% discount like we received last year? We’d like to get him registered ASAP to secure his spot in the camp.

Thank you in advance & looking forward to next July,

The launch of your new website reminded me that I have neglected to write to thank you for the camp experience my squirt son received at the Defense Battle Camp in Chicago this past July. The overall experience, your staff and the defense skills were fantastic.

More importantly, I wanted to write and thank you for sharing your passion for the game and your “not so easy” road to the NHL with the kids. Your stories really resonated with my son. In fact, he broke his foot two weeks before tryouts this fall and did not make the team he was working toward/wishing for and it was a huge blow to him. Nick has talked a lot about your stories and been able to draw from your journey and gain strength from it. That right there goes way beyond hockey. It is a life lesson. Thank you for doing what you do. Looking forward to next summer.

Thanks for the information. My boys are 8 (9 by summer) and 5 and I’ve signed both up for the August camp in Arlington. My wife is still up in the air on the boarding camp since it would be the first sleep away camp for my oldest so I ‘m working on her.

I also want to compliment you on how well your company is run and what a great job you do at the camps. Even after all the success and growth of your company it’s clear that you are still personally involved and actually care about the product you deliver at every camp. These days that is very refreshing.

My son loved your program this past year and he is already signed up for July 2012. Your program did make a difference in how he plays. Especially his increased confidence. His first game this year he scored a hatrick. We have planned our whole summer around your program for 2012. He is 10 years old (2nd year Squirt) and loves the “Bruins”.

Also just wanted to let you know that the Pro Ambition camp that Grayson attended last summer was so instrumental in his success and great hockey season thus far. He is much more confident improved player who goes out and just wants to win every battle now. He was definately the stand out at his tryouts this year and has become one of our team leaders. He has been moved from a left winger on our team to a centre men he has also gone from having 35 total points last season to thus far having 30 goals and 26 assists in just 26 games with the other half of the season to go !!! We are so very impressed with the skills Pro Ambition taught him to bring his game to a whole other level.

My son Michael, a first-year Squirt, absolutely LOVED your Battle Camp in Denver. He really learned to be more physical according to this year’s rules, and it’s a huge benefit. That was really one of the best-planned and best-run camps I’ve ever experienced (and I also have a Midget).

Coach Jeff,

Our son Nico will be attending your Defense camp again this year — this will be his fifth year in a row. One summer he broke his arm/wrist and you managed to squeeze him in at the last AAA camp in Kents Hill. He feels that every year, you take his game to the next level with proven results.

I have to tell you that I find your articles inspiring and very thought provoking. You manage to capture the essence of what it is like to live, breathe and dream hockey. I agree with Nico that you have what it takes to coach him to the next level but what I love about you and your program is that you mentor his soul . . . keep writing those articles! See you at BU . . . again!

Cheers

Hello Coach Serowik,

As you are very well aware…Jacob will start “checking and taking checks” as a first year PeeWee next year. We want Jacob to be really ready to TAKE checks as well as give them…safely and fairly. That is why we are sending both boys to your camp again. Jacob and Rory’s experiences at Pro Ambitions as players has been extremely beneficial and rewarding. And as parents…we have always felt our boys were safe and happy in the care of your coaches.

We look forward to another fun summer camp.

Jacob and Rory’s Mom

Thanks again for allowing David to attend the Littleton camp.  He learned so much and said it was by far the best camp he’s ever been to.  His coaches  couldn’t believe how much better he got in just one week!  They said his stick control and keeping it in the shooting and passing lanes was outstanding.  They also see him playing more aggressively and with more confidence.  His head coach even asked me what camp David went to and is now going to enroll his son (another Pee Wee) in your SLC Battle Camp.

I can tell you that David will attend your D Camp again next summer.  Probably twice.  You really helped him mentally and as a player.  He said your advise to approach big games the same way he does a family drop in has made him think how much fun and relaxed he is at practice and drop in.   He said he will keep it the same for his games this coming season.  I’ll let you know how it goes…

Great camp coach.  You’ve reached my boy in more ways than I can express.  He is more excited than ever to start the next season.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again next summer.

Jeff,

Just wanted you to know that I dropped my son off on Sunday and your team made it so easy and inviting as well as very professional.

Noah loves the camp and he said he’s being challenged everyday and is having so much fun. Just wanted to thank you and your staff. He’s really
happy he choose to stay 2 weeks.

Matt

Dear Jeff,

I just wanted to share how pleased we were with your camp in Valencia last week!  Skylar had a blast. I believe he learned a lot. He is talking about it and would like to go back next year!!  I am sorry I missed you. I spent most of the last day Friday hanging out and watching!  I was very impressed.  I really felt the instructors cared and were very professional! Great with the kids!!  They really care about what they are doing.  Thanks again for a great camp and hope to do it next year!

Thanks Gil M.

Hi Jeff: I wanted to write a funny story to you.

Jack has been a camper of yours for many sessions: Marlboro vacations, Milton summer, Kents Hill summer and so on.  We always talk about the skills competitions at the end of each session.  Last year, up at Kents Hill, when I went to see him after the first of his two weeks, he announced that he was runner up in the handshake contest.  Forget fastest skater or anything else…handshake contest.

Fast forward to this past fall and winter when he was applying to prep schools and visiting campuses and so on.  I don’t think one person shook his hand without commenting “Wow, what a great hand shake!”  I kid you not.  He looks everyone in the eye, offers a nice firm shake and speaks right up.  While I worked with him on this for years, I think you had the largest influence on this skill!

Just to complete the story, he will be attending St Paul’s as a freshman this fall.  While there wasn’t room on the application to make note of Runner-up, Pro Ambitions Handshake Contest, Summer 2011, I remain convinced that a kid who has the confidence to step up with a firm handshake and an engaging smile and voice creates a great first impression and has an impact on how others view him.  Obviously, you do too.  So, if parents ever say “what does this have to do with hockey?”, I will say “nothing,  but handshakes and hockey help shape boys into young men.”

My son attended the Lake Tahoe Defensive camp two weeks ago.  I must say that I was very impressed with the camp and how it was conducted throughout the week. He learned a tremendous amount and I have no doubt his defensive skills will improve as a result.

Being a defensive coach myself, I was grateful to turn the development of my son over to a group of young men and yourself knowing that he was receiving the best instruction in the industry. Each day, he made reference to knowledge he gained, the fun he experienced, and the great instruction he received.  Wil told me that you personally recognized him during the camp in front of his peers with regards to his ability to control his gap.  I can tell you that had a tremendous impact on his confidence and his desire to continue that behavior.  Thanks for the positive reinforcement. While I firmly believe the hockey instruction was extraordinary there is another quality to your camp that I believe is equally as important.  That is discipline and respect. Every player, no matter the level, should be exhibiting discipline and respect.  The discipline is key to creating a learning environment for all the participants.  The respect is for coaches and fellow players. I witnessed both at your camp.  The discipline and respect were demanded, as they should.

I also witnessed your “sniper” camp leader ( sorry, I do not recall his name) take a bold step in the face of disrespect to him by a player and did this in front of other players and parents.  As a coach, I personally commended him on his action to instill discipline and most importantly respect from that particular player.  Please continue to reinforce with your coaches the importance of demanding discipline and respect.  I know many of
them are relatively young and that often times makes the decision to do that
difficult, but you appear to have a group that knows you support them.  This makes it much easier for them to ensure all participants enjoy the camp and are not hindered by the unpleasant actions of another camper.

While improvement in skill is always top of mind at these camps, it is also an opportunity to instill qualities that help young boys and girls be successful for the rest of their lives, regardless of their chosen vocation or profession.

I also want to commend Mike Adamowicz for his interactions with his group of kids.  I thought he did a great job and I can say without hesitation that my son very much enjoyed his instruction and the encouragement he displayed to his group.

Thanks again for the experience.  We will see you next year.

I wanted to thank you for an extraordinary week at Germain arena. The high paced tempo and top notch instruction was fantastic. Many of the dads commented on how much personal involvement you gave throughout the week, especially to the little kids, it was highly appreciated by all.

My boy thinks the world of you, he kept telling me Jeff Serowik told me this and Jeff Serowik told me that. Dad, wait til you meet Jeff Serowik. We’ve seen all your videos on the website and tries to shoot 500 pucks a day.

Your instructors are fine young men and great role models for the kids. The fact that my son was so inspired by your program means alot to me. He smiled constantly, made new friends and enjoyed the high caliber of hockey players that came

We’re really looking forward to prolux and aaa at BU. I couldn’t recommend Pro Ambitions any higher.

Have a great summer.

I just wanted to thank you again for opening up a spot for Zack in your Andover AAA camp (July 16 – 20). He loved every minute of it! Zack has attended many hockey camps over the last few summers, and he has decided that he likes yours the best. He takes the sport seriously and feels that he learns the most at your camps. More importantly, he has the most fun at your camps! He always enjoys your counselors, as he finds them encouraging and well organized. They really seem to know how to teach skills while incorporating fun. Thanks again! Zack will see you in Andover in August for the Sniper/Shooter camp. He’s looking forward to it!

I just have to tell you that your battle camp at Superior on Long Island this week was fantastic. My son loves it so much and they have him working so hard. Kevin as well as all the other guys did a great job. It was ten times better then i could have imagined. i was fortunate enough to watch my son every day at your camp and it exceeded my expectations. Your guys are the best and i will definitely tell everyone how good it was and my boy Ricky will be back next year. Im actually upset that its ending. You cant put a price tag on Hockey instruction such as this. If you or your staff are ever in Long Island again please let me know. I would love to use your staff for a shooting stickhandling clinic. Once again your the best and thanks

WOW..What a great week of camp! My kids loved the session at Rocket so much so that my son, Will, wants me to sign him up for the Seven Bridges session and my daughter wants to go to the all girls camp up at the Super Rink in MN.( We’re heading up there for the 4th and my daughter wants us to leave her there with some of our family) Your staff was incredible and really ignited the fire in both kids. Will looks like a different player and my daughter , as newer skater, looks to have learned some skills that with practice, will only make her better!!!

Will has skated with Pro Ambitions for three years. I’m not sure what the change was this session but he was so darn excited to go to camp! I’m actually considering signing them both up for another session or perhaps a boarding camp in future years. We really appreciate the new financing program which really helps make these things possible!!

I’m a huge fan of your program Jeff and thank you for developing such a great curriculum.

Thanks again for the experience. We will see you next year.

I just left my son Aidan in the care of relatives at your Franklin, MA battle camp as I head home to TN.  I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how impressed I was with the organization, efficiency and staff numbers. I also thought the staff interacted very well with the kids.  These weren’t college kids looking for ice time, they were very attentive and interactive.

As a coach and affiliate USA Hockey board member I will be recommending this camp in the future.

Keep up the good work.

My 11 year old son, completed his week of Pro Ambitions day camp at Skylands Ice World in NJ last Friday.

He LOVED every minute of every day!

The coaching was excellent! Every day he looked forward to learning more from them. The workout was tough and he was asleep every night before 8pm, by 6am he was ready for more.

When I picked him up after camp on Friday, he got into my car and said  “Mom, this has to be the best week of my life!”
WOW

Thanks again. We definitely look forward to more weeks with Pro Ambitions in the future.

Our son,  attended your “Defense with Jeff Camp” last week in Bensenville at the Edge.  As former player and current coach , I have to say this was one of the most effective and well run camps that I have experienced.  I thought there was a good balance between basic hockey skills (skating, puck handling, etc.) and defensive skills such as gap control, stick positioning and angling.  The coaching staff was very professional, demonstrated good work ethics, drove the players towards reaching their full potential and acted as good role models for the kids.  Thanks to you and the entire Pro Ambitions staff for sharing your hockey knowledge and transforming the kids into better players.  We are looking forward to attending camp again next year.

My son recently attended your camp in Dallas Texas. He did well, and was given high marks for being a small goalie. He is very good at what he does; loves thyis sport. He finished the number one goalie ion his league this past season. I wanted to thank you for thye camp and what you left him with. He brought hiome a different attitude and approach. Each evening he was so excited, and couldn’t wait to get home and tell me what he had done
during the day at the camp. He was overjoyed each time the coaches hit a hard shot at him and he would catch it. I had tiokld them not to go easy on him and to be tough on him sometime when they felt comfortable hitting a couple pretty hard at him.

All coaches (counselors) were very friendly, and I felt at ease leaving him with them. From the first time I met them, I did not feel they were strangers since they were so available and friendly. We plan on attending next time one is offered. I appreciate what you’ve done for my son. He won’t make the NHL, but his dream is more alive, and he now has more confidence than ever before. Just a simple thank you and your coaches for your time and effort you put into the camp. Looking forward to next year.

My son Jason  is having a blast at the Pro Ambitions Bruins Camp.  This is the first time he has done a Pro Ambitions camp.  He is being challenged and everyday he comments on how hard he has to work at camp.  Despite the hard work, he loves the camp especially the contact drills.

The online evaluations are excellent  and something we never received from other camps.  We look forward to doing the camp again next year!!  Keep up the great work!

Not sure how Fairbanks went last week, as I’m in Anchorage.  Hope it went well though!  I talked with a family last week who has their kids attending the Wasilla camp this week, since Anchorage was full.

I think the Anchorage camp went really well.  Brandon does an awesome job!  I can’t say enough about your camps, they are well put together, the kids are learning, it’s run smoothly and the kids have FUN.  Ever minute is utilized for educational purposes.  I use it as a comparison to other camps, both hockey and non-hockey, and nothing compares.  This is the only hockey camp that my kids have insisted they return to the following year.

Jeff and Bonnie,

I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding camp in Blaine!  Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  I would like to especially like to thank coach Amanda, Kayla and Ashley.  These girls went above and beyond in providing an awesome hockey training experience for our daughter.

Please pass on our thanks to the coaches if possible.

Sincerely,

Brian B.

I hope all is well.  My son is a beast on the ice! Had a hat trick today and had to be slowed down by his coaches in the 2 nd period.  Needless to
say, Every parent is now interested in your camp…they are blown away by his improvement. Besides your camp helping his physical skills, his passion and work ethic are 10x what it used to be.  He’s out in the driveway and getting 250 shots/day!

Just wanted to say thanks again!

I wanted to tell you that I have seen a huge change in my son’s skill level now that I see him with his regular season team. I could honestly say that his confidence in his ability has skyrocked and he is now is enjoying the game more than ever. Other parents as well as his coaches have commented to me that his play has changed dramatically for the better since last season.

We will be there next summer!

Thanks again.

I just wanted to send you a quick note.  My two boys (8) and  (6) have just finished up a week of Battle Camp in Darien.  They had the BEST time.  The days were jam packed and they loved every minute of it. No matter how tired they were they were still excited to go to camp every morning.  There was a noticeable improvement in both of their hockey, especially my six year old.  By the end of the week, he could really skate with the “big kids”  The coaches were attentive and knowledgeable and on more than one occasion I saw them pull aside one of my boys and really coach them.

Thank you or running a great camp and please save a spot for both boys in the camp next year.  They will be coming back.

…my youngest son, went to 5 select team tryouts and received5 offers, including 3 from teams playing at Elite levels in the NEHL, EHF, and MassSelect. Between the success of this son, and my oldest making the hs varsity team as a freshman, we are believers in your product.  This summer will be the 5th summer of using your products.
Good stuff.

I will say this, my boys and the friends that have done your camps are far and away the best “battlers” on their teams.
Be in touch,
Sean

Jeff, I wanted to follow up with you.  Our first email exchange was about a year ago.  I’ll split this into the short and long version of the story.  Short version is he did Battle Camp in PA.  He had a great time and his play this year so far has been amazing.

The longer version…

My son was struggling on his squirt B team.  The season ended pretty rough.  His team won a championship, but by the end of the season his coach was regularly skipping him in the forward rotation.  In the playoffs he only got 1 shift in 4 of the 7 games and didn’t play a single shift in the championship clinching game.  Some of your articles had helped me understand how better to support him and he was ok with the situation, while not happy.  All the kids who didn’t move up to PW all made the AA team.  He was left on B.  We agreed that he would do camp over the summer.

He loved camp.  First thing he said at the end of the last day – “I am doing this again next year”.

So this year he’s on B again, playing D and getting lots of playing time.  The change in his game is remarkable.  He’s not even really sure how to play D yet, but he’s defending the slot, working the boards and generally being solid.  So far the team has been outscored 32-14, but he’s got an overall +1 rating.  His confidence is translating to leadership on the ice, helping the moved-up mites understand D and where he’ll go, and where they will go.

I don’t know how far the run will go, but I feel like he has a chance be a big contributor, to be confident and to have fun all the time.  I’m looking forward to seeing your 2013 camp schedule coming out.  We’ll be back for Battle or maybe a D camp.  And I’m letting everyone on the team how we got here.

Thanks so much.

I wanted to follow up with you after my sons experience at camp. He has never been a top player or a highly skilled player but we have kept him in hockey, because we can see his potential. I am not sure what the camp entailed since we live in Illinois. Last night he had a summer skate with his club team(s) and my husband said he was on fire. He never slowed down his intensity and was a different player.
Thank you so much for turning the ‘hockey light switch’ on.

Just wanted to let you know my son really enjoyed the camp this past week in Coral Springs. I was able to watch a few sessions and the coaches were outstanding… helpful… skillful and full of energy.

Kelly Miller had the kids constantly moving, constantly challenged and he was an outstanding motivator as he demonstrated and participated in all the drills — he was 100% into it and the kids responded. As a result of the training, my son returned to his summer league this weekend and scored 10 goals in 2 games and hustled up and down the ice getting involved in every play like never before… an amazing transformation.

We look forward to returning to the Coral Springs camp next year and will also look for other Pro Ambition locations as well.

Jeff,

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you!! Ash had an amazing experience. He was in your week one Defense Camp at Boston University. He attended your camp at home (Kent WA) last year. We were very pleased with the program. It was by far the best camp he attended last summer. Aa a result we looked into your other camps. Boston seemed like a good choice. Attending camp with you personally running the ice time, seemed like an amazing opportunity. WOW!!!

Ive never known Ash to work that hard and have that much fun!! THANK YOU!!! He loves this sport, but his experiences aren’t always positive. Your program is challenging, fun and POSITIVE. The men you chose as coaches are unbelievable. Every evening after camp was full of camp
stories. You have one coach, Travis, who Ash is pretty sure hung the moon. I sat and watched the very first ice season and left impressed. The last day I watched both ice sessions and sat a laughed!! It was clear how much fun the kids and coaches were all having!! Your coaches all seemed to really enjoy being there, enjoyed the kids. I enjoyed picking Ash up and seeing sweat running off his hair and a very tired
smile on his face.

So thank you!! You’ve given me an entirely new presepective of the hockey world!! And you’ve given my son so much more !!

Ash is taking both weeks here in Kent, one starting today!! He’s looking forward to it. Hopefully we’ll be back in Boston next year!!

I just wanted to write you a quick thank you for letting me help spread the word about the Pro Ambitions camp in Fairbanks this year.  The camp was a great success and the players had a great time and really grew as skaters and hockey players.  In just a couple years the pro ambitions camp has become THE camp to attend in Fairbanks, so much so that our local college hockey coaches had to cancel their clinic the following week because everyone was going to pro ambitions.

I would also like to say that I would be glad to help spread the word again this winter.  Just keep me in mind and we’ll make sure next years camp is maxed out as well.

I wanted to say thank you for another phenomenal year at Pro Ambitions in Woodstock.  Ean has now enjoyed two years at this camp and is already talking about next year.  John, Dan, Andrew and Shenae were amazing!  It was amazing to see John return as the head coach again this year, the kids really enjoy him.  Pro Ambitions is truly the best camp, from your coaches to the program, you should be proud of the what you have created and continue to maintain.  We will surely attend again!

Hi Jeff! I hear this email find you at Skylands, where we were last week after another successful Pro Ambitions camp!

WOW!! What a camp!! We were impressed (as always), but this AAA camp was AWESOME! Coach Reggie and staff ran a great, competitive, challenging,
and fun camp! We will be back. We really wanted to stay for this weeks defense camp with you, but had to get back for tryouts Aug 1, 2, 3. As
parents, we enjoyed meeting parents and kids from all over the US that we will continue to see at tournaments as our kids grow up if they continue
on this road.

Kyler was thrilled to win the handshake competition at the Skyland camp and win a hat! The smile on his face all week, especially after winning
that competition is something as a mom I wanted to bottle up. His confidence on and off the ice grows bounds after every Pro Ambitions
camp. Thank you! I could go on and on about how much he has improved. After going to another programs hockey camp this year in Michigan, both
my husband and I are so impressed with the system you have created, the drills, and how you always have so many kids moving efficiently on just
one sheet of ice!

So as always, we leave your camps trying to figure out how to get to another one.

Thank you

I just wanted to thank you for “Battle Class.” My son, Clark,  just completed
#162 and had a great week.

Each day he was challenged both physically and mentally while having fun along the way. He would tell me every day how hard he worked but all the fun he was having. Usually parents have to ‘drag’ children out of bed each day for camps but my mine was always up and ready to go because he was eager to get there.

Big thanks to both Coach Ron and Coach A.J. who both worked with him extensively.

Last, and most importantly, Clark said, “Dad, can I go back next year?” Obviously, my answer is yes. Please schedule Nashville next year, we’re all in!!!

Thanks, again!

Thank you, your husband, and your entire staff for the amazing experience you provide.

I once emailed Jeff to say how astounded I was at the personal care you put into your parent relationships. This MASSIVE company feels Like the rink down the road. Having grown up in a sleepy New England town and now living in NYC, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the enormous amount of time and effort you put into ProAmbitions.

That, along with the quality instruction, is a key to your success. I have heard parents in 3 states recommend your camps.

Thanks again!

I am so excited to report to you that my son just received his tryout results for next season. He moved up a level and he was the only player on his team to do do so. He gives all of the credit to the week he spent at your Battle Camp last summer. He is looking forward to Defense With Jeff and Battle Camp this summer! He can’t wait!

At just 6 years old we weren’t sure if having our son attend a summer hockey camp was the right decision to make. However, I knew Jeff back in college at Providence and played on the women’s hockey team the same years as Jeff did on the men’s, so I felt a bit of connection thus resulting in being comfortable with the decision for my son to attend camp. Jeff Serowik’s Pro Ambitions hockey camp not only met but exceeded our expectations.

Since our son is only 6 we felt the half day Battle Camp was enough for a young player. After the first day of being at the camp, my son asked if he could stay all day. Clearly, he was having a blast! When asked how camp was, Sean told us about the fun games they played both on and off the ice! This too is a testament to the fine staff Jeff had in place at the Woodridge, Illinois facility! Coach John Varga was excellent!  Sean completely enjoyed his camp experience and has come out as a more confident skater. The best part about this experience is Sean himself says, “ Mom,  it’s because I went to battle camp.” Needless to say, Sean was excited to get started with his Mite hockey season, and as parents we were happy to see him gain confidence while having fun.  Without a doubt Sean will return to camp next summer!

AMAZING CAMP!

My sons Ryan (9) and Justin (6) attended your camp in Las Vegas  this week.  Ryan was in goalie camp and Justin was in battle.  I can’t say enough what an amazing camp it was!  Out of all camps we’ve attended through the years…your camp was the best by far.  Your coaches were fantastic and extremely good at what they do.  We will definitely plan to travel to your other camp locations because its worth every penny.

The coaches made such a huge difference in both my boy’s skating and goalie skills in just 5 days. It’s remarkable!!

Thanks again…looking forward to you guys coming back to Vegas.

Just wanted to tell you what a great time my 8 y/o son had at your camps this summer.  This is my sons second summer attending your camps and he absolutely loves them.  You guys work him harder than any other camp he attends (in fact so much so we’ve realized one of them is a waste of his time) and he walks out with a better sense of the game, not just on the ice but off the ice as well.  He’s becoming conscious of the importance of conditioning and nutrition (asked if we could take the stairs today instead of the elevator) and that’s all attributed to your great coaching and staff.  Your coaches are incredibly helpful and friendly and your evaluation system is comprehensive and insightful.  Furthermore, as a service member and veteran I truly appreciate the fact that you give discounts to members of the armed services.  We look forward to him participating in your camp for years to come.

This (Pro Ambition’s player assessment) is really impressive.  Thanks for sending this along. I sent a note to Marvin and thanked him for such thoughtful comments and insight. He is dead-on in his assessment (I have some work to do on her confidence, but that will probably come–she has some work to do on her stick handling).

I really love the fact that PA has its instructors provide detailed, customized, and very thoughtful commentary.  It’s a great sign of a quality program and high quality instructors.  Thanks so much.  This is one of the reasons why you are, and will have continued success.

Your Atlantic City camp just concluded.  I had two kids, 4 nephews and 5 other kids that we consider family enrolled in the camp.  Last month we sent the same kids to Northern Edge, also in Atlantic City, and the conclusion by all the kids was the same.  Pro Ambition was by far the better camp.  Your counsel were engaging, funny, personable, talented, and helped the kids when they didn’t understand the drills.  Your drills were fun to do, competitive, and realistic.   We had your counselors to our house for a pizza party and not only did they did they come over but, they played a little bit of football, went to the beach and played a made up game of butt ball (it was made up by a 9 year old and it was pitch black out), and when they lost they put their but up and allowed themselves to get hit.  They were all great sports.  When the Northern Edge coaches came over they sat around our dining room table drank beer and ate.

Thanks again for everything.  By the way, you’ll have applications from about 10 kids in 6 or 7 years.  Lastly, Justin Williams and Dennis Seidenberg invited the counselors to a skate in the morning that a lot of the kids watched and one of the coaches that happens to work for the New Jersey Devils hit Justin in the mouth with a puck.  Stitches were required.   Thanks again for everything.  See you next year.

First of all I wanted to mention how much of a great experience it was for Brandon to attend the BU AAA Camp the week of July 7th.
Your staff was exemplary and Brandon came away a winner at that camp.

Well I also have great news to share with you. Brandon made the Elite team in his first year of Squirt.
We were informed a few hours ago. Coach told me how much he admired Brandon’s grit, intensity and battle skills.
When I heard that I told my wife I have to write to Jeff..

So there you have it another camper who has benefited significantly from your camp. Parents continously asked me what I did to or fed Brandon throughout the summer. His summer spurt came through and thanks to Pro Ambitions!!!

We are proud of Brandon’s achievement. He defied the odds during training camp tryouts.
No more can they say he is small but they can only say he’s a battler!! ( see email below)

Thanks to you and your staff

Sincerely
Rocco

I started working at your Pro Ambitions camp on the Cape in 2009 then moved to Minnesota and have led numerous camps in Minnesota and Wisconsin since then.

Your camp is a huge reason that my older son (the D) is turning into a stud. He plays with grit and tenacity and has excellent balance because of all of the battle camps since 2010. He is now a second year Pee Wee AA in Minneapolis. He trains hard on his own and is getting big and strong. It is his compete and battle levels that separate him from his peers.

When I was a youth hockey player, I struggled with the physical aspect because I didn’t know how to use my body. I never had battle drills that emphasized body contact. It is so much fun to see Lachen initiate contact and win battles 90% of the time.

My younger son, Aksel, moved up to Pee Wees early and made the A team despite his tiny stature. He also benefitted from the goalie training at ProAmbitions.

So, thank you for creating the best hockey camp in the nation. It is a great curriculum that I utilize (and give the proper credit to) in drills for my hockey teams. And we are back-to-back state high school champions.

I hope your season goes well,
Shawn
Head Coach Pro Ambitions (8 years)

Hi Jeff,
I hope all is going well with you and yours. I just wanted to let you know that Jon, who did your camps for 5-6 summers, was just named Captain of his high school hockey program. I know you have had and will have players role through your program that achieve greater hockey accolades, but for Jon being Captain is in all likelihood is going to be the capstone of his hockey career, and he is very happy and proud of the achievement. He had many people who helped him achieve that goal, but you and your program feature prominently so thank you again for your help.

Best Regards,
Bill

Jeff,
Hope you are having a great year. My boys have both attended various Pro Ambitions camps in the past and you remain the favorite. We skate (and I serve on the Board of Directors) with the Admirals in Glen Ellyn which is currently the only USA Hockey Model Association in Illinois. As such, we do a lot of station drills and small area games (following ADM guidelines), it has struck me through the implementation that your camps were the first places we were exposed to this kind of training. You sir, have always been ahead of the curve.

Jon G.

Hi,

If you ever need a testimonial, you have one in Alex E’s development following Camp last summer. Alex was 8 when he attended his first Pro Ambitions camp (Kennewick, Wa), he had some skills already that most others his age were still learning. However, the skills he learned at camp allowed him to excel. In the following season he moved from defense to Center with confidence, and tallied over 60 goals and almost 30 assists for his House Squirt team (ICE WARRIORS). At his last tournament in Everett, his team did not make it to the final but Alex worked hard to keep them in the games and tallied 3 assists and 16 goals in their 5 games. Three of the teams they battled were really tough teams that came down from Canada. Alex found ways to work hard and get into the mix like a center should.. As a parent and junior coach, I can really recognize how Pro Ambitions got Alex to where he is today.

The season may be over, but it is time to get ready for next season and we are looking forward to the next camp.

Thanks for coming to Kennewick.

Mark

Hi Jeff,

I know you are busy gearing up for your summer busy season, so I will be brief. First, I want to apologize for the boys not being at camp this summer. I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say circumstances changed, so the boys probably won’t be able to make it back. However, I do want to be absolutely clear that that decision has nothing to do with your program, for which I have the highest regard. Second, and along those lines I wanted to thank you, and your staff for a great series of sessions for the boys. They always enjoyed their time with your program, and always seemed to be better hockey players coming
out of it. And the results speak for themselves: 1) Both boys made their high school varsity hockey teams as freshman; 2) This past season the team made it to the state finals with their essential help; and 3) My oldest son was one of the starting ‘D’. I can clearly trace the older son’s success in hockey to a camp of yours he attended years ago in Andover. During that week I could seen the light come on in a lot of different ways, and he never looked back. As a parent that was fun to watch.

Anyway, best of continued good luck with your program, and I can only hope it keeps helping other boys and girls like it helped my boys.

Best Regards,

Hi Jeff ,
My son Dakota attended your camp with Coach Bob Beers in Jay Peak, Vermont two years in a row ! He absolutely LOVED it !! This is a serious training camp , PACKED with on & off ice training as well as team building activities . Coach Beers and his staff are phenomenal ! The ratio of staff to campers is better than any other camp that he has attended allowing all the campers to get serious one on one time throughout the camp. Not only do the kids have extra attention on the ice as the drills go on, but the coaches often spend even their spare time with the kids discussing hockey sense and history .
The set up of this camp is extra special as the Jay Peak resort is absolutely amazing. The resort provides a self contained , safe environment for the campers where they are housed in condos walking distance to the rink and resort. Dakota could walk to the rink , to eat , and to the store. He always had a counselor with him . The counselors/ coaches also room in the condos with the players so they are supervised constantly .
The coaches go out of their way to take full use of this beautiful resort , dedicating their extra time to take the kids on hikes up the ski mountain trails or playing street hockey with them outside the condo .
Oh, did I mention the INDOOR WATERPARK ?? This is a Jay Peak Camp special feature as this resort has an indoor water park complete with rock climbing wall and surf pool. Of course, the Pro Ambitions staff incorporates this treat into the camp package and it is the highlight of an already fun packed, super fun week for the players.
My husband and I travel to Jay Peak each summer, although we don’t stay on site to give Dakota some space 😉 , however, we attend almost all the practice sessions and end of session game and I can tell you from personal observation that this camp is PACKED with instruction from start to finish . This camp is absolutely worth EVERY PENNY and I think the value is amazing , it includes boarding , on ice time, off ice time, meals , fun activities , water park & the thoughts and advice from excellent instructors which include players currently going through the college hockey process to professional hockey player with years of NHL experience both playing and calling the game.

Hello,

I wanted to send you an email and let you know how things are going here this week in Omaha NE.

My son Denver, is attending your Battle Camp for the first time. This organization has been so easy to work with. Originally we had registered Denver to attend the Sniper-Shooter camp in FL. However with family circumstances, we had to change our plans. Without any flaw, Denver was transferred to Omaha.

My son has played hockey for almost 5yrs here in Omaha. I have helped run and manage many of our clubs events and camps. Denver has attended all of the summer camps provided here. However I have to say, this camp is one of the first, he truly has enjoyed every bit of it.

The coaches have been great… Being a little guy and having the big boys work with you is so huge in their eyes. Your coaching staff is top notch professional and personable!! they’ve covered so many aspects of an athlete from fitness to Nutrition. Its funny cause some of these things, I have preached to Denver, his whole life. He comes home and tells me what he’s learned from the coaches and its like, he’s never heard any of it before, lol. But that’s ok. I know our kids look up to their coaches.

Coaching, leading by example and mentoring is what being a coach is all about and as a parent I appreciate those who go above and beyond. So if you would, please extend my gratitude to those coaches here in Omaha.

We look forward to next year and maybe a Sniper-Shooter camp here in Omaha as well (Hint…Hint).

Jeff, when I asked my son what he thought, he said it was amazing. He’s not one for hyperbole and I was definitely impressed as well. That little rink is perfect for the kind of work they’re doing. Less waiting in line, more touches etc.

I particularly find it helpful everyone is pushed to go max speed on every rep. When the best and fastest kids are losing edges and falling I know it’s pedal to the metal which is what I’m trying to get him to develop(those tip toe quick feet). That maxed out approach has been completely abandoned at the youth level from what I’ve seen. It’s a more slower speed/mastery approach instead of finding where you fail and go from there.

I will definitely sign up for the NHL Prep 5 pack. I will probably look to start those towards Feb vacation through the end of the season in March. We’ll have him in both a December and Feb vacation clinic anyway is my guess depending upon his tournament schedules which are still TBD. In two hours those kids probably got about a month’s worth of development today. Dave is great too because we’ll typically go to the clinics he runs in Norfolk or West Roxbury so he
knows him.

We’re believers so I’ll probably sign up soon and I’ll also be on the lookout next week for the new site to see what’s on tap for summer.

Thanks again Jeff,

Sincerely,
Melissa M

Hi Jeff!

Hope all is well with you, the family and the ProAmbs crew!
I know your super busy. Things are crazy busy here too on our end
but I wanted to reach out when the timing seemed right especially after
the ProAmbs article on Carson and her BC commitment.
Truly unbelievable.

Mostly I wanted to express how grateful Carson, Peg & I are for EVERYTHING you have done.
Years of your guidance, camps & training and positive support, has made a HUGE impact for Carson.
We recognized from the first day she came to your BU D camp how genuine and real you and your camps are.
Its infectious…kids and parents just want to be part of it..tough to describe.  Its been the highlight of
our last 6 summer vacations being in Boston and part of your camps
We immediately said this is where and who Carson needs to be around and you certainly know the rest.
She certainly has put in a TON of work on her path as you have written about.  “Not all paths are the same
and just keep working hard”
She certainly has been inspired by you and the Pro Ambitions experiences.
I could go on and on but I have a habit of long emails.
So simply….Jeff…THANK YOU!

Joe

Hi! I’m Kevin Brown from the Pro Ambitions Hockey camp in Reston, VA. I just wanted to thank you and coach Bill for the advice and feedback which continues to aide the improvement and technique of my game. You were a very helpful and entertaining coach and frankly in that span of four days I learned so much more than I could imagine. Hope you made the same impact on other kids as well.

Sincerely, Kevin Brown

Thanks for the email. This is why my father put me in PA camps when I was a Mite….now I coach for PA with pride. I just wish I had more time to work more camps.

I am looking forward to this summer working for you. Best regards

Travis Wood

Dear Coach Serowik:

Thank you for a awesome experience at your BU power skating camp.
I was able to realize my dream of playing AAA hockey by signing with a hockey academy for this year.
Your camp was exactly what I needed to take my game to the next level.
I cant wait until i can attend another Pro Ambitions Camp next summer.

Sincerely,

Holt Schwarm

The season is going pretty well, the team is not so good, but on a personal level I was second in the league in scoring for defenseman for a time. Most of the scoring has come form the help I got at your camp on my slapshot which has greatly improved.

Thanks again,

Kenny

Hi Jeff, Just letting you know how much fun your camp is at BU. The counselors are nasty and wicked cool, and its just wicked fun.

Sincerely,
Cody Cavicchi 22

Hello,

My name is Maggie . I live in Maine. My brother Michael attended your hockey camp this August and he absolutely ENJOYED it. He said it was the best time of his entire life. He came back from that camp a new person and his game was much improved. That letter you wrote to the parents was forwarded to me via my dad. It was a very touching letter and I appreciated it a lot. I am a swimmer for my high school and I think everything you said is true for swimming. At my next practice on Monday morning I am going to share those thoughts with my team. I think they are very inspiring and my team should hear them. Thank you again for having your camps and for being so generous of your time.

Happy Holidays!
Maggie M.

Hi Jeff,

I don’t know if you remember me–this is Charley, I went to Pro Ambitions at BU for 2 years and you got me hooked up with Proctor Academy and the world of New England hockey. I just wanted to let you know how Proctor ended up and what I’m up to now, because you played such a big part in me being in the east while I was at your camp.

I am in the middle of my second week here at Bates College right now and am loving it! My classes are terrific, I’ve made some great friends already, and the hockey season starts in one month and I couldn’t be happier with how things have played out. Again, I just wanted to tell you all this because I believe that you played a pivotal role in all of this and I want to thank you for that.

I hope all is well with you and your camps continue to be great.

Sincerely
Charley

Dear Jeff,

Thank you for the invitation, I would love to be part of the competition. Also our tryouts were this week. I made the pee wee A team as a first year pee wee. Pro Ambitions really helped me improve on my skills and gave me the confidence to do well. Thank you again and I will see you soon.

Sincerely
Chandler

Dear Jeff,
It was great meeting you this past summer. George wanted me to send this letter to you.

“Dear Coach Jeff,
Thank you for the Defense with Jeff camp. It was the best camp in my life.

Sincerely, George

As referenced George attended Defense with Jeff in Chicago this past summer. He started the summer wanting to be a center. He ended the summer wanting to be a scoring defenseman saying he was born to be a defenseman. Fun stuff. Thanks. See you next summer or sooner if we decide to travel to a camp over Christmas break.

Hi Jeff,

It’s Nick from Australia. I am just emailing you to say thank you for all the camps you ran when I was in America. They were absolutely amazing and they were so much fun!!!!!!!! I met a lot of people over there at your camps and made a lot of new friends. Your camps were very help full to me and have helped me improve out of sight!!
How are you? I hope you are well and still coaching and running more camps!
I wish and hope that I can come over again to do the camp again in 2012 because I can always improve!

Once again Thank you very, very much!!

Nick

I just want to thank you for all your working with my son. He did make the Mount St. Charles Varsity Hockey Team! Now the work really begins and he is definitely up for it.

Your advice about “ATTITUDE” was definitely a part of his success here. It is so important! He has worked so hard to get to this point, and it has finally paid off!

Jeff, Our son attended your power skating camp at Philips Academy Rink this past August taught by John Roderick. I have been meaning to email you to let you know how pleased we were with Coach Roderick. Our son learned more skating from him in one week than he had in the previous “learn to skate/Learn to play hockey” sessions we had him in. He is now enrolled in a In House mite program and while watching him do the drills each week we notice how he is using his edges and doing other things Coach Roderick showed him (like balancing on one foot etc…)

When we first got to camp I was a little worried when I saw only two 6 year old boys (our son is 6) and the rest were a lot older. I thought to myself how can he run this camp in such a way that it would be fair to the two young boys at the same time being fair to the older boys who signed up? Well that thought quickly went away when I saw how he conducted the class. He had everyone doing everything and it couldn’t have worked any better. He was outstanding. If you are planning to have any more of these camps run by Coach Roderick we will definitely be signing up Derek. How about having one at Conway arena in Nashua?? Also, I wanted to ask you how the mini battle camps went this year. I understand they were something you were trying out.

They were too far away from us (we are in Londonderry, NH). If they went well are you planning on having them again and if so would you consider any northern Mass or southern NH? I believe you had them in southern and western Mass. Thank you again for offering this wonderful power skating program. I have been telling everyone I know how great it was and look forward to seeing your upcoming schedule on your website. Sincerely, Maureen Evangelou Londonderry, NH

My son Daniel Guglielmo, attended your Morristown Camp. My husband, who is Daniel’s squirt “B” travel coach, also attended as a spectator. Both Daniel and Dan, thought the camp was outstanding. It was very physical and challenging, by far the best camp he has ever taken. Daniel will not begin checking until the 2004-2005 season. He is only 59 pounds, but, not afraid of checking, thanks to your method of teaching and it. Your camp has brought out the best in our son. You and your staff have given him a tremendous amount of confidence. So many players, who do not know how to give and receive checks properly get discouraged when it comes time to check. Some players even leave the sport.

We are confident that will not happen to Daniel, thanks to you. He worked extremely hard the entire week and truly enjoyed himself. Your camp was everything you claimed it would be and so much more. I can not say enough great things about your staff, they are second to none. They were extremely professional, experienced and wonderful teachers. My son and husband could not stop talking about how terrific they were. Daniel truly bonded with them and enjoyed listening to their stories at lunch. When I mention the staff, please be sure to include yourself, Daniel thinks the world of you. He loved the techniques you taught him. He especially liked the way you showed him how to use the stick between the puck carrier’s legs.

He can not wait to try some of your techniques in his games this upcoming season. Unfortunately, the other camps Daniel will be attending this summer will be no where near the high level of your camp. Please make sure to notify us when your new schedule comes out. We are certain, after experiencing your camp this summer, that next summer will fill up quickly. Daniel would be heartbroken if he missed out. You can count on Daniel attending a minimum of one of your camps. We will be recommending your camps to everyone we know.

Thank you for a great experience. Kerri Giannotti and Dan Guglielmo

I just wanted to give you some feedback on your Battle Camp out of Stoneham on 7/7/03 to 7/11/03. My son Justin had a great time. It was challenging and fun. It was everything I expected when I signed him up for your camp. I have also played my share of hockey and attended many power skating and summer school clinics and was very impressed with your school. Your choice of instructors was well done. The instructors are able to motivate the kids so they are working hard and having fun at the same time. The perfect environment for learning. Keep up the good work.
Thank you again
Sil Ferreira

First off thanks again for this walkout has had a blast, and Ty has loved his couple of days on the ice as well. While talking to Kim she asked about Tyler and commented that he was a great player for his age. The question came up about his coaching thru the years. I told her that the only coaching he has had in the last 3 yrs is the coaching that he got from you and your camps. This is a true testimonial that to be the best you learn from the best.

I told her that he was a true product of Pro Ambitions. For that i thanked her. The biggest thanks goes out to you. It goes to show that you never cease to amaze me that i don’t know how you do it but you get the BEST people in the world. Keep up the awesome work. See you soon.

Tommy

My name is Jim Mazza and my 10 Yr old son Jimmy attended your Battle Camp at Superior ice rink in Kings Park NY a few weeks ago. It is going on 2 weeks now and he is still talking about what good time he had and how much he had learned. I to was also impressed on what a good camp it was, I work nights so I was able to stay for few minutes (which turned into hours) each day to watch the different drills the kids learned. As the father of a defensemen it was great to see them learning the different defensive positionings and techniques, Jimmy has been to many camps and they very seldom work on these things. Jimmy plays for the Long Island Royals a Tier 1 AAA team that plays in the Atlantic hockey league this season he will be playing Squirt Major which means next season we begin checking, once again this camp did a great job of teaching the kids how to check, play the body and and use their angles.

I would also like to compliment you on your coaching staff they did a tremendous job of teaching the kids. Dave, Kim and Chris were all excellent Dave was great at setting up the drills and explaining what and why they were being done. Kim is an amazing player I have never seen boys so impressed with a female hockey player, once they found out she was on Team USA they made sure to tell there other friends on their travel team. Chris was great at reinforcing the drills and encouraging the kids to bring out there best. Chris was also Jimmy’s coach that did his evaluation, he was right on with his assessment his coach and I tell him the same things.

I am looking forward to attending many more of your camps in the future, hopefully Jimmy will one day attend your Kent Hills Camp. I have become a Pro Ambitions Ambassador and have been telling all the parents on our team that they all must attend next year. Once again thank you for a job well done and we will be seeing you next year.

Dave

Our best to you and your wonderful staff, Jean, Jim and Ryan McQuaid

PA Staff:

Keep up the good work.

Brian is having a great week at camp. Still working in the new equipment but better now than in October!! If you think of it would you throw a size small t shirt into your bag for tomorrow.

Thanks so much for all the effort and energy you and your team of blue men put in for the kids. Its totally inspirational!

John M. Phillips II

Best Regards, Todd J. Goehring

We just finished up your Battle Camp in Exton and I wanted to let you know how impressed and happy we are. First, your instructors are TOP NOTCH !!!!!!!! They did exactly what you said they would do…..they put the fun back in hockey for Conner. Please retain these guys at all cost !!!!!! Conner is a good player but has trouble understanding drills at times and your coaches took time to explain and work with him. Thank You ! The very few problems that arose were handled VERY professionally and discreetly in my opinion. These men are a credit to themselves and your program. Secondly, your program is one of if not the best programs I have seen. These kids were constantly moving and drilling. I have no idea how Conner, at age 9 and one of the smallest on the ice, maintained through 4 hours of ice drills everyday and wanted to go back everyday !!! I was wiped out watching him. He was actually working on outside edge work while waiting for his turn at the next drill ! I thank you and your instructors for helping Conner find hockey again. We are hoping to attend one of your boarding camps next year. Please pass on to your instructors how impressed we were with them and we look forward to seeing them again.

Sincerely Yours, Bill & Jodi Busack

Mikee chatted the whole way home and it took us 45 minutes just to get out of the airport parking lot! This is L.A..He had a great time. Wants to return next year. But aside from all that I wanted to take a minute and personally thank you for all the effort you gave my situation. I’m heartfully impressed with your work.

Thanks again. Talk to next summer.

Suzi

Jamie Chisholm Scituate, MA

Kate Reznicek (Henry’s Mom)

Thanks again, Tony Haskins

Chris Castro, Manny Castro and Jarod Castro

Sincerely, David Dumont

Thanks again,

Kara Rembis

My son Michael did your battle camp in Marlboro at the end of July. I am not one to go out of my way to complain about things and on the same token unfortunately I don’t usually go out of my way to say thanks. I certainly will and did shake your hand and say thanks at the time as well as make sure my son does also but i have been thinking about the two camps my son did this summer, yours and I won’t say the other . Everyone but me has written and or called voicing there displeasure with the other camp. I thought I’d drop a line and tell you how well run yours was. From day one there was more than adequate supervision at all times during the camp. I am a parent who doesn’t leave my kids with people I don’t know and by day two I was comfortable enough with your staff that I didn’t have to be there all day.

On ice my son was moved from one group into a higher one where he was with kids of closer skill level. Michael is a great skater with lots of skill but wouldn’t be aggressive for anything and it was a concern to his coach. That all changed by the end of 1 week because your instructors made being aggressive fun. I heard some knocks that you should do this or teach that and after day one all I could say is my son had the time of his life out there with all those kids and instructors. Michael has 2 sisters 6 girl cousins 0 boys all the neighbors are girls so this was fun for him. Finally the best part was at the end of each day the instructors played simon says before checkout.

Well Michael won 3 times and came in second twice. I will be honest, the first day as i’m waiting and all the kids were coming in for another clinic and the parents asked if Michael was doing the clinic I said no he’s doing pro ambitions he’s right there and pointed to him playing simon says, I felt a bit awkward. I told him the next day lose on purpose, nope he won again. When I tell you that was the most fun he had in the clinic, it was and you wont find many kids who love to be on the ice as much as he does. He won a hat and wears it around proudly. I was very thrilled with how your camp was run and look forward to coming to others in the future.

I have to tell you that Reggie amazes me with his attention to details; he truly knows Matt. He noticed that he grew 5” since he saw him last, he honed right in on weaknesses – just an incredible guy. I’m sure you know that. Lee is a character; he was very funny with hockey stories and the Atlantic League. I realize that you deal with thousands of people coming and going; I just want you to know that your staff is top shelf! Reggie mentioned that he was going to be at Kents Hill; I assured him that he would see us before that.

Thanks, Maria

Just wanted to pass along my appreciation and recognition of the quality of the skills programs that you and your team conduct. This is my 11th year coaching youth hockey and I having been exposed to many skills and practice plans I wanted to pass along to you that your skills programs are outstanding. You and Leigh do a great job of teaching and improving the skills of the boys, yet still make it fun! Thank you for all you do for the kids.

All the best, Mike C

Well you sure do have a “class act” organization and class act coaches! I highly recommend everything you have to offer when people ask about camps and coaches. I am truly impressed, with all that you have going on and how busy you are that you always find the time to respond to emails! It is astounding! I wish all communication and feedback from organizations was as classy as yours. You clearly know how to do it right and that is what makes your program the best! As a parent that means so much and I can’t say enough great things about Pro Ambitions.

Sincerely,
Edson Family

Thanks for hooking Karl up with the opportunity to do the D-camp and get the heartier challenge. He had a great time as did his buddy Matt.

Matt’s father and I truly appreciated the attention they were given and admire your camps overall for their attention to detail. Pro Ambitions always makes us feel that we are somehow a special customer and that keeps us coming back! This cannot be said for other organizations. I’m not big on referring hockey parents to specific clinics because, well, I’m sure you can imagine… but I always feel comfortable sending people your way because the quality is consistent and if there is a problem you fix it.

See you this summer at AAA, if not before. Happy New Year!

Thanks again from Deb and I as well as both boys

I was going to send an email as well.  Thank you very much for the positive feedback, it means a lot.  For the record, my kids have been raving about how much fun they had with you on the ice, in case you couldn’t tell from the grins on their faces when they got off the ice.  What a blast!!

I will cut Mattie’s stick by the next session!  This is perfect, and exactly what we were looking for…

I will be sending an email to Jeff and I have been talking up Pro Ambitions and your staff to all of the EHF families that we come across….

My son Travis just finished your camp in Lake Tahoe. Needless to say we were very pleased with EVERYTHING! Coach Dan, Coach Eric and the rest of your staff are awesome. They gave each athlete the individual attention they needed.

The boys did an spectacular job at the Pelham, Alabama battle camp. Being from Walpole, MA, it was good to see some familiar “hard” hockey drills executed properly. Kids enjoyed it and Todd and his staff did a great job with all the kids!

Mike McCarthy

Thank you for all of your wonderful emails. I wanted to let you know the progress my son has made since he last attended your camp. His name is Kace and he is a pee-wee. He recently made the Hershey Jr Bears Pee-Wee AA team (which qualified for Silver Sticks in January) and the Hershey Quebec team (which is going to Quebec for February’s tournament).

We wanted to thank you for all that you do and for running such a wonderful program. Best holiday wishes

Very organized and well run camp. Nice job!!!!

My son Jake had a great time and learn a lot.

Thanks to you and your remarkable list of instructors like Anthony and Andrew as well as a superb cast of talented and exceptional role models we as parents are proud we chose to be associated with the Pro Ambition family…. Tommy

I first want to THANK you for letting me be an instructor.  I had a lot of fun working with the kids, and Ron and Scott did a GREAT job with the sharp-shooter camp.    I talked with a lot of parents on Friday, and they all stated this camp was one of the best camps their kids have been to.  Being an instructor at other camps in MN and WI, I will tell you this was a very very well-instructed and demanding camp for the kids.    I know you are busy, so I just wanted to thank you for everything.   Sincerely,   Tom Nelson     Ps- Let me know if you need me for future camps…

My eight-year-old son is finishing Battle Camp in Scottsdale, AZ today.  I just wanted to write and say that it’s the best The camp I’ve seen in 40 years of playing hockey in Canada, the Northeast and California.  Coach Ron Kraft and his large, enthusiastic and attentive team had the kids engaged in age-appropriate contact and other drills from the first ten minutes.  To quote my current governor (and the parents I spoke with here, some of whom who drove from as far as Boise, ID), “We’ll be back”

Marty Collins

I would like to thank you for the efforts you have put into creating and implementing your Hockey Camps. My son, Caden, just finished attending your camp this week in Cincinnati. Not only did he love the camp, I too enjoyed watching Caden as well as the other kids and your staff smile their way through a great week of hockey. Your staff at the Cincinnati camp is second to none. Each coach loves the game and loves the kids. This was very apparent in how they coached and appealed to the kids. Each night my son (Who is a very young seven year old – December 28 – What a poor Hockey birthday) could not wait to get back for the next day’s events. This is tribute to your staff (Head up by Nelson) as well as your philosophy. I was very impressed how each coach took the time to know the kids names.

Obviously they took the time to learn about each player and what makes them respond on and off the ice. On Tuesday each coach was out in front of Northland waiting to greet the kids. Each coach had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely as excited as the kids to get to work. Your staff was as good as I have ever seen at getting to know the kids. From what I witnessed I will do my part to encourage our players to attend your camp in the summer of 2010. I can not compliment each coach enough for their efforts. You not only select your staff on technical expertise but on the “IT” factor. I can not thank the coaches enough for the wonderful week Caden and I received from your camp.

There was a young coach at your camp that came on board from the Cincinnati Cyclones. I am not sure how you brought Lee Landsdowne on board but he is a great addition to your staff. Lee did the Cyclone camp two weeks prior to your camp and he did a great job at both. Caden and all the kids responded very well to Lee at both camps. I got to know Lee at last year’s Cyclone Camp and he is a terrific young coach. Our organization has brought Lee on board to work with our goalies as well as to build the overall confidence of all of our kids. I am in the process of finding a way to bring Lee on board our staff in a paid capacity (While be it a very minimal paid capacity). For what it is worth please take a good look at Lee and consider him for a permanent position with your organization. He is a great young coach and would bring a tremendous amount of positive things to your organization. Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail. We look forward to being part of your camp next summer.

Respectfully, Jeff Smith

I wanted to thank you and your staff for a great camp. I believe Jonathon got a lot out of it. The kids worked hard, played hard, and were constantly moving. I know that Jonathon had a great time. All of your counselors were very patient and great with the kids. I hope Jonathon will be able to do another camp soon.

My son Chris Van Hecke just completed your BU camp the week of July 5th thru  10th. I just wanted to pass along that your counselors were wonderful.  Chris could not say enough about them. His main counselor Evan was a true  professional and the type of young men younger boys should look up too.  Chris learned several new techniques and improved a lot. Please pass along  our thanks to Evan, Woodsy, PJ, Hoody, Dustin, Sean, and Coach Lee they were  all great. Chris enjoyed his stay and will return again. You do a great job!!

My son had a great time in Andover and really seemed to make some good progress. His coach – Colleen Martin was great. Kyle had some issues with bruised shins from his new skates. She was very patient and really helped him.

I cannot say enough about the incredible coaching at your camps! My kids did the week long over in Natick at William Chase last month and now are at the Concord camp.  Both camps have amazing coaches both on the ice and off.  Thank you for  a tremendous camp experience.  My boys are looking forward to being old enough for “boarding camp”…That is all they talk about these days! Thanks again, Annie Rubin

A BIG thank you to you, the counselors, the coaches at Pro Ambitions for making last week’s camp so successful for Maddie. I am very grateful and most appreciative to you ALL.

Just thought you might like to know

Greg just completed his week at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Faribault, MN. Wow, what a week. Do you have a listing of the coaches that participated? I have taken some photos and would like to properly identify them. Greg earned the jersey for his week of hard work and work ethic. We would like to personally thank the company for that also. Greg will be featured in our local newspaper telling his ‘hockey story’. You can be assured that the Pro Ambitions Battle Camp will be spoken of in high regards! Thank you

I just wanted to thank you for a great week of hockey camp. My son Gabriel had a great time. It’s difficult to get him out of bed in the summer but  the week of camp he was up and ready to go before I had to nag him.    Your staff was great and treated my son with care and respect. Kevin was  outstanding and gave Gabriel a lot of positive reinforcement. Though my son is not the greatest hockey player and very unsure of himself, the guys gave him the confidence to try his best. I certainly appreciate that.    I guess the best endorsement is that Gabriel felt let down when the week was over. He really had a great time and is looking forward to another summer with your camp. I also wanted to thank you for making special  arrangements for Gabriel to participate in the hockey part of your boarding  camp, I think he may even be interested in the complete boarding camp next year.  Thanks again.    Kim Ivanov

Dear Steve (Dubinsky) and staff, Sam and Max had a great hockey experience at your camp – the best they ever had! They loved that they were challenged – and hanging around with Matt Pinchevsky is always “energizing”!!! They came home from your camp with great attitudes, a little more mature, grateful for the experience and excited about the upcoming season – thank you!!!   Kirsten Kohl

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you I was very impressed with the summer day camp my son attended last week. Dave (the head coach) did a great job handling the kids. I know how difficult it is to keep a large group of kids ‘civilized’ and he did an outstanding job. He seems to have a great temperament and personality for teaching children.

Registration was very quick and organized. He answered all the questions every one had and was still able to move things along quickly. Dave was also available throughout the week to answer questions.

I also happen to have arthritis in one hand and have a difficult time with the skate laces. There always seemed to be someone on staff that was right there with a helping hand to help lace up my son’s (my son is 8) skates.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the week and will be eager to attend another clinic in the future.   Diane Foulds

I should have sent this email months ago to brag on Todd Spencer the camp’s leader and his team that did the hockey camp in Birmingham, AL.

Todd Spencer managed the coaches perfectly, kept the kids going all 5 days, and took time to talk to every parent. I do not know how he did it week in, week out, but he did a great job and sold me on Pro Ambitions Hockey. He needs to be recognized.

Hope to see PAH in Birmingham again.   Robb S.

My son Dakota  attended your camp this summer at Kents Hill.  Your staff was absolutely amazing and so was your program.

Dakota is already asking about next year.  I will absolutely bring him back because of the knowledgeable staff, program and fun that he had playing with athletes from other parts of the country and world..

Again Thanks to your staff for making enjoyable for him and the other athletes out there.

We just finished the Nashville camp (half day) last week and had a blast! His experience could not have been better. Ron did a great job with organization and made the camp fun for all the ages and levels – plus, I think that they all got better!

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say THANK YOU to you and your coaches! My son attended your Battle Camp last week in Brandon Florida. This was his first hockey camp ever, and he could not have had a better experience. The coaches were phenomenal, the improvement in his skill is incredible, and he had the time of his life! All week all he told me was how great camp was and how he wished he could go to hockey camp every day! Dylan had such a great experience, we will definitely be back next year! Thanks again and please let your coaches know how much we appreciate them!

I just wanted to thank you for a GREAT camp this week at Skylands. David enjoyed the D camp and William enjoyed the Goalie camp a lot. The instructors were all top notch – they worked hard to teach and made it fun. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity and I’ll be sure to recommend your camps to all of our hockey friends. Thanks again. Bob

I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you what a great camp you’ve designed. My 9 year old son is in the Battle Day camp in Scottsdale AZ at the Alltel Ice den. Ron and the staff have done a marvelous job. As a hockey coach I can appreciate the amount of time it takes to plan, prepare and outline the on ice activities for 40 kids. After all that you still need the proper execution to pull it all off. Thanks for making learning the game fun for the kids! Regards, Bill

Just got back to Canada from the BU AAA camp in New Jersey. To say Chris had a good time is an under statement. As a college coach in Canada I was very impressed with your staff and the curriculum was incredible. As a Canadian I’m embarrassed to say but it “You really get it !!”. LOL. Chris was selected the “Warrior of the Week” and is really anxious to get his stick. Could you please let us know the process. Thanks Again and if you are anywhere near Cardigan Mountain School this year Chris would love to meet you. He attributes the Pro Ambitions Camp to him making the Varsity team.

Tim Halifax, Nova Scotia

I want to take a moment to tell you how much my son, Matt, enjoyed camp in NJ last week. In particular I would like to compliment his counselor, Evan, on a job well done. The boys really enjoyed working with him and I appreciated this nightly text message updates. It was a great way for us to keep up with the boys when they are too busy, or tired to call. Evan is a delightful young man (as are all the staff I have had contact with) and you are lucky to have him working with your program.

Thanks for another great experience- Jill and Jerry

We just finished your Andover camp and wanted say thanks for another great week for our son. The coaches you bring to the camp are great in 2 ways, love/knowledge of hockey and they really enjoy teaching the kids. Each day Ridge was exhausted. But, each morning he jumped right out of bed looking forward to another fun, challenging day. Since we started with this sport in Ontario 7 short years ago, we have participated in numerous camps and clinics. Pro Ambitions has proven to be the highest quality and value we have experienced to date.

Thanks and we will see you next year, The Power family

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say THANK YOU to you and your coaches! My son attended your Battle Camp last week in Brandon Florida. This was his first hockey camp ever, and he could not have had a better experience. The coaches were phenomenal, the improvement in his skill is incredible, and he had the time of his life! I felt it necessary to reach out to you regarding your camp last week. Your people did an amazing job and Nicholas came home every night -WIPED! I am not one to single people out, as all your instructors were friendly, helpful and great – BUT – I have to say Laura Hart was unbelievable with my son. He was the smallest, the youngest and the least experienced. She was there every morning early and I was able to hand him off and she took great care of him all week. Also, she must have the patience of a saint because he never stops talking and never stops asking questions. This weekend all Nick talked about was wanting to see Laura and wanting to go back to camp again. If there are enough spots next year I am hoping to sign up Will and Ben as well – and have my 3 oldest out there. Thanks Jeff – enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to next year.

I just wanted to drop a note of thanks to you and your staff. Lawrence, Joey, Eric and Nolan had a great time this past week. After what could have been a disaster in losing the Johnson Rink due to unforeseeable circumstances you and your crew did a remarkable job finding a suitable arena in very short notice. A task that could not have been as easy to pull off as you made it look. Coach Pat and his gang where highly energetic keeping the kids moving and motivated throughout the entire day. The range of drills that include one-on-one battles, balance/agility, stick handling and shooting where both fun and beneficial to all the kids. One drill in particular was geared to teach body position and the kids were having so much fun they didn’t realize they were learning a very valuable skill. Thank you and we look forward to see you all again.

Thanks a million for a great week. My boys Aidan & Brendan attended the proforma @ Milton AC. Aidan had Colleen & Kevin for instructors. he loved them & they treated him like gold. Brendan had Cody & told me we have to go & watch his new best friend play this year @ assumption college. All instructors were great, but both the boys told me Adam was the best.

Just wanted to let you know we just finished up a phenomenal week with your camp. My son Carson (squirt) and his buddies thought this was the best camp they have ever attended over the past 3 years. Coach Justin Nelson and staff were AWESOME as they made learning fun and were able to convey there hockey knowledge that kept there students highly interested and engaged. Coach Nelson valued each child as a contributor and never left anyone out. The Professionalism, Enthusiasm, and Experience presented bye Coach Nelson and staff will have us coming back for many years. Thanks for a great week and we will see you next year. We attended other camps out of state but found the best one was in our own back yard.

I hope all is well. First and foremost, I appreciate the attention and mentorship you and your staff provided for Jacob throughout his tenure with Pro Ambitions, especially Laura who Jacob misses terribly. His trip to Boston is truly a highlight in his life and he cannot stop talking about it.. It is our sincerest intent to spread the word about Pro Ambitions and Jacob speaks of you as his new best friend. Rest assured we are already making our plans to attend next year. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. BTW: Tina and I truly appreciate your mother’s patience and making the administrative part seamless and very accommodating.

I would like to add that I went and watched a few of the days and was extremely impressed with the camp experience. Scott Young and his assistants did a fantastic job with the kids at the Sniper Sharpshooter camp.

This was Max’s first Summer Camp and it is evident that he learned a great deal from your instructors. He was originally picked as a PeeWee 3 last spring and has already been moved to the PeeWee 2 team due large in part from the experience he had at your camp over the summer. He loved playing with kids from all over the country.

Just wanted to let you know how much fun my boys had and how great the coaches were. We are looking forward to doing your camp again. You had a great staff. please commend them all.

Just wanted to send you a quick note in appreciation to all your staff on what a wonderful job they do ! Your camp is by far the best camp my daughter has ever attended. It will be a fixture on her summer schedule of things to do ! It is the perfect combination of working very hard on her skills and having fun while doing it. Your camp has so much structure and runs like a well oiled machine. Jeff it is so obvious as a parent who observed the entire week that you put your heart and soul into making your camps the best camps around. You personally being at your camps and interacting with the kids shows just how committed you are to the kids experience. Again thank you so much and Jocelyn has already asked if she could return next year, so we will see you then.

I wanted to write a quick note letting you know how impressed I was with the AAA Battle Camp that took place last week. I worked from Boston last week and had the chance to watch much of the camp. Coach Evan was outstanding – firm but developed a great rapport with all of the campers. I was impressed by the instruction, passion of the instructors, efficiency of the day (no down time) and supervision. I will spread the word and hopefully bring more kids from my son’s team. All of the instructors were great.

Great week at Katie King’s camp! Lots of new drills and they really kept my daughter challenged all week. They were an incredible group of young ladies, all the coaches…very personable and great role models for the girls. Katie King was awesome to all the girls and I thought she did an outstanding job running the camp and interacting so positively with all the girls.

I had my son, attend the Pro Ambitions camp in the Westchester Skating Academy last week. Even better, I happened to be off that week so I was able to hang around to see what was going on. Have to say that it was one of the best camps I’ve ever had Dana in. Kevin Mulligan ran a tight ship: the station circuits were run on time to the minute, he kept the guys moving all the time, and of course he got the conditioning in. I also liked the attention and teaching given to checking.

And the competitive “battle camp” nature was great. What I liked the best is that the drills incorporated many hockey skills in each. Also, as a football coach, I liked what Kevin setup as a “gauntlet”: the guys could skate either way, and the “defender” had to match them and meet them in the “hole”.

Overall, I loved the camp and have recommended it to everyone in our hockey community since. Only regrets being we didn’t do the Haverhill camp. (Couldn’t do it back2back at this time). We will look out for that next year.

I would just like to you to know that my son Benjamin Gee (8 year old) enjoyed your camp very much. Also, I thought all of the coaches at the camp were very good, especially Hubel and Sam. The drills were very organized and everything moved very efficiently. Hubel did a great job running the whole thing and Sam was very good with the kids.

On behalf of Lucas and our family, I would like to Thank Pro Ambitions for the opportunity to participate in such a great camp.  This was the first year our boys attended camp and they had an awesome experience.  The program/drills were exceptional and the instructors were engaging.  We had heard wonderful things about Pro Ambitions Camps.  Our expectations of the experience were far surpassed.  Lucas being nominated Warrior of the Week was “icing on the cake”.  This Warrior stick is quite a pleasant and exciting surprise.

Just wanted to let you know my kids really enjoyed Battle Camp this year. Your organization puts on a GREAT camp! The coaches were all awesome with the kids. Both are excited to go back next year. If you let me know when next years camp is scheduled, I will gladly put up some flyers at the rinks around town, I can post them during the youth season for best exposure and I can contact local organizations to get the info posted on their websites again.

Was wondering if you may bring some of you other camps up here in the future as well?

Liam was a part of the Hocrosse this summer, and loved it!! Your staff rocked and really build a positive rapore with the kids. It was nice to see. Congrats on a well-structured and interactive program that you and your staff have devised.

I wanted to tell you guys that John (the lead instructor) at the camp was absolutely fantastic. He was super friendly/warm in greeting the kids and the parents the first day and throughout the camp and he was really professional in the way he ran the camp. But, this is what stood out the most to me. My son was having trouble beating kids in his group in one of the drills one day (he was doing well in the other drills). I could tell he was getting upset by it. John picked up on that too and pulled him aside (another coach was actually running the drill). He worked on a few things with him and built his confidence back up. Then he sent my son back out into the group and encouraged him on each turn he took in the drill. My son started winning the battles in that drill and you could see his confidence building back up. We’ll be back next year for a lot of reasons, but John’s attention to my son in that moment won me over completely.

As for the camp as a whole, it was just what I was hoping for when I learned about the camp earlier this year. I loved the contact involved in all of the drills and my son loved it too. As a mite (moving up to squirts), it was exactly what he needed as he is working to become a more physical player.

The coaches were all great with the kids. The drills were fantastic – I loved the constant contact in each one. (I was there for every minute of the camp…we live in NYC and the camp was in Long Island, so I took the week off to get my kid out there. Any chance you can run a camp in NYC next year?)

At any rate, I’ll never forget what John did for my son.

My kids, nephews, and friends, that attended the AC camp LOVED the instructors and the program.

We invited the coaches to our house for a dinner and not only were they gracious, kind, considerate, funny and pleasant but they also went above and beyond their duty. A couple of them, lead by Rocky, actually went upstairs into their “fort”, played knee hockey, soccer, basketball and air hockey. They topped off the visit with an old school street hockey game including touching tail lights.

This email started off as a question about boarding camps but, it was impossible not to tell you how great your coaches are. I could go on for a long time about each coach but I hope you get the point. Anyway, please get back to me about the boarding camps. Thanks

Our son is at the PA camp with Brian Day this week in Dedham. Once we got him out of bed this morning, he was really excited to get back on the ice with everyone. Yesterday was fantastic and he is exhausted but having fun. As I told Brian this morning, in all the years of attending summer camps (hockey and other kinds), my son has never come home with such a positive attitude about the first day as he did last night.

I read on your web site that your organization does private lessons and/or private lesson groups. We would be interested learning more about where the lessons are conducted and the cost. If you could forward this e-mail to the right person, I would greatly appreciate it. If this helps you to connect us to the right person – we live in Foxboro, MA. He plays defense and has been playing at the AAA level the last three years. He’s a strong skater, but struggles when he tries to maintain his skating speed and handle the puck. The teams he had been on these past couple years struggled and therefore he spent most of his ice time in his defensive own zone and getting very few opportunity to improve his stick-handling.

First let me just thank you for the great camp my son is currently experiencing. This is by far the best hockey camp he has ever been able to be a part of. The skills and drills are a welcome change to the mundane drills he is used to normally. Each drill is new to him and he says it makes it all the more fun while learning to play better. With that said, I’m also writing to let you know that my son unfortunately forgot his lunch today but one of your coaches(Coach Mike) without a second thought shared his lunch with my son, and I just want to thank you personally for having that type of top notch coaching/people on your staff. Your coaches always greet the kids with a positive attitude and genuinely seem to care about helping all of the kids become better hockey players. We will absolutely be coming back every year. Thank you again for having the best hockey camp around, and please let coach mike and all the other battle camp coaches know that they’re doing a great job!

Here is the e-mail that I sent to Kevin Regan regarding the Goalie camp that my son attended in Newington, CT.

I couldn’t believe you had the all-time Hockey East leader in save % as a coach…never mind that my family are also big UNH fans!

My son had one of the best weeks of his life and the details/instruction he was shown by Kevin has been amazing to see!

Thank you for having such great quality in your coaching staff….you will defiantly see us again next year!

I would really like to send a note of praise to the Guys that put the ABQ Pro Ambitions training camp together.  We’ve done other camps and this is the first time my 11 year old came home inspired to “work out” every day.  He loved the college guys that coached him (Dan and Danny especially) and Ron really put a tight camp together.  My sons skating improved and the other  3 kids we brought from Taos also improved exponentially.  We look forward to bringing more of our team next year and hope you’ll consider Santa Fe.

I would like to take a minute and express my appreciation for having a camp in Wasilla Alaska. My son has attended just about every camp that has come to Alaska thru the years. After your camp we will look no more. Your camp was by far the best learning camp we have seen. I hope you decide to come back next year and if so we will pass the word to teammates and hockey families. The player/coach ratios were perfect and we commend you for that, so many camps have so much standing around time on the ice. In fact i was so disgusted with a camp we attended the week before yours that i timed the amount o standing while on ice. In this camp 75 minutes on ice 58 were spent standing inline. Not so with your camp! New refreshing drills and concepts and professional coaches make your camp #1. Please pass along our thanks to the group of coaches who did this camp and we hope to see you again next summer.

I hope this finds you well. Let me start by saying thank you for allowing Nick to attend this event as a Defending the Blue Line participant. Of my 20 years of involvement in coaching/facilitating youth sports, I’ve yet to meet a more professional or pleasant staff as Brandon and his 3 assistants at the UTC, San Diego camp. Their skill sets were incredible, but more importantly, they could relay the information well to each camper. Not only did they cater to the specific needs of each skater, but extraordinarily patient and social with the parents and younger siblings. They are a highly favorable representation of your label/brand. Nick was heartbroken this morning, realizing today was his last day of camp; I hope your camp comes back to the local area again next season.

I just wanted to say thank you for doing such a great job with my son at the camp last week at UTC Icetown.     I did not get to watch much of the camp since I was working during the day.  However,  Nolan learned and improved a ton by attending this camp with your coaching staff.   He was just a different player tonight in our Mite game after the week at your camp.  He was skating faster with a much better stride, going after lose pucks, bumping other players off the puck, shooting the puck, and passing to his teammates SOOOOOO much better than he has in our previous games.  We had him play one game at center tonight and the second game on D.  He really played like he knew what he was doing out there and was our best player on the ice.  My son’s improvement after attending your camp last week is amazing.  We can’t wait to attend the camp again next year. Please keep us on your email list to let us know the schedule for upcoming camps in the San Diego area.   Thanks again,
Peter D.

I want to thank your for helping me get my son to your camp. I stayed and watched the 1st on ice session and came back for the last practice and final game. As an educator and coach who works with youth to pro athletes, I want to commend you and your staff for doing an exceptional job. The curriculum and staff was incredible from top to bottom and from the start to finish. The evaluation will be extremely helpful to my son and his coaches.

Thank you and we look forward to returning next summer!

Thank you for a wonderful week.  Not only do you have a hockey resume that is jaw dropping you are also an AMAZING coach!  Ean learned more than we would have ever imagined at camp this week and that is a direct reflection of you.  I truly hope you continue to coach kids as you are wonderful with them.  We asked Ean what he learned from hockey camp this week and he drew us his net/crease and started explaining A, B, C, D & 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.  I want you to know, this is the FIRST TIME ever that Ean has been able to relay something to us about what he has learned…both at school or hockey!  Every time we have ever asked him he says, I don’t know…probably because he is 8, whatever the case, you got through to him and he is now more excited than ever about hockey and about utilizing the skills you taught him.  THANK YOU and keep up the great work, you are amazing with them, all the kids loved you!  (Probably helps that you are both pretty and rock at hockey)

We are all excited to come and cheer you on when you play Dartmouth this winter.  I will watch the schedule and be sure to get tickets.

My Son did the Battle Camp in Anchorage, Alaska, July 15th-19th. He had his Hockey Tryouts this past weekend and made the team he was hoping to be a part of. He wished he could thank the coaches from the Battle Camp because they taught him so many things he needed to learn in preparation for the tryouts. All the coaches were so professional & courteous. It was our first year participating in the camp & we will definitely do it next year 🙂

This is Shai’s father from Portland. We both just wanted to say thank you again for a great Pro Ambitions camp experience. He really gained a lot from the program and enjoyed your coaching. As I may have mentioned to you, this is best hockey camp he has attended over the past three years.

I hope you had safe travels back to Texas (no issues with your flight) and enjoy being with your family. Maybe we will see you in Portland again next summer (feel free to call or contact me any time if you come out this way).

Our son attended your power skating camp at Philips Academy Rink this past August taught by John Roderick.

Sincerely,

Maureen Evangelou

John will see you at Kent’s Hill this summer.

Thanks,
Donna Melancon

My husband and I could not be happier that our son Matt attended your AAA camp in Kents Hill, Maine. It made an incredible difference in his understanding of the game. This has translated into a now incredibly aggressive and talented player. He is now on the Squirt 1 team and performing beautifully! We are thrilled to see the difference. We did not see this after any other camps – only yours.

We are very interested in having him continue to work with your organization. Please keep us posted on any ongoing camps. He will definitely be returning to Kents Hill. He loved that camp!

Thanks,
Jim Mazza

Our best to you and your wonderful staff,
Jean, Jim and Ryan McQuaid

I hope everyone had a great vacation week and wanted to get a little feedback on your camp experience last week.

Did you have fun?

Both my goalies (Anthony and Kirsten) enjoyed working with Mike. From my perspective, he seemed to make the learning fun. In fact, Kirsten wanted to go back this week.

Did you learn?

Both put their new skills to work over the weekend. Kirsten recorded her first shutout (with 15 shots against), and Anthony had an awesome weekend in goal for the squirt T2 State tourney…in four games, saw 105 shots and only 8 got by him…92%. Three of the games, he held the teams to one goal, the fourth was a 5-5 tie against the top seed. Hard to say if all can be attributed to the camp, but it certainly refined their skills.

Was it challenging? Do you work hard?

I think you challenged them by giving them new tools to work on.

Was the staff courteous? Would you come back?

Yes, and yes, schedules permitting.

Hi,

My son would answer yes to all those questions. After I spoke to you in the locker room on Monday after the camp, I knew it was a solid program. The last remark my son had was “How come it did not end on Friday?” I told him it was not like grammar school. I could see the improvement last weekend in the two games he played in.

Thank you very much,
Brian

Hi Jeff,
My son is 7 years old and attended your battle camp this summer in Exton Pa. His name is Tommy Peltekis. He is extremely shy and I was worried about his reaction. Let me tell you, he loved it. He can’t wait to come back next year. Also, what an incredible change in his aggression on going to the puck. He looks fabulous on the ice. His coach had him playing all defense last year and he had about 10 goals. This year his coach has him playing center and defense. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back again next year.

Cheryl Peltkis

P.S. The guys that ran the camp were exceptional skaters as well as terrific guys.

I am not sure if you will remember my son Ben Israel he attended one of you defensive clinics at Kent hill this summer and I wanted to take a moment of time to say thank you for putting on a great camp, Ben learned a lot about defense and has been playing great this fall. It was great experience and thanks for delivering on everything that your brochure advertised.

Thank you and good luck

My son, Erik Thomas, always thought that he was a good hitter, but Nick showed him how to have better balance, and he can’t wait to show his skill, I just feel sorry for his victim. I’m sure you will see him next year.

Sincerely,
David Dumont

Thanks,
A.J. Richard

Hello Pro Ambitions

Well, I went to my first Newton Youth Hockey game this morning. It was a Garden City Tournament game, Newton vs. Wellesley. I was positively amazed and astounded to see Jeremy actually on the ice playing the game. Jeff, you have worked miracles. Last May when he said he wanted to play ice hockey, he had never even held a hockey stick, much less hit a puck. You and your team have worked miracles. I am so impressed. I hope you realize what you are accomplishing with this kid. Jeremy NEVER wanted to play team sports. I have no clue why as he is athletic, but soccer, little league, none of that appealed to him. And David and I never pushed him. We were delighted when he said he wanted to play ice hockey because we think a team experience is valuable. But frankly, we weren’t sure we were going to be able to help him pull it off. As you know, kids start all of this so early in life. Finding you was a Godsend! You are an excellent teacher and I really hope you know that. Watching him this morning with all these huge kids who are truly skilled, I just couldn’t believe my eyes. Granted he needs to learn speed on ice, and he is not yet the most aggressive kid out there, but he is, nevertheless, after only two months or so of playing, out there giving it his best shot. He was super this morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! We are so appreciative of the opportunity you have provided.

Warm regards,
Linn

I wanted to let you know that we are sooooooo happy with the results of this past summer!! The boys got so much better and it really shows. Alex got a hat trick on his travel game yesterday and Matt’s scoring too. We are looking forward to this summer.

Thanks again,
Debbie and Emilio M.

Twice over the past few weeks Jeffrey has scored key goals using skills that you worked on with him during the synthetic ice sessions. One goal was the game winner – rebounded his own backhand shot and scored top right corner from only a few feet out – and after that he said “I never would have scored that goal without Jeff Serowik”. Thought you might appreciate hearing that! The High School season is flying by and is over by mid February – once things are less busy we’ll want to do some more sessions with you.

I really enjoyed your synopsis of your Squirt b-1 Rockets, My first year coaching my son Joe was at the same age level, and with the exception of different names they could be the same team, including two girls. Joe Attended one of your camps in his 1st Pee-wee year, and I still credit that for a lot of the success he is enjoying now as a high school junior. He was the post hugging defenseman, but has blossomed into a pretty talented offensive mule. Your camp was the only one he attended that truly gave full credit to what a good defensemen is supposed to do, and his skating and stick play today are reflections of what you showed him years ago. It sounds like you are having a ball coaching your daughter, enjoy it, it goes all too quickly!

Cam said he learned more at your camp in one day than he did over the entire hockey season and he does not want to miss the camp this summer. I am hoping that we can work something out so that he can attend a one week goalie session.

T. McHugh (father of camper)

He loved the clinic he did over Christmas in 2006. Your camp was a turning point for him. He really started to want to play more and get better. Since I have been to practically every camp in North America, parents are always asking me where to send their kids. I am brutally honest when I assess the different camps and I always tell them that there are only

2 that I would completely recommend without any reservations. Pro Ambitions is one of them. I really loved your camps and I hope to get back sometime.

Thanks for the email and all your help!!

Here is an update of Nick since Pro Ambitions camp in Aug. 05.

1) Eastern Maine All Star 2nd team forward
2) Eastern Maine All Star Rookie 1st Team
3) Hockey Night in Boston Final Showcase 06 and 07
4) Selected by Sean Tremblay( NH Junior Monarchs) to play in the Chicago Show Case in April
5) Coach of Colby College, Jim Tortorella has expressed interest in Nick through Kents Hill coach Larry Cockrell
6) This past weekend Kents Hill won the Division II Prep Championship

A lot of this is because of you and the outstanding people you have as counselors for your camps. This dad and very proud father thank you very much also.

Mike Kolb

I just wanted to personally thank you for a great week of Boarding Camp! Ian wanted to attend this camp after attending your Battle Camp in June 2006 in Lake Worth (he’s now also attended the Battle Camp in June 2007). The Individual Camp exceeded our expectations, and Ian had such a great time! Ian has attended so many other hockey camps, and this Individual Camp was far superior to any other that he has attended. We can hardly wait until next summer when Ian can attend two weeks of Pro-Ambitions here at Boston University!

On the final day, I observed incredible improvements in Ian’s skills and intensity. He not only changed and progressed on the ice, but off the ice as well. He really matured as an individual this week.

Again, thank you for such a fine program and fulfilling week. We look forward to seeing you again next summer.

Sincerely,
Evan Keller

My son Travis just finished your camp in Lake Tahoe. Needless to say we were very pleased with EVERYTHING! Coach Dan, Coach Eric and the rest of your staff are awesome. They gave each athlete the individual attention they needed.

Best regards,
Robert Wood

Thank you for all of your wonderful emails. I wanted to let you know the progress my son has made since he last attended your camp.

His name is Kace and he is a pee-wee. He recently made the Hershey Jr Bears Pee-Wee AA team (which qualified for Silver Sticks in January) and the Hershey Quebec team (which is going to Quebec for February’s tournament).

We wanted to thank you for all that you do and for running such a wonderful program. Best holiday wishes

Very organized and well run camp. Nice job!!!!

In addition, he couldn’t stop talking about paint balling and going on the harbor cruise with kids from all over the world.

All of the coaching staff at Chad’s team (92 AAA Detroit Wizards) has complimented him on his improvement this summer. I mainly give credit to your Boston University camp. Is there any chance of your clinics moving west for a week? If not, Chad will once again be attending the Boston University camp.

By the way, our team will be playing some Boston area teams in February. If interested I will send you the schedule if you have some time to come watch.

My son, Alex Trujillo, attended your defense camp in Estero, FL from 6/16-6/20/08. I just wanted to let you know how much his play improved after attending this camp. Even though he just graduated from 8th grade, going into 9th this week, he
played at the Sophomore HNIB tournament from 7/13-7/19/08, and after a cutthroat week of play, was able to make one of the All-Star teams. I don’t think this would have been possible had he not learned the tactics and
skills from your camp.

I would like to thank you for the very positive experience that my son Matthieu Marchal had this summer at the BU hockey camp. We weren’t sure what to expect, but his week at the BU camp was more than we hoped for. Matt came back with the kind of self-confidence that comes from learning new skills and knowing they will serve him well. He had fun to boot, which I think is not easy when you are concentrating on skills. He said that the counselors were nice and really good at teaching. This past week he played his first game and everyone, his coach, we the parents and other players’ parents were amazed how much better he played. He’s always been considered a very good goalie, but his skill level was so much more effective after the week that he spent at your camp.

Thanks also for rooming him with another French-speaking boy. He enjoyed being able to talk to Rafael more easily, though he made a point of saying
that all the kids were friendly and a fun bunch to be with.

I really hope that we can find another opportunity for him to train with your staff. He definitely wants to come back next year.

Two years ago my son Jared attended your Defensemen Camp at Boston University and came home with a boost in his confidence level and became a defensive leader on his 18-U Midget Major AA team even though he was one of the youngest players.  He still uses what he learned at your camp and has taken that training to another level.  He recently signed a contract with the New Mexico Renegades Junior A team in Albuquerque, NM knowing this is one step closer to where he wants to take his hockey goals.  To this day, we still are grateful to you and your staff for putting on such a great camp that left lasting results.
Dennis & Marci Alires

Carsten enjoyed his time at both the BU camp and the Milton camp, his skills improved and as well as his love for ice hockey. He would like to continue attending Pro Ambition Ice Camps, please keep us informed of your future camps.

Thank you for everything you have done to take my son’s game to the next level, I appreciate it and look forward to enrolling Carsten in the future.
Pamela Lohan

Ian received the autographed photo that you sent him and says thank you. He loves it.

We’ll mail his Pro Ambitions jersey to you (as discussed) for your autograph.

Relative to before, Ian’s been a tiger on the ice in 1-on-1 battles and scrimmages since your Tahoe D-camp. In addition to providing him a lot of really good training, you and your coaching staff ignited his passion to play hockey and inspired him to work hard so that he can get better and have more fun.

Thank you,
Rick Montesanti

My son, John Waldron an ’02, just finished a week long battle camp.  I cannot believe the strides he made in a week.  Before the camp I just wanted him to have fun, learn how to compete, and hopefully get better.  He accomplished all three and more.  He had a love for the game before, now it is part of him.

I have played all over and coached at all levels, your curriculum has done wonders for my son.  I see him him compete at every drill, not back down to anyone, and always keep pushing!  Your instructors did not coddle him and expected him to work just as hard as the older kids. Justin Nelson and Keith Kirley did a great job, your school is in great hands with them.

John Varga and I played together, and now our sons play together.  I feel that with the solid gains they gained this past week, and what I learned from just watching, your camp made me a better coach, and my son a better player. Thank you!

See you next year!

Mike & John Waldron

Your clinic was excellent.

It was the best clinic we put Todd in this summer.

Dean and Kevin did a great job!!  Todd learned a lot and it seems to be carrying over to his game.  We want to keep the flow going…

We look forward to more hockey with you…

Debbie Weitzman

I wanted to let you know that Chris had a great time at the camp last week.

He’s disappointed that it’s over but at least he has the Power Skate to look forward to this Sunday. Hopefully, if our finances make a turn for the better, we will put him in one of the Pro Ambition camps during school break. Your camp is the only camp Chris shows noticeable improved skills at the end of the week.

You work them hard and they come out stronger and much better.

My 16 year old son attended your camp as a boarder at the Vernon ,NJ site. He came back a changed player. He was good before, but you brought his game to a new level. Camp ended on Friday and he had a game Saturday and Sunday. In Saturday’s warm-ups I could see the difference. It was strange, but I could tell something was different. More confident, a harder shot, poised and in control.  In Sunday’s game,he scored  from the point on a hard , well-placed slaps hot, and just missed another goal on another point shot that he confidently  drew off the boards on the right side (he’s a righty).  When I asked him about the goal, he replied,”Jeff told us where to place the puck on that shot”. I have been hearing a lot of “Jeff told us…” lately.
Thank you so much for delivering on what you promised.

Jeff your camp was wonderful! My son enjoyed it and at the same time learned a lot of great skills. Your staff was very supportive and set a great example for the players. We will spread the word about our great experience.

Thanks again,
Amy Held – Evansville IN

I wanted to let you know we took advantage of the discount on the sniper camp. Andrew had a great summer and is a much better player. He would have easily made the squirt 1 team if he went into the tryouts with the skills he has now.

Specifically, I would like to praise Pat. The work he did with Andrew in the defense and battle camps really helped Andrew. And he really did great with the kids.

You’ll definitely be seeing Andrew next summer for some camps.

“Pro Ambitions Hockey Camp is one of the top camps in the country”

-Sports Illustrated For Kids

“I am so impressed by Jeff’s company, Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. and look forward to our up and coming joint hockey ventures in 2006. Jeff’s perseverance and integrity throughout his pro career and injury was a true tell tale sign of his up and coming successes after pro hockey. I have been Jeff’s agent/friend since the very beginning and Jeff’s hockey career has been quite a ride. I could not give a better recommendation or endorsement to young players. I am now starting to scout some former Pro Ambitions campers. The circle of life.”
